Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

She looks alluring in formal attire, her long legs wrapped in stockings, making one’s heart itch with desire. Damn Alexander, actually giving the key to that woman, causing his excitement last night to be disrupted when he was nearly going crazy. Avery Jane might never agree to play those physical challenge games with him again; she already turned red with anger the first time, and was still a bit upset in the morning. A nap was good, and getting up was just right to stretch his muscles with Alexander.

Whenever Alexander was thrown out viciously again and again, he just wanted to bite someone because he couldn’t beat Joshua Hughes, that guy.

Exhausted like a dog, sprawled there: ”Joshua, you’re too ruthless, aren’t you?” Although there was padding, he still couldn’t take it. Although he had some success, on the whole, he was thrown out by Joshua more times.

: ”I think you’re not afraid of pain, or else how would you dare to casually give my house key?” The two men, drenched in sweat, lay on the padding, their muscles gleaming charmingly due to the sweat.

: ”What could I do? What could I do? Madam Hughes called me from the property management, and I immediately called you, but you damn didn’t answer—too busy enjoying yourself to hear the phone, huh? Could it be Madam Hughes happened to walk in and saw it? My God, Joshua, could this leave a psychological shadow? Do you need to find a psychologist for some counseling?” Alexander finally understood why Joshua was so ruthless today; he ruined someone’s business. But can he be blamed for it?

: ”You’re the one with shadows. Get up, let’s have another round.” Joshua stood up, kicking Alexander like a dead dog.

: ”I’m not doing it. Don’t take your anger out on me. Seriously, what happened yesterday? For your Madam Hughes to visit your apartment in the middle of the night, unless it’s something urgent, she definitely wouldn’t have come looking for me at that time.” Alexander sat up, grabbed a bottle of mineral water, unscrewed the cap, and took a big gulp.

: ”Nothing much, just sent away the person who should have been sent away earlier.” Joshua shrugged, indifferent. He should have done this long ago, just stubbornly wanted to see the expression on Luis Hughes’ face when Evelyn Yates finished having the baby and learned the truth. But now, nothing is more important than letting Avery Jane comfortably stay by his side. He doesn’t want anyone telling Avery Jane that he’s been hiding a pregnant woman. She may choose to believe him, but ensuring her life without worries is a whole other matter.

”You mean Evelyn Yates? Then what about her child?” Joshua doesn’t like mentioning that child, so he didn’t ask much. But now things seem to be beyond his imagination.

”That child isn’t mine.” Joshua said flatly, his face indifferent.

”Are you being cuckolded?” Today’s events are truly shocking, practically headline news material. Damn stimulating.

”Your jokes aren’t funny at all. She’s not my type of woman; how could she cuckold me?” Joshua’s lips curled into a cruel smile. Luis Hughes is bound to marry Evelyn Yates, but Evelyn was previously his discarded woman; karma is relentless.

”Then whose child is it?” Given Joshua’s character, he surely knows exactly whose child it is; if he hasn’t guessed wrong....

: ”It’s my beloved brother’s. He always likes my things, and this is no exception. Naturally, I generously gave it to him.” Joshua’s gaze turned distant and profound, slowly revealing the truth.

Indeed, it is true. Cold sweat began to slowly seep from Alexander’s forehead. One can only imagine the turmoil this news would cause within the Hughes Clan, but why did it turn out this way?

Hughes Clan Group Headquarters

Luis Hughes barged into Joshua Hughes’ office, stopped by the diligent secretary at the door. ”Manager Hughes, President Hughes is currently in a video call with Mr. Adam Matt. You cannot go in right now, please wait for a moment, okay?”

The secretary was evidently in a bit of a bind. Joshua Hughes had already gone through two secretaries in a year, so she had to give her utmost attention. She really needed the high-paying job, hence she couldn’t allow herself any mistakes.

: ”Get lost.” He rudely pushed the neatly dressed secretary aside before pulling the door open and bursting in.

Joshua Hughes just finished his call with Adam Matt, lifted his gaze to Luis Hughes: ”Being rough with girls isn’t gentlemanly; what do you need?”

”What do you mean? How can that idiot woman’s baby be mine? Is this your idea of respect?” Luis Hughes slammed the table, shouting. He had never been this angry in his life; when did he get an extra child out of nowhere? That woman wasn’t what he wanted; it’s downright unbelievable.

Joshua’s expression turned grim, enveloped in a chilling aura like ice. His sharp lips uttered lightly: ”Don’t talk to me about respect; you’re not qualified to speak about it.”

He hated Luis Hughes, hated him since childhood; he embodies the most blatant evidence of his so-called mother’s adultery.

The Hughes Family feared scandals, so when his father passed away, they sent Grace Roe away to give birth to Luis Hughes abroad, only to later bring him back to the Hughes Family. But Joshua knew Luis Hughes existed before his father died. His mother even began the affair before his father died, altered the birth certificate time but couldn’t change what he saw and heard firsthand.
