Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 801: Chapter 775: You Handled This Beautifully

The hurried Xiaoqiang, who came back just to stir up Qian before leaving again, left a trail of ripples in Qian’s heart.

She really suspected this guy was a dog, always gnawing away persistently, leaving her rummaging through her wardrobe without finding suitable clothes, so she simply decided not to go anywhere.

Plans can’t keep up with changes; just as she blew off half a day of class, Mr. Liu’s call came through.

”Little Cannonball, I’ve got something arranged for you the day after tomorrow, you need to go out for me.”

”Teacher, I’m not feeling well the day after tomorrow.” Qian looked at the marks all over her body that definitely wouldn’t disappear, should she really go out with these things stuck on her?

”...Chen Xiaoqian, are you looking for trouble?”

It’s not even the day after, can’t you come up with a better excuse?

”I think my whole head is aching...”

Over the past few years, whenever the teacher assigned tasks Qian didn’t want to do, she’d use this excuse to dodge, and of course, it never successfully worked, this time was no exception.

”Are you looking for trouble? So I’m not able to manage you, right?”

”Teacher, where do you want me to go?”

”I’ll call you on that day and tell you, just go where I tell you, why so much nonsense? Don’t think I don’t know what you did with Mr. Li, I’m just unwilling to mention it!”

”Teacher, deep inside you’re probably secretly happy, thinking of praising me? Don’t be shy, you’ve been displeased with that little boss asking students to do private work without pay for ages, right?”

Being spoken to the heart, Mr. Liu cleared his throat, she won’t be led astray by this Little Cannonball!

”Don’t change the subject! Just go where I tell you, if you don’t, I’ll tell Mr. Li I don’t want this rebellious student and let her handle you!”

The relational distance can be inferred from the way they speak, clearly a close teacher.

”Sigh...” Qian sighed sadly, is her teacher going through menopause?

”Why are you sighing when I haven’t yet, your Miss Hua is in trouble, and you keep thinking not to progress, I got stuck with a few of you troublesome ones.

”What’s wrong with Hua?”

”She actually, while I wasn’t looking, privately took a borderline personality disorder patient, wrote the treatment process as a diary in her personal space and forum, with extremely high hits, and what’s worse, she tries to hide from me, setting the space access so I can’t get in...I only knew from Lv Xiaocha!”

”This Lv Xiaocha is a troublemaker, stirring things everywhere.” Qian snorted, knowing full well Lv Xiaocha wasn’t truly good with Hua, some petty people just like stepping on others to climb up.

”Knowing she’s no good, you dare let her send emails?” Mr. Liu said coldly.

Qian cleared her throat, feeling guilty.

”Teacher, what are you planning to do about Hua’s matter?”

”What else can I do? If she wants to take it, let her take it, any consequences later are hers to assume; she never listens to me.”

Having been her teacher for so many years, still chasing instant success and quick gain; seeing Qian earn money, she feels anxious and envious; not letting Hua take this kind of consultation was for her own good, but Hua thought Liu was looking down on her because initially, Liu planned to give Li Jia’s case to Qian and not her, so she went high-profile and took one herself.

Probably to contend with Mr. Liu and prove her ability is no less than Qian’s, Hua boldly posted under the name of Female Psychological Consultant’s Daily, both on domestic renowned forums and synchronized updates in her space, detailing her and the consultant’s interactions. Allegedly, she obtained consent from the consultant, recording each consultation and poetically embellishing it, drawing massive replies and onlookers as soon as it started.

This industry is still emerging domestically, everyone is curious, and Hua’s good writing makes it a sensational hit not surprising.

Such a thing, not informing Mr. Liu, also setting access so he can’t see, is slightly disheartening.

Though Qian knew Hua took such a consultant, she hadn’t expected Hua would go so far as to open a forum post about it, not easy to handle.

”I also read her treatment notes, the literary embellishment is too serious, and the professional sections are written too vaguely; she excessively emphasized the emotional interaction established with the consultant; I’m very worried about how she’ll wrap it up later.” Mr. Liu said worriedly.

”Hua has been with you for quite a while; maybe she can handle it well.”

Mr. Liu shook his head, ”I’ve watched, so far the consultant is particularly clingy, while your Miss Hua shows too much closeness, which entirely violates the therapeutic distance between therapist and patient; I fear the patient’s emotional repeat in later stages, Liu Xiaohua doesn’t have the ability to handle the aftermath.”

Borderline personality disorder is known as the counselor’s killer because patients with this disorder overly depend on interpersonal relationships, breaking therapeutic relationships during therapy, resulting in the cessation of treatment, and this disorder requires long-term follow-ups to be cured. Mr. Liu realizes Liu Xiaohua, at present, lacks the competence to treat this kind of patient.

Qian remained silent, realizing her teacher’s worries were valid, though Liu Xiaohua is too inflated at present, refusing to listen to anything.

”If she can manage, let her continue; if she gets disheartened by such a patient later, switching careers anyway, at this point she’s grown up, feels her wings are hardened, she doesn’t listen to me anymore, if she insists on her way, let her be.”

Mr. Liu was tired, having mentored several years of students, now seeing them so inflated, it hurt deeply.

Qian didn’t say anything.

But deep down, she knew that once Hua collapses, she’d definitely have to clean up as one of the mentees.

Already serialized online and attracted so much attention, addressing it poorly now might affect her teacher’s reputation, Qian promptly thought of remedial measures.

”I never worry about your professionalism, only distress at your lack of progress... In short, your senior sister now insists on her way, giving me headaches, just spare me some trouble, follow my instructions the day after tomorrow, understood?” Mr. Liu repeatedly urged Qian.

Qian hung up the phone, resignedly eyeing the marks on her body, deciding to use concealer later; her teacher was troubled enough, she shouldn’t provoke him further.

Qian didn’t see Mr. Liu’s extremely sinister smile after hanging up.

Still uneasy, Mr. Liu dialed a number, ”Hey, old classmate, are you sure Qi will go to Kao Shan County this weekend?”

”Relax, old Liu, based on my observations, ever since returning home Qi goes to Kao Shan County these days every year to worship ancestors, after which I invite him to our hospital to give lectures, and he assuredly agreed this year too.”

”Good, you handled this brilliantly.”
