Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 826: Chapter 800: Huh, You Can Do

The mindset of some relatives of mentally ill people is truly incomprehensible, they have no sense of social responsibility, refusing to send dangerous patients to hospital just to save money, yet after causing harm to others, they simply say he’s mentally ill and ask you not to mind.

How is that possible?

Yu Minglang’s heart shattered the moment he saw Qian unconscious.

He completed what a man should do; the moment he kicked the person, he did it from the perspective of a husband.

Mr. Yu thought to himself that the kick was well-placed.

This matter is indeed frustrating, and if it were him as Yu Minglang, the anger might be uncontrollable.

The father and son are of the same nature, and if it were Mr. Yu, he might have done even worse, for his wife is his life.

”Suffocation can cause cerebral hypoxia, prolonged hypoxia can have irreversible consequences, even brain death.”

Yu Minglang exploded upon seeing Qian being strangled into unconsciousness.

He couldn’t imagine his vibrant wife becoming a vegetative state in the next moment, nor could he tolerate the attitude of the mentally ill mother.

Everyone’s life is precious, so how can she casually say the mentally ill can’t be held accountable for murder?

”Sigh...” Mr. Yu let out a long sigh upon hearing this, losing all his anger.

”How is Qian?” His daughter-in-law has always been steady, so Mr. Yu was also very distressed by this incident.

”She’s awake now, due to timely treatment, no serious consequences have occurred. She’s now under observation in the hospital, but her throat can’t speak yet.”

Thinking about Qian’s bruised neck, Yu Minglang felt heartache, only regretting his kick wasn’t satisfying enough.

”Go back and take good care of her. For the next few days, don’t get involved, leave it to the public relations department to handle this matter.”

Mr. Yu said.

Just as Yu Minglang was about to leave, Mr. Yu called out to him.

”You rascal—”

Yu Minglang paused.

”Although, from the perspective of a company decision-maker, you were too impulsive, but from a father’s perspective, I want to say—Son, well done!”

Yu Minglang smirked, of course, considering whose son he is!

Although that kick was indeed inappropriate, Mr. Yu still felt quite relieved.

After Yu Minglang left, Mr. Yu summoned the public relations department to discuss the next steps, the people in the public relations department were well-versed in dealing with the media.

”President, the best approach now is private negotiation. If that family makes trouble, let the young boss go over and apologize to them, then casually settle it, the issue isn’t very serious.”

”Apologize?! Impossible.”

Before the young boss had to speak, the big boss refused.

The public relations manager got a black line on his forehead, thinking this father and son duo are really stubborn, their tempers are just the same.

”If they want to make trouble, let them be. My son won’t regret that kick, and I don’t plan to make him regret it, understand?”

After Mr. Yu finished speaking, the public relations department nodded, knowing that their high salary isn’t for nothing, immediately coming up with a backup plan.

”You rascal, causing trouble for me day and night, really, I wonder where this stubborn donkey temper comes from...”

Mr. Yu complained.

The public relations manager is a clever man; seeing the big boss’s expression, he bravely added.

”Boss, don’t pretend, you just love his temper, right? How could he be your son without some spirit? We should also consider the situation from his perspective, back then the young boss’s wife was hanging between life and death, had she not woken up, she might have ended up a vegetable. It’s normal for him to have emotions, accidentally touching, which is different from intentional aggression, isn’t it? I say, the young boss is still a spirited man, and it’s a blessing for us to work with such a boss.”

No wonder he’s in public relations, his rhetoric is formidable. He had just suggested Yu Minglang apologize, but after being rejected, he immediately changed his tone, making his point seemingly unassailable.

Indeed, the big boss’s expression softened, noticeably pleased by the flattery.

The manager seized the moment to offer a strategy, ”After all, the young boss just accidentally did it, and her own son was sick in the first place. If we don’t want to settle privately, controlling public opinion isn’t challenging.”

The emphasis in this statement is on the term ”accidentally.”

”Accidentally?” Well, there’s this kind of maneuver? Mr. Yu understood, exchanging a tacit look with the manager.

Settle it!
