Chapter 754:- Spiritual Meeting [III]; Time

Seeing no changes in her response, Aditya took a deep breath and disclosed what he had learned about her.

It wasnʼt that hard to find her information. After all, someone as famous as her is known by almost everyone in the whole world. All he needed to do was open the first page of the book about the Goddesses. ”I believe that youʼre The Goddess of Music.” Hearing this, Rinʼs smile widened. Her face became brighter. Rin was happy that he knew her identity. This meant that she wonʼt need to waste time explaining her identity. And the fact that he knew her identity really made her happy. ʼSo he knows my Identity.ʼ Rin found immense happiness in his words. Once he learned her identity in the library that day, Aditya also understood why she called him ʼDanna-samaʼ. ”Danna-sama, I have wanted to meet you since I learned that I was engaged to you.” Rin looked at his eyes and spoke in a calm tone. ʼItʼs true. I never did meet the Goddess of Music in my childhood, did I?ʼ In fact, Aditya never really met anyone from her family. Over the years, she never came to visit or sent any one of her servants. There were times when Aditya, overcome by curiosity, wanted to contact her. He wanted to know what his future wife looked like. He also wanted to know what kind of person this Goddess of Music was.

She was one of the few goddesses that people knew very little about. Almost no information about her was known by the public or even by Aditya.

The only information that he knew of her was that the Goddess of Music was a Heavenly Voice. Her voice is said to be so sweet and melodic that she can calm any force in Nature. There are myths about her stopping wars between Empires using her angelic voice. From his childhood till their first meeting in the spiritual world, Aditya believed that the Goddess of Music had gone on a long journey. It was said that the Goddess was traveling the whole World in disguise. She used her divine voice to assist anyone she encountered and in need during her journey. Even when Aditya asked Alicia about the whereabouts of the Goddess of Music, she said the same things to him. Not even Alicia, the woman who has the most intelligent network across the six continents, knew the current whereabouts of the Goddess of Music.

ʼBut this isnʼt the case.ʼ Aditya thought in his mind. ʼAlthough I donʼt know what kind of problem she is facing, I am 100% certain that she isnʼt traveling right now.ʼ Aditya was sure of it from their two meetings. ”Actually, I also have been very curious about you.” The mysteries surrounding the Goddess of Music attracted young Adityaʼs attention. Many times, he used the resources and connections at his disposal to try to find out more about her. ”Given the mysteries surrounding you, I was really interested in knowing more about you when I was young.” ”Really...!!” Rin looked surprised to know that. After that surprised face, she giggled. She was happy knowing that Aditya was interested in her. ʼI guess I wasnʼt the only one.ʼ Rin was also interested in Aditya. She also used everything at her disposal to know more about him. ”But in the end, I hardly learned anything. All I got was countless myths and rumors about you. Most of which werenʼt even true.” Some unemployed people love to exaggerate things. There were some that even went far as to create imaginary scenarios about meeting the Goddess and spreading it around. ”For instance, I met this Rogue Cultivator who claimed to have spent seven days traveling with you. He claimed that when he was outside of the Main Continent, he met you in the Dune Sovereignty.” ”Pftt...!! Now, why would I go there? I have never been to any one of the six continents. In fact, I have never left the Main Continent on my own.” Rin found this whole thing very amusing and was also slightly concerned that people were using her name in this manner. But she couldnʼt stop it. Aditya nodded before continuing. ”He said that he was cursed by a powerful cultivator. He was in pain, but then you appeared and relieved him from his suffering with your angelic voice. He even went far as to claim that you two were friends.” ”What nonsense!!!”

”First of all, I never had any interest in visiting that desert continent.” ”And even if this Princess did visit that stupid desert continent, I would never be friends with anyone like him. This Princess has very high standards. Hmph!!!” Seeing Rin crossing her arms under her chest and snorting while looking away, Aditya could not stop himself from chuckling. ”What!! Did I say anything wrong?” Rin gazed at Aditya with a look that suggested she was prepared to argue with him if he voiced any disagreement. She looked like a red kitten that was hissing.

”No!! Youʼre right!!” Aditya raised his arms as if to show that he was surrendering. ”Youʼre a Mighty Princess with a cute voice. Of course, scums like that man arenʼt worthy of becoming your friends.” ”Thatʼs right!!” Rin closed her eyes and nodded her head with a satisfied look. ”Though, I canʼt help but wonder how a Goddess like you can be so much like a kitten.” Aditya laughed at his own words, but then he felt something on his cheek. He looked at Rin and realized that this woman had scratched. It made him wonder if she was a cat. She was hissing at him like a cat.

”Are you a cat?” Aditya seriously asked. Hiss.....!!!

The hissing only became aggressive. Seeing this, Aditya wondered where the calm and dignified Rin had gone. The Rin from their previous meeting always carried herself with an aura of nobility, exuding elegance and refinement in every gesture and word. Seeing Aditya looking at her with a stunned face, Rin calmed herself. Ahem...!!!

Covering her mouth, Rin gently coughed. At the same time, she straightened her posture. She returned to her former self. That Aura of nobility, exuding elegance and refinement in every gesture and movement, returned. ”I am not a Cat. I am a Mighty Proud Dragon, Danna-sama. Please make sure to remember that.” She said in a calm tone. Even though she sounded calm, there was a hint of pride in her tone. Of course, Aditya knew that. He was just teasing her earlier.

Rin was the only one among the seven Goddesses that was a Dragon.

Her entire family was a Dragon. Just like Adityaʼs family, her family has a long and historical Generation of Dragons. Many great Dragon Figures have come from her family. ”Mighty Dragon? Did you mean Half Dragon?”

”So youʼre a Half-Dragon. No wonder why you hiss like a cat.” Aditya nodded while folding his hands as if he had made a great discovery. ”So, does anyone else know about this?” ”But donʼt worry, I wonʼt tell anyone since I am a good person. I donʼt want to tarnish my future wifeʼs reputation.” As he continued speaking, she began trembling. ”Danna-sama...!!” Hearing her cold voice, Adityaʼs body stiffened.

He felt a chill running down his spine. ʼI guess I went too far.....!!ʼ After all, a Dragon was a being of immense pride. ”I hope you will stop joking,” Rin said with a gentle smile. But the Aura around her was anything but gentle. Hearing this, Aditya repeatedly nodded his head. Seeing Aditya looking stiff, Rinʼs serious expression disappeared. She giggled while looking at her husband. ”Hehe!!! I was joking. I can never be angry at you.” ʼThat was scary.ʼ Aditya thought to himself. He was enjoying his time with Rin. He felt very relaxed while talking to her.

When he was with her, he could let his guard down and talk without needing to hold back. Aditya was sure that Rin also felt the same. ʼEnough chit-chat!! Now, itʼs time to get some answers.ʼ Aditya did not know how much time they had left. Their first meeting ended very quickly. But this meeting has lasted longer than their first meeting.

He was worried that if he wasted time, he wonʼt get any answers. Their meeting could end at any given time, so wasting time wasnʼt an option.

”Rin, I have some questions for you. I hope you can answer them.” Aditya seriously looked at Rin. Rin knew that this was going to happen. She was prepared for this moment. Seeing Rin nodding, Aditya started with his first question.

”Rin...!!” He softly called out her name, stirring something in her heart with his softness and gentleness. ”Where are you?” Rin tilted her head, looking at Aditya. ”Hehe!! Thatʼs a silly question. I am with Danna-sama.”

But Aditya saw through her fake smile.

He can tell that this woman is hiding something deep. She may smile and put a fake expression on her face, but her beautiful eyes can never hide any emotions. Aditya came closer to her.

He sat in front of her and said in a serious tone. ”Rin, I donʼt know how much time we have left.”

He gently reached out and held her palm between his palms.

”I am afraid, Rin.” Rin looked at her palm before looking at his face. ”I am afraid that you will disappear just like before.”

”Seeing that painful smile on your face hurts me. Even though I donʼt know why.” He did not know why he felt this way. It was as if something inside him felt very attached to her. ”So please be honest with me.” Aditya wanted to help this woman. ”I....!!” Rin opened her mouth, but no words came out of it. It was because she could not bring herself to utter any words. ʼI want to tell him everything, but I donʼt want to tangle him in my mess. I only have a very short time left to live in this world anyway. I donʼt want to leave my husband hurt and broken because of my mess.ʼ At this moment, Rin Tatsuki was sad and happy, both at the same time. She was happy to see that her husband cared so much about her. Her husband was 1000 times better than she had initially expected. With each passing minute, her impression of her husband only improved from their interaction. The way he called her name in a very gentle and warm tone really touched her heart. The way he seriously stared into her eyes and asked her to share her problems so that he could help her was really touching. She was sad at the same time because it was during her end times that she got to experience all of these things. She was saddened by the fact that she could not stay by his side for much longer. Seeing Rin not speaking, Aditya became concerned. ”Rin....!!” He gently called her out. ”Danna-sama, itʼs better for you to not know.” Hearing this, Aditya frowned. He did not even hide his displeasure. ”Do you not trust me, Rin?” Aditya asked. All he wanted was to help this woman. He was the Dragon Monarch. There is no wall or barrier in this world that can ever stop him from reaching her. Her expression became sad. She gently caressed his right cheek, which she had scratched earlier. She felt slightly regretful of her actions. ”I trust you with my very soul even though I have only known Danna-sama for such a short time.”

”Then why?” Aditya asked with a look of confusion. At the same time, their faces came closer. Just when their faces were just a few inches away from his, she stopped.

”I donʼt have much time to live.”

Hearing this, Aditya became silent. Rin patiently waited for him to speak. One minute passed, but he did not react. ʼWhat!! I must have heard it wrong, right?ʼ

ʼThere is no way this is true.ʼ ʼYes, this has to be it.ʼ About a few minutes later, Aditya finally spoke. ”I am sorry!! I must have mistakenly heard something. Can you please repeat again?”
