Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 760:- Victoria and Amber

Early in the morning, all seven Generals of the Istarin Empire were summoned to the empty part of the Inner Court.

Amber was the first one to arrive.

”It seems I arrived too early,” Amber murmured to herself.

Meanwhile, a very tall woman entered the inner court of the Dragon Palace.

”This place has changed a lot.” She was very impressed by the changes in the Dragon Palace.

Shortly after she entered the inner court, she noticed a familiar presence.

”General Amber, can I have a word with you?” Hearing this, Amber turned around to see a giant woman.

In fact, the woman was so tall that Amber felt like a child before her.

The woman had a very wild aura around her. She had tan skin and black hair that she tied into a ponytail. Despite being a human woman, her body was really muscular. But those muscles did not reduce her feminine beauty in any way. Rather, those muscles were well-balanced and made her look sexy.

”Victoria…?” Of course, who didnʼt know the most powerful Dragonian? Victoria is known by the Imperial Troops for many reasons.

She was the first to defeat the Dragon Monarch in battle, albeit with the help of powerful artifacts. The artifacts allowed her to redirect all the damage that she took from Adityaʼs attacks back to Aditya, which is the reason why she was able to defeat him. But it was still impressive that she managed to defeat the Emperor.

Even before becoming a Dragonian, she was too strong. At that time, she could have single-handedly defeated all the generals. Even if all the Generals joined their powers to fight her, she would still defeat them. And now, the only one among the Generals that came close to her strength was General Amber.

Victoria had dark brown eyes. The dress she wore was very bold.

The dress she wore revealed most of her skin and highlighted her curves, making her even more seductive. She had big breasts and a round ass. Bandages were wrapped around her big chest. Her stomach and abs were left exposed. And she wore tight-fitting black leather pants, with black gloves covering her palms.

Her seductive body made one doubt if she was really human.

Not only was she tall like a beast-woman, but she was also very sexy and seductive. It was as if she were half-Succubus and half-beast-woman.

In terms of beauty, she did not lose when compared to Amber. If Amber looked refined and noble, Victoria was the complete opposite. She was wild and unrefined.

Victoria stood before General Amber. Her tall frame cast a shadow over the smaller woman. Despite her powerful presence and commanding aura, she seemed hesitant, shifting her weight from one foot to the other as if unsure of how to proceed.

”Greetings to General Amber!” she blurted out. Her voice was a bit too loud.

There was a brief and uncomfortable pause as Victoriaʼs brow furrowed slightly, realizing she might have come off too stiff.

Seeing this, Amber chuckled. She knew that Victoria wasnʼt good at social interaction, so she did not mind. ”Victoria, there is no need to be so formal with me. Please just call me by my name.”

Hearing this, Victoria nodded with a small smile.

She preferred it this way.

Formality was very annoying because it was difficult to tell if she had made a mistake.

”I see that you have returned.” Victoria was a member of the 7th Division. Although she was officially under General Henry, His Majesty ordered her most of the time. And when she wasnʼt busy with any missions, she spent all of her time training.

During this war, Victoria was sent to the Beast Continent. There was a minor conflict at one of the borders. She was sent there to resolve the conflict while representing the will of the Emperor.

”What are you doing here?” Victoria wasnʼt expecting to see Amber here.

Victoria returned a few days earlier than expected since she heard that the Dragon Palace had gone through huge changes. She managed to finish her mission just yesterday. After spending the night on the Beast Continent, she returned here as soon as possible.

”All the Generals have been summoned here for some kind of demonstration.”

”Does that mean His Majesty is going to be here?” Victoria asked, sounding and looking excited. It had been a while since she last saw His Majesty.

Seeing her this excited, Amber was surprised but still nodded.

Amber then remembered that Victoria was the woman who proudly claimed that she would marry Aditya one day. She declared the Emperor to be her future mate.

Although at first Amber refused to believe in such rumors, later she had seen it with her own eyes. Even the way Victoria became excited when talking about His Majesty was evidence of her feelings toward the Emperor.

”Yes! The orders of His Majesty summoned us,” Amber replied after taking a deep breath.

For some reason, Amber felt slightly uncomfortable. She felt uncomfortable not because of the fact that Victoria loved Aditya, but because she couldnʼt be open and clear about her feelings like Victoria. Victoria was a straightforward woman. She said whatever she had on her mind, but compared to her, Amber was very different.

ʼVictoria is much better than me. At least she is open about her feelings, unlike me.ʼ Amber could never bring herself to be as honest as Victoria.

Knowing that Aditya would come here, Victoria planned to wait there.

For a few minutes, neither of them said anything.

Victoria looked at Amber for some time. Amber could see that she was hesitating.

”Do you want to say something?” Amber finally asked.

”If you donʼt mind, would you fight me?” Victoria was a battle maniac. She loved fighting. And after sensing that Amber was quite strong, she wanted to fight Amber and see just how powerful this General was.

”Sure, I donʼt mind. But not right now. Letʼs fight later.” Victoria nodded.

After a while, others began arriving one after another.

”Do you have any idea why we were summoned here?” Josh approached Amber and asked. Compared to Amber, Josh was like a beast because of his tall, muscular body. Being a Beast-man, he was really tall and muscularly built.

However, Amber wasnʼt intimidated by his appearance. She was the first and only 5th-order cultivator among all seven Generals of the Istarin Empire.

Everyone was standing in the empty part of the Inner Court. Some were chatting with each other.

While some loners like Henry, Nathan, and Eleanor were standing alone without talking to anybody.

Henry was a very cold man. He was always very serious. Despite being human, his strength was on par with Beast-man Josh, who was a Lion-man. The General of the 7th Division used very harsh and cruel methods to train the troops in his division.

Nathan always wore a half-face mask. His hair also covered one of his eyes. Nathan looked like a character from an anime that Aditya had heard of once or twice in his previous life. The difference between them was that Nathan was way shorter than that character.

The Leader of the Shadow Guardians wasnʼt much of a talker.

Similarly, Captain Eleanor was also introverted.

When Josh approached Amber, Henry, Nathan, and Eleanor were pretty much staring in their direction.

”General, although I am not 100% sure, I have heard something will be tested. If everything is successful, it will be implemented in the Imperial Troops.” It was just a rumor that Amber heard from one of her subordinates.

”I see… Then why have we been summoned here? I see no reason for us to be here.” Josh was the loudest in the group but also had the least intelligence.

”You meat-eating idiot, as the Captain of your division, itʼs your responsibility to be here.” It was Scott who said that. Only Scott would say something like this to Josh.

”What did you call me?” As expected, Josh was immediately enraged.

”What? Did I say anything wrong?” Scott asked with a smirk.

”If you want to leave, fine by me. But be prepared to be punished by His Majesty.” Hearing this, Josh instantly calmed down.

The reason Josh was so annoyed was that he was in the middle of having his breakfast when he was summoned here. However, as soon as Scott mentioned the Emperor, Josh immediately became tamed.

”Thatʼs right! Be a good boy and stand there,” Scott mockingly said to Josh.

”I thought standing still was your job,” Josh retorted since archers need to stand still when shooting arrows.

”You…!” Scott was about to counter when they saw Aditya and Spencer approaching.

Aditya was surprised to see Victoria among the Generals.

”Greetings to the Emperor!” Everyone greeted the Emperor.

Among everyone, Victoria looked happiest to see Aditya.

She could hardly control her excitement. She wanted Aditya to look at her.

And he did. When he looked at her, Victoria nearly melted. She knew that she must have had a silly grin on her face, but she couldnʼt control it. She was just so happy to see her mate after such a long time.

”Victoria, when did you return?” he asked her in a gentle tone.

General Henry also wanted to ask the same question, but his mind was occupied with other thoughts, so he did not speak to anyone.

”How is the situation on the Beast Continent?”

”Everything went smoothly. There is no problem. I have taken care of the flies.”

”Good! I will reward you for your hard work, but that will have to come later.” Victoria nodded her head.

”Everyone, I have summoned you all here because I want to show you a new possibility.”

”I want to improve the quality of the Imperial Troops. The Istarin Empireʼs troops should be the best of the best out there.”

”This is why I want to introduce Magic Mounts to the Imperial Troops.” Right now, the Istarin Empire has two types of Magic Mounts. One is the White Horse, and the second is the Roc bird.

Aditya had obtained the eggs of the Roc Bird. Since then, he has been raising Roc birds.

”Spencer, show them!” Everyone waited for a few seconds until a white horse appeared flying above them.

Next to the white horse, there was a massive bird. On the back of the bird, there were five Imperial Troops.

”This is the White Horse and the Roc bird.”

”The White Horse can move extremely fast but is bad at fighting. But the White Horses take less money and resources to breed and maintain.”

”But the Roc Birds are really powerful. In addition to having the capacity to carry close to four or five soldiers simultaneously, it can also attack and defend. And Roc Birds are more costly to maintain and breed.”

”The Imperial Troops with Magic Mounts can attack from the sky.”

”Your Majesty, itʼs not a bad idea. But it will take a while for our divisionʼs troops to get used to riding and fighting from Magic Mounts.” Hearing this, Aditya nodded. This was just the beginning. He knew these types of things would take time.

”Let me make another announcement while I am here.”

”I plan to fully integrate Flying Ships into the Imperial Troops. The Istarin Military will use the latest generation of Flying Ships.”

”And operating the Flying Ships is really easy and simple. Anyone with a few days or two of practice can drive the Flying Ships.” Next, he began telling them what he wanted from the Seven Generals. What he needed them to do to smoothly integrate these two things into the Imperial Troops. It wasnʼt completely mandatory for each Division Captain to adapt to these things, but it would be more useful if they could. ----------------
