Chapter 758:- Shadow Empress [II]

”The name of my class is ʼShadow Empress.ʼ” ”As far as I know, before me, there hasnʼt been a single individual who got this Mythical Class.”

”If you donʼt mind me asking, what does your Shadow Empress class do?” ”Like how it works and what kind of boost you get from this class.” Aditya was extremely curious. Before today, he never even thought or wondered what kind of Class Lilith might possess. This kind of wondering thought just never came to his mind. ʼNow I am curious about what kind of Classes Alicia, Julia, and others possess.ʼ Classes were a very secret thing. In this worldʼs society, it was normal for cultivators to hide their classes. Revealing the names of the classes can reveal their strength, weaknesses, and other things about their classes. In fact, thousands of books were dedicated to explaining the many kinds of classes in the world. The topic of Classes was so secretive that in some places, it was considered perfectly normal for parents not to know their Childrenʼs classes and vice versa. ”Instead of me telling you, I think it would be better if you took a look.” By now, she had worn her panties and bra. It was a black matching pair. Lilith stopped and took out a paper from her storage ring. She handed him the paper. 『Shadow Empress』

After reading the Passive Abilities given by her class, Aditya was left dumbfounded. ʼIn short, the passive Abilities make Lilith stupidly strong.ʼ

ʼEspecially the last one, is just too broken.ʼ Seeing Adityaʼs dumbfounded reaction, Lilith couldnʼt help but smirk in satisfaction. ”Are you surprised?”

”Surprised? More like shocked beyond what words can explain.”

”Hehe...!!!” ”Itʼs because of my Shadow Empress class that I was able to survive so many dangerous and narrow fights. The Passive abilities of my class are my secret weapon.” ”Yeah, especially the Last one. Dark Harvest is just too strong.” ”You can just target anyone below Peak 5th-order to get 1000 critical Strikes. Once the Dark Harvest is triggered, youʼre practically unstoppable on the battlefield. And if you combine it with Dark Pact, I doubt even a group of 10 Peak 5th-order Mages would be able to land a single hit on you.”

Assassins are considered nightmares for Mages. Mages rely on spells to hit the Target, while Assassins rely on speed, lethal, and precise strikes to attack the enemy. Mages would rather face Body Cultivators than face assassins. ”Hehe!! I have used Dark Pact and Dark Harvest only once, and that was also when an army surrounded me in my young days.”

”That lead to that fight?” Aditya curiously. ”Well, it was this incident that made me wear a veil to hide my face. Before that, I never hid my face since I was really proud of how I looked.” ”It was a Duke of one Kingdom that shortly fell after our battle.” ”Actually, this story is also the reason why I decided to create the Black Lotus.” ”It was during the time when I was about to reach ʼPeak 5th-order Realmʼ. Around this time, I was staying in a small Kingdom in the Beast Continent. It was a human-dominated Kingdom, which was a very rare thing in a continent that Beast-man runs.” ”I donʼt remember the name of this Kingdom.” ”I was staying in the Capital of this Kingdom for a few years now. Mind you, before that point, I was a wandering cultivator. I slept wherever I pleased. I went whichever direction that I found the most pleasing to the eyes.”

”Ah...!! I kind of miss those days.” Lilith did whatever she pleased. She wasnʼt afraid of anybody since, being a Mid-5th-order, no one wanted to pick a fight with her. At that time, she was 113 years of age. ”The reason I stopped there is because I felt that I was going to reach the Peak of the 5th-order Realm very soon. So I decided to stop wandering around and focus completely on cultivation temporarily.”

”But I underestimated how much time it would take me to reach the Peak 5th-order Realm.” ”I did not completely isolate myself from the rest of the world. Every few weeks, I kept sending letters to my clan. Even though my parents died just when I was born, the clan still treasured me. I wasnʼt ungrateful. I also loved and cared for my clan. We kept in contact even though I was traveling around the Six Continents.” ”Another reason why I kept in touch with my clan is so that if my clan was in danger, I could immediately return home and help my people. After all, being focused heavily on assassination and earning their livelihood through contracts meant that enemies were the last thing that we lacked.” Aditya noted his head in understanding.

”So the Human Kingdom that I was staying in was kind of unique due to its special political structure.”

”The king of the kingdom was just a 3rd-order. I am not sure in which realm of third order he was in. Since I never really paid attention to any of these things even though I stayed in the capital for like 2 1/2 years.”

”The human kingdom had a Duke, who was really talented in cultivation and had managed to reach Mid-5th-order After 208 years of intense cultivation.” Lilith learned this once the Duke had successfully managed to annoy her.

”Trusting the Duke to be the future leading figure and pillar kingdom, the King poured tons of cultivation resources just to make sure the Duke reached Peak 5th-Order.”

”The Duke married the first daughter of the king and also had a very close connection with the crown prince of the kingdom.”

”On the surface, everything was looking great for the kingdom.”

”But later, I learned that, through the princess and the crown prince, The Duke was secretly controlling the entire royal family. Even the King was no exception. The Crown Prince was nothing but a puppet in the hands of the Duke.”

”Later, I come to learn that secretly, for over a century, the kingdom under the lead of the Duke has been trying to build a special Division known as the Red Assassins of Dunes.”

”I came into the picture when one day, I happened to meet the Duke. More like the Duke saw me from his carriage.”

”I was walking on the side of the road, and he happened to see me from his carriage window.”

”He claimed that he instantly fell in love with me. He used everything in his power to find out more about me and where I was living in the capital. As all of this was happening, I wasnʼt aware of anything. My focus was still on cultivating. Around that time, I was super close to reaching the Peak. I clearly remember that I was just a few dayʼs worth of cultivation away from reaching the peak.”

”Two days later, I had an unexpected visitor in my Mansion. It was the Duke.”

”The first thing that he did was to extend his hand for a handshake, but I refused since I could not come in contact with men.”

”This really angered him. I guess he felt humiliated.” Lilith chuckled, thinking of that manʼs ugly face.

”Then he straight up asked for my hand in marriage, which left me dumbfounded.”

”Long story short, when I refused him, in anger, he attacked me, and we had a big battle which totally destroyed my house. The outcome of the battle was the Duke left being seriously injured.”

”Why didnʼt you kill him?” Aditya asked. If he was in Lilithʼs position, then his corpse would have been carried out of his house.

”I wasnʼt in the mood. Besides, I did not see the point of killing him. Since then, I used to think that the Duke was the final and the strongest pillar upholding this human kingdom. And after a few years of staying here, I did not want this kingdom to fall.”

”For the next few days, nothing really happened, but my strength was exposed to everyone in the capital, and I was getting a lot of unwanted attention. On the fourth day, after finally reaching the peak 5th order Realm, I decided to leave this human kingdom and return back to my clan before deciding what I wanted to do with my life now that my cultivation goal was fulfilled.”

”But just when I reached the border of the kingdom, I was ambushed.”

”The Duke brought all the powerhouse of the kingdom, including the Red Assassin of the Dunes. This also marked the first and last time in its history that the Red Assassin of the Dunes was ever used by the kingdom.”

”While doing all of this, the Duke exposed his evil character to the whole kingdom, but he did not care. At that point, his mind was only filled with the thought of obtaining me.”

”Like a priced Treasure?”

”Yeah!! Exactly!!”

” The outcome of the battle was in my favor. Even though I was injured, I managed to wipe out the Duke and the rest of the Human Kingdomʼs army.”
