Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 762:- Strongest General Vs Strongest Dragonian [II]

Suddenly, hundreds of spikes rose from the ground all around Amber. All the Generals and Spencer on the flying ship reacted strongly when they saw General Amber pierced by all the large black spikes. The length of each spike reached up to 2 to 3 meters. The spikes had impaled Amber from all sides. Cough.....!!!

Amber violently coughed out a large mouthful of blood. She looked horrified of what happened. ”Is it over?” Victoria was about to approach when she suddenly felt something coming from the right. At the very last second, she was able to dodge the attack, but not completely. Everyone has a long, straight horizontal scar running across her left shoulder. Her left shoulder began to bleed. Victoria calmly looked at the figure standing just about 5 meters away from her. As for the other Amber that was impaled, her body began fading and slowly disappeared. ”So that was an illusion?” Victoria wasnʼt surprised. Just as she had a very strong reputation in the military, Amber also had a big reputation for being the strongest and only 5th-order Illusion Magic user in the Istarin Empire. The Fox General was also known for other things. There is no way that she wouldnʼt have an illusion in this battle. So, from the beginning, Victoria has been prepared. So she wasnʼt very surprised when she saw her using illusions. What impressed her was how perfectly and timely she used illusion. Victoria almost fell for that. ”You forced me to use stats of a Mid-5th-order level; otherwise, I wouldnʼt have been able to dodge the attack.” ”Thank you for the compliment, but you are just as equally strong.” Amber was impressed by her powers. [Solar Blessing of Strength]

Victoria silently activated another of her passive skills. As soon as she used this passive skill, she felt her strength was growing with each passing second. The skill she used harnessed the Solar energy to slowly increase her Strength. At its peak, her strength can be increased by [400+]. ”Letʼs keep going.....!!” Victoria threw the spear in her hand, using it at full strength. At such a close distance, the spear moved like a lightning bolt. The spear was so fast that Amber had no time to counter the attack back. Watching Spear approach her, she is forced to use one of her hidden trump cards. Just as the tip of the spear was about to touch her, Amber suddenly disappeared. This left Victoria astonished. ʼWas that teleportation, or did she use illusion again?ʼ Victoria wasnʼt the only one who had this question in her mind. Everyone had the same question. She quickly got her answer as she found Amber 10 meters behind. ʼShe couldnʼt have appeared behind me without moving. I donʼt think she used illusion either, which means....!!ʼ Swoosh....!!!

Amber charged towards Victoria as two daggers appeared in her palm. The 6-foot-tall mad woman attacked Amber when she came near her. Amber wasnʼt expecting a kick from her. She had no choice but to stop her intention of attacking her. Amber had no choice but to take a few steps back to retreat. But as she was retreating, Victoria silently sent Mana to the ground using her legs. [Earth Spikes!!!]

An earth spike rose behind Amber while she was retreating. But just before the spike could penetrate her body, she once again disappeared and reappeared 20 meters away from Amber. ʼJust as I suspected.ʼ Victoria finally understood how Amber was this fast. ”This woman actually knows how to short-range teleportation...!!” Aditya was very impressed. Just like Victoria, Aditya also had figured out her ability. [Earth Bullets!!!]

Small and compressed spheres of Earth were fired at Amber-like projectiles. Amber, who had just teleported, barely had time to dodge or counter back with her Dagger projectiles. Gritting her teeth, she had to use another of her moves that she intended to keep as a surprise for Victoria.

[Heavenly Mirror Defense]

A normal transparent-looking barrier formed around Amber. The barrier was in the shape of a square box. Victoria thought that this was a normal Mana Barrier that Amber used at the last second, but a second later, she was proven wrong. Upon hitting the barrier, all of Earth Bullets were reflected on her. All the Earth Bullets were sent flying to Victoria, leaving Victoria stunned. She did not expect Amber to switch from Defense to offense using her own attack. Clenching her right fist, she punched the air using full strength. Victoria was already known for her strength. Due to using the Solar Blessing of Strength, her strength silently kept growing.

When she punched the empty air before her, her punch released a very strong and concentrated shockwave that destroyed all the Earth bullets and also sent a shockwave toward Amber. ʼWhat a power.....!!ʼ Just the shockwave had the power to hurt her if she didnʼt dodge it. However, Amber had other plans. She took the attack head just like Victoria did before. Upon impact, Amberʼs whole body turned into thousands of red butterflies. All the butterflies started scattering and began flying away. But that did not make Victoria lose focus. Knowing what was about to happen, Victoria channeled Mana to the earth using her legs again. As expected, Amber appeared behind her and wanted to attack her, but before she could, thousands of Earth spikes rose from the ground, surrounding Victoria. The earth spikes rose from the ground in a way that shielded Victoria from all directions. It came out to impale anyone or anything that might come at Victoria from any direction. ʼDammit....!!ʼ Amber realized that Victoria knew what she was going to do and was prepared for this. Amber cannot immediately use her short teleportation skills. She just used teleportation, so using a second teleportation wasnʼt possible for her. At this close range, it was impossible for her to use any other attack or activate any defensive skills. But that did not mean the General wasnʼt going to try.

Bang.....!!!

Amber fell to the ground while clenching her stomach. Unfortunately, she had failed. Blood was dripping out of her stomach. Everyone on the flying ship was very surprised to see what happened. Till this point, it looked like Victoria was being pushed back. Regardless of what she tried, she never found the opening that she was looking for. It looked as if Amber was in a very comfortable position. But this sudden and unexpected change left them all very surprised. ”Amber uses her illusion with her short-range teleportation ability really well.” ”The first time she was paled, she used this combination to appear behind Victoria. She was able to catch Victoria off guard the first time. But the second time, Victoria was well prepared.” Aditya explained to everyone. ”The second time when Amber used teleportation, Victoria kind of guessed what move Amber was using. The third time confirmed everything for Victoria. So the fourth time she used teleportation, Victoria was able to catch her off guard by turning Amberʼs attack into her own preplanned attack.”

Hearing this explanation, everyone was really surprised. ”Come to think of it. Since the beginning of this battle, Amber was forced to show more of her skills. Meanwhile, Victoria barely showed any of her skills.” ”Exactly.....!!” ”Does that mean Victoria now has an advantage over General Amber?” Aditya shook his head. ”This necessarily isnʼt true. Victoria cannot exploit this weakness for the second time. And Amber is unlikely to use this combination again, either. Both of them will most likely stay cautious. Amber still has many options. Just teleportation behind Victoria isnʼt her only option.” This battle was going to become more and more interesting. Before the next attack could hit her, Amber used teleportation. This time, she appeared 35 meters away from Victoria. Seeing this, Victoria stopped and looked at Amber. ʼSo she can teleport up to 35 meters.ʼ Victoria was 99% certain that this was the range of her Short Teleportation. Amber cannot teleport outside of the 35-meter range. If Amber could have teleported beyond 35 meters, she would have done so since she was injured. But she didnʼt, which implied that this was the limit for short teleportation. After teleporting, Amber looked at her stomach. The injury she received wasnʼt deep enough since she tried her best to stop the spike at the very last second. ʼBut if this was a real battle, this would have been the end of me.ʼ A part of why Amber was still standing was because, at the very last second, Victoria went easy on her. ʼBut the battle is not over yet.ʼ Amber began running at Victoria at full speed. [Fox Flash Step]

As she began running, multiple afterimages of Amber began appearing. At the same time, hundreds of daggers began to materialize all around Amber and the afterimages, making it almost impossible for Victoria to know which one was the real Amber. Seeing all of this, Victoria slightly frowned. ʼEven with my senses, I canʼt tell which one is the real Amber.ʼ Victoria knew that Amber was using a very high level of illusion magic, which was also affecting her senses. Suddenly two Amber moved faster than the rest. Leaving the rest behind, these two jumped at Victoria, holding daggers in their hands. Both of their movements were in perfect sync. The other versions of Amber were just a second behind them. Facing attacks from more than ten versions of Amber, Victoria was confused. ʼThen letʼs attack all of them.ʼ Clenching her fist, she punched at the empty air again. Her strength has been steadily increasing since the beginning of this battle. Boooom.....!!!

For a second time, a strong concentrated shockwave hit all the versions of Amber. This shockwave was even stronger than the previous one. The shockwave instantly destroyed all the daggers and all other versions of Amber. But while she punched the air, a figure came at her from the sky. Before Victoria can react, a dagger stabbed into her left shoulder.

Ah...!!!

The entire blade was pushed into her body. The pain nearly made the Knight of the Dragon Monarch fall to her knees. She angrily grabs Amber. But unexpectedly, her hand passed through Amberʼs body. ʼShe used teleportation.ʼ Victoria instantly guessed it. Meanwhile, Amber appeared out of thin air from Victoriaʼs right side. Using her full strength, she kicked her in the stomach. Bang...!!

The power of the kick sent Victoria flying back. In her path, she broke countless trees and boulders. Even then, the strongest Dragonian was able to adjust her body in mid-air and land on the ground on her two feet. However, as she did that, she saw a bluish glowing foxtail. All of Amberʼs foxtails hit Victoria. BANG...!!!

Victoria was sent flying. This time, the speed at which her body flew back uncontrollably was at least ten times faster. This time, due to the pain from the attack, she wasnʼt able to remain in control of her body in midair. All nine tails hit different parts of her body at the same time. When she was hit, Victoria felt as if she had been struck by nine bolts of lightning. But rather than feeling shocked, she felt excruciating pain throughout her whole body. The nine places where she was hit felt totally numb. Victoria flew back while leaving a trail of destruction. Everyone standing in the flying ship was stunned. Even Aditya was stunned to see how fast the whole tide of the battle had shifted in Amberʼs favor. ”I strongly feel like General Amber is going to win,” Josh commented on this, but others silently agreed with him. ”For once, I agree with you.” Even General Scott, who did not even like standing close to General Josh, agreed with his statement. Josh was too stunned and shocked to say anything to Scott. Everyone was staring at the battlefield without even blinking their eyes as if they were afraid that they will miss something. ----------------
