Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 770:- Entering Stardawn

The Moon Rock island is kilometers big. Itʼs a little island. The island has a population of about 29,510. But the island is very densely packed. Itʼs because of the hundreds of thousands of cultivators and ordinary people who come to this island to use the portal. Every day, millions use the portal. The portal is the only door in the whole world connecting this world to the realm of Stardawn.

The portal is the lifeline of this island. The natives of this island survive by offering various services to the cultivators and people who come here.

The Moon Rock Island is not under the control of any Kingdom, Empire, faction, or Sect. Whenever any Kingdom or Empire tries to take the island under their control, bad luck falls upon that Kingdom or Empire. In some cases, the seven Clans in Stardawn close the portal. This is an act of protest done by the people of the seven clans of Stardawn. Once the portal is closed, the whole island loses its value. And this whole island becomes an ordinary island.

In the present day, Moon Rock Island has maintained its independence due to various reasons. Almost all big Factions, Kingdoms, Sections, and Empire on the Main Continent agree that Moon Rock Island should always remain independent. If anyone controls this island, then the party will be able to control who gets to use the portal. This is something that even the Seven Clans do not like and are opposed to.

Hence, this island is treated as a neutral ground where every faction and Sectʼs members can freely enter and exit.

As for the right to enter and exit the Stardawn, it is the Seven Clans that get to decide that.

The Seven Clans within the Stardawn are the real powerholders of this island. They also get to decide when to open and close the portal.

If the Stardawn wasnʼt lacking in resources, then central powers from the Main Continent wouldnʼt have let the Seven Clans have this much power. This would also have been the case if the rest of the world hadnʼt lacked resources.

But that didnʼt mean that no powerhouse from the Main Continent was interested in replacing the Seven Clans in Stardawn. But they never have been able to conquer any of the Seven Clans because of the restrictions imposed by the Stardawn law on cultivatorʼs cultivation level. In recent centuries, the main powers of the Main Continent have imposed a rule. According to the Rule, no powerhouse from the Main Continent is allowed to expand its territories in Stardawn. This rule was made to please the Seven Clans. Also, the Seven Clans had some strong connections with powerhouses in the Main Continent.

Even though, the Stardawn is severely lacking in cultivation resources when compared to the Main Continent, this place still had some uses.

The politics and the history surrounding Moon Rock Island are very long and complex. From the beginning, the factions from the Main Continent have been heavily involved with this little island. Due to this heavy Involvement, no Six Continent powerhouse has ever dared to come near Moon Rock Island. Historically, every big powerhouse from each of the six continents has maintained its distance from this island.

ʼThis wonʼt be the case with the Istarin Empire.ʼ Aditya thought as he landed at the dock of the island.

There was a rule that cultivators could not just land anywhere they wished. There were specifically designed spots for cultivators to land on.

Like him, many others just landed. The whole place was so crowded that he had to force his way out of the crowd. After just walking 100 meters, he saw 100 guards. The guards were telling all the cultivators and the ordinary people to form two lines. One line was for the ordinary people, and the other was for the cultivators.

In the beginning, Aditya was at the very back of the line.

ʼThis line is too big.ʼ This line easily stretches 3 to 4 kilometers long.

ʼAt this rate, it would take me hours.ʼ Aditya began looking around until he saw a few cultivators giving gold coins to the cultivators. These cultivators were taken out of the line by the cultivators.

ʼI guess money works everywhere.ʼ

”Excuse me!!”

”What do you want?” The guard was very rude. It looked like he didnʼt want to waste his time talking to him.

”I want to use the VIP service.”

Hearing this, the cultivatorʼs eyes lit up. ”You would need to pay 100,000 royal gold coins.”

After filling a small storage ring with 100,000 royal gold coins, he gently tossed it to the guards.

”Check the amount!!”

The guard checked the amount by pouring his Mana into the ring. After confirming the amount, he nodded.

”Sir, please come with me.” This time, his tone and attitude were very respectful. Seeing this, Aditya rolled his eyes and followed the guard.

He could see the massive thing even when he was 1 kilometer away from the portal. The portal was as big as a five-story building.

”Itʼs huge!! I canʼt imagine the amount of Mana required to keep this portal open all of the time.”

”The portal uses the mana of the surroundings. If needed, the size of the portal can be increased even further using Mana Stones.”

”Though, the size of the portal entirely depends on the Seven Clans in Stardawn.” In fact, to some extent, this whole island was also indirectly controlled by the Seven Clans. No one ever did anything about it. Since the Seven Clans entirely controlled the portal.

”What if someone very important is coming?” Aditya curiously asked.

”If any king, crown prince, princess, sect leader, or anyone in a very high position wishes to use the portal, they must first inform the Seven Clans. After receiving their approval, the entire portal will be cleared for that important person.”

”Do the Kings and Emperors from the Six Continents receive this treatment?” Aditya couldnʼt help but curiously asked.

”No!! In the eyes of the Stardawnʼs Seven Clans, the Kings and Emperors from the Six Continents arenʼt that important. They will receive the same treatment as ordinary cultivators.”

”But there is an exception.” Hearing this, he raised his eyebrow.

”Who is this exception?”

”Itʼs the Dragon Monarch.”

”After all the accomplishments and the power that the Dragon Monarch has shown, even the Seven Clans of the Stardawn has to take the Monarch very seriously.”

”Especially after his dominance in the race to get the Dragon Grass and after defeating the 9-headed Hydra while protecting his Empire, no one dares to take the Dragon Monarch lightly.”

”Not to mention the fact that this bastard is engaged to not one, not two, but three of the Seven Goddesses.” The guard sounded very jealous. ”Why canʼt I have even 1% of his luck?” In the end, he began complaining without even realizing that he was talking to the Dragon Monarch himself. ”Rumor has it that even the Goddess of Lust is also engaged to him.” This rumor began circulating after people saw three women by his side during the race to get the Dragon Grass. Two of the women were hiding their faces using veils. This leads some to suspect that one of these veiled women must be the Goddess of Lust. ”Well, that rumor may not be true,” Aditya said while looking in another direction. ”No, I believe in this rumor.” The guard strongly insisted. ”Why?” Aditya couldnʼt help but ask, feeling curious. ”Because this Dragon Monarch is a Goddess-attracting magnet.” Hearing this, Aditya was left speechless. ʼNow that I think about it, this might be true.ʼ Since he was born, his life has been closely tangled with the Seven Goddesses even though he hadnʼt met any of them. Even now, he was heading to the Stardawn to save a Goddess. ”Well, I canʼt argue with that,” Aditya murmured in a low tone. ”Besides, I strongly suspected that this Dragon Monarch is on a mission to marry all Seven Goddesses, something that the exiled Crown Prince of The Celestial Dragon Empire couldnʼt achieve.” ”Even though they share the same name, both Aditya are completely different. One rose from Ashes and now is known as the Dragon Monarch. While others fell from Heaven and became a nobody.” Everyone knew that the exiled prince was trash. He did not awaken his Dragon Bloodline. His cultivation talent was average, or maybe even worse than that. He did not have anything special to offer. Hearing this, instead of feeling anger or any other negative emotion, he just smirked. ʼYour words are true. But the last line should come first. Yes, I fell from Heaven. But I was able to rise to a position that is equal, if not higher. From there, I fell.ʼ

ʼUnlike before, I have earned all of this with my own hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and pain.ʼ

ʼI donʼt need the Celestial Dragon Empire. If anything, in the future, it would be the Celestial Dragon Empire who will need me.ʼ While talking to the guard, they arrived in front of the massive portal. The circular sides of the portal were glowing in a bluish energy. While what was within the circle was a white void. It was impossible to see beyond the white. The whole portal looked like one giant round eye; the bordering lines were glowing in bluish energy while the rest was in white but was still glowing.

As he stood in front of the portal, he was able to feel the strong pressure coming from the portal. ʼI wonder who built this portal.ʼ Even a powered attack from a Peak 5th-order cultivator might not be enough to make this portal collapse. ”James, youʼre here with another one.” Another guard approached the guards named James and Aditya. ”You go come with him. My work is done. It was a pleasure doing business with you.” With that, James turned around and left. ”This is your first time entering Stardawn.” Asked the new guard. He just nodded. ”Alright!! Do you know the laws of Stardawn?” ”I know everything!!” ”So youʼre not a total beginner in this. That makes things a lot easier and saves a lot of time.” ”If you need to pay 1,000 royal gold coins to enter the Stardawn world.” The guard took out a jade token. The token had mysterious runes carved into it. Aditya can easily understand the runes on this token. ʼThis token isnʼt about keeping a trace of the outsiders in Stardawn. This token only has one function.ʼ ”You will receive this jade Taken after paying. Once you have entered Stardawn, you must keep this Jade token with you all the time. This Jade Token will keep track of the number of days that you have spent in Stardawn.” ”When it is time for you to exit Stardawn, the guards on the other side will take the Jade Token. The Jade Token will tell us the accurate number of days that you have spent inside Stardawn.” ”After that, you would need to pay an amount before being allowed to exit Stardawn. The amount you would need to pay will depend on the number of days that you will be spending here. Additionally, if youʼre taking any resources of Stardawn with you, then you would need to pay tariff on that.”

”Do you have any doubts?” The guard asked Aditya. ”Nope!!” After paying the amount, Aditya took out another 100,000 Royal gold coins. He put the amount in a leather pouch and put the pouch in his backpack, which he was carrying with him.

”Alright!! Now, we will need to search your things to make sure youʼre not bringing anything unexpected or suspicious in Stardawn.” Two guards took him to a room nearby. The process went smoothly. The whole process lasted for about 2 to 3 minutes. Once they were done, Aditya was allowed to enter with the Jade Token.
