Dragon Monarch System

798  Chapter 798:- Blue Mystic Clan Leader

”Doctor Daniel, youʼre looking as handsome as ever!!” Said a man with Light Red Hair. The man sitting before Doctor Daniel had a very special identity. He was one of the Seven Clan Leaders. He was the clan Leader of the Blue Mystic Clan. Hearing such flattering words, Doctor Daniel merely laughed before replying. ”You flatter me!! In front of you, I look like a clown.” The man smiled and then looked at the body of the Princess. Beyond the transparent glass, he can see her body. She looked like she was about to die at any given second. Meanwhile, Doctor Daniel stared at the man sitting opposite him. He and Doctor shared the same first name. Both of their names were Daniel.

His last name was the name of his clan, Mystic. His name was Daniel Mystic. ”What are you looking at?” Daniel asked the doctor. ”Itʼs nothing!! I wondered how you deceive the whole world with your handsome looks.” Countless women have fallen for this handsome face. Hearing this, Daniel laughed loudly. ”Be careful; your wife might fall for me as well.” Doctor snorted. ”I donʼt have any wife.” ”Because your wife divorced you once you found out what kind of work you were doing.” Hearing all this, Doctorʼs face turned dark. He clearly did not like talking about this topic. ”What was her name again?” Daniel paused for a few seconds to see if he could remember her name. He also looked at the Doctor in hopes that he would say his ex-wifeʼs name, but unfortunately, he had no such desire.

”Although I donʼt remember her name, I do remember just how bouncy her breasts were.” ”Those lips were really tight.” Seeing the doctor shaking in rage, Daniel quickly stopped. ”Relax!! I was joking!!” But the Doctor coldly stared at Daniel. ”Instead of getting angry at me, you should be angry at yourself. You let your wife die.” Hearing this, the Doctor looked away. His eyes were full of guilt and anger. ”After all, I was the one who gave her a peaceful death.” ”I slept with her. And I gave the best experience that she had in her entire life and then killed her in her sleep.”

”Daniel....!!!” Doctor roared before grabbing his collars. ”Oh, my!! It seems the calm and collected Doctor has finally snapped!!” Daniel showed no sign of fear. Suddenly, the clan leader stopped smiling. His eyes turned very cold. ”Sit down!! We have something important to discuss.” He said in a serious tone. The doctor let off his collars. After taking a deep breath, he returned to his seat. ”Doctor, I heard that the Project is about to be completed.” Daniel looked at Rin through the transparent glass. ”Itʼs a shame that we were never able to touch her physically. Even a Peak 5th-order cultivator canʼt touch her body.” Ignoring the second sentence said by the clan Leader, the Doctor responded. ”Oh, yes!!! Fortunately, it took a lot less time than we had initially expected.” While speaking of his work, the Doctor sounded somewhat happy. ʼLook at him!! One moment, he was full of anger because I was talking about his wife. But now he is smiling and being so happy while talking about his work. I guess this is why these two separated, and I had to kill his wife.ʼ Daniel thought in his mind while listening to the Doctor. ”What about the Princess?” Daniel could see that she did not have much time left. Her face and body had become almost unrecognizable. ”Unfortunately, her body is finally breaking down. Without our capabilities, I doubt we would be able to save her.” Doctor Daniel felt regret, not because of Rin but because he was going to lose one of his favorite research subjects.

If only there was a way to save her. ”Why are you so sad?” ”I heard from Boss that he is aiming to get the body of the Dragon Monarch in this facility. He has even sent Item number 00785 to the Six Continents. At that time, you will be able to research so many new things.” Hearing this, Doctor again looked very excited. ”Yes! I canʼt wait to get my hands on the corpse of the Dragon Monarch.” ”I am sure I will be able to make even more progress if I can get his body.”

”Though, I would prefer if they brought him alive.”

Hearing this, Daniel shook his head. ”That might be close to impossible.”

”Why?” The Doctor asked with a confused face. ”Because I was in the Istarin Empireʼs capital to watch some tournament when the 9-Headed Hydra attacked.”

”In short, including all factors, defeating the Dragon Monarch might be Item 00785ʼs biggest challenge yet.”

”You shouldnʼt forget that Robert is the Spear Hero. There is no way that he would lose, especially now that I have given him the best weapon against Divine Dragons.”

”I believe in my work.” Hearing this, Daniel smiled and said nothing. Daniel looked at Rin and said. ”Time flies fast!!! It feels like we brought her here yesterday, and today, our long-awaited Project will finally be ready.”

The doctor said nothing. The concept of time was extremely foreign to the Doctor since he spent all his free time researching. It has been months, if not years, since he even stepped outside of this facility. ”You know, I feel really jealous of our Boss.” The doctor did not blame the Clan Leader for saying this. Even he felt very tempted. It was normal for anyone to feel very tempted.

”Our Boss will gain unimaginable power. He will become the Next King.” ”The World will have a Dragon King!!!”

”I wish I could get that power.” Even Doctor Wood felt very tempted by this power. With this power, he would be settled for their lifetime. With each passing day, he would only get stronger.

But that was only wishful thinking. There is no way that the boss would give this great power to anybody. ”Once Boss gets this power, not just the Six Continents or the Stardawn, but also the Main Continent would bow before his might.”

”When will the operation be ready to be conducted?” The Clan Leader Daniel curiously asked. ”Well, the operation is very complex. To be honest, I want to take a few more days to minimize our chances of failure.” ”Just give me a straight answer.” Daniel wanted a straight answer. ”Well, I have added the extract of Dragon Grass. It should take around 6 hours for the extract to mix properly. After 6 hours, everything will be ready.”

”How long is the entire process going to take?” Daniel asked. During that time, the Boss ordered them to protect Starfall Mountain with everything that they had. This is the reason why Daniel was here in the first place. He, along with many other powerful members of the organization, was heading here. This Starfall was already the safest place in the entire Stardawn. It was about to become even safer. It would be known as the impenetrable fortress. ”37 hours if my calculations are correct.”

”But when you were doing the same operation on Item number 00785, it took way less time. If I remember correctly, the operation took only 09 hours.”

Hearing this, the doctor rolled his eyes. This is why he hated talking with idiots.

”First of all, both operations arenʼt the same.”

”But his operation did include transferring Princessʼs blood into his body, right?” ”Yes, it did!!” The Doctor sounded irritated. ”The Divine Blood is very mysterious. The operation on Robert was meant to be an experiment. If it had failed, then this project would have been delayed by another 4 to 5 years.”

”Fortunately, everything went according to my calculations. Robert survived the operation and became even more powerful.”

”The Divine blood that entered his body was modified. Although it significantly increased his stats, it also turned his body into the most powerful and dangerous weapon against Divine Dragons. Not even legendary Dragon Slayers are as powerful and deadly as Robert against Dragons.” ”Robert does not have the power to transform into a dragon, nor did he gain any of the specific features of a dragon.”

”But the operation that I am going to perform on Boss is different. There is no modification. All the amount of Divine blood that we have been slowly extracting from her body over the years will be transferred to his body.”

”Once the operation is successful, the Bossʼs entire body and even his soul will change. He will no longer remain a weak human. His race would change to Divine Dragon.”

”What if the operation fails?” Daniel asked in a low tone. ”I have been collecting data from our other experiments.”

”Right now, almost all of our organization members, excluding you, have gone through a similar kind of operation. But in their operations, only a few drops of Divine blood were given to them.”

”Without using the Dragon Grassʼs extract, it is impossible for anyoneʼs body to contain more than five drops of Divine Blood. Even managing to take five drops of blood is extremely tough. Whoever is taking the divine blood has to fight their own body as the body begins rejecting this foreign power.”

”If more than five drops of blood are forcefully transferred into anyoneʼs body, then their bodies will explode.” ”Have you noticed that some members of our organization are missing?” Daniel nodded his head but then quickly realized. ”Donʼt tell me.....?” He looked at the Doctor in fear. ”Yes....!! They died giving us very valuable data.”

”The only race that can survive this forceful transfer of blood is Dragons.”

”But till now, I havenʼt been able to experiment on a Dragon, which is kind of unfortunate.”

”So the operation will be 100% successful. We just need to protect the Boss for 36 hours.” ”Doctor, I here for a few drops of blood from the Princess.” Daniel had a shameless smile. ”Originally, I took permission to get a few drops of blood so I could use them to increase my strength.”

”But after hearing your explanation, I have changed my mind. I want you to perform the operation on me and transfer those drops of divine blood into my body.”

”Did you really get permission from the boss?” ”Yeah!! You can ask him if you donʼt believe in my words.” Danial pointed at the communication artifact that the doctor wore on his ear. ”Itʼs alright!! Besides, since I have given a few drops of divine blood to almost everyone, you also deserve some share.” Hearing this, Daniel smiled. ”But the operation will need to wait after I finish Bossʼs operation.” Hearing this, Daniel froze. ”Why?”

”Because the Boss will be here in 6 hours. The Boss will need to start as soon as possible. Otherwise, all of that blood will begin losing its powers.”

”Before, I used a special freezing method to freeze all of her blood. But once taken out of the special freezer, I cannot just put the blood back. It wonʼt work twice.”

”Your operation will take too much of my time. I still need to do some more research on my subject while she is still alive.”

”Besides....!!! He couldnʼt even finish when.....!!!

”We have an intruder!!! It seems he has broken our first line of defense!!!”

Hearing this, the looks on their faces completely changed.
