Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 785:- Rare Bloodline Awakening Research

Stardawn, Pocket Dimension World, ”Sir, can I take the day off? I want to head home and take some rest.” One of his subordinates pleaded to Doctor Daniel.

Doctor Daniel smiled at his subordinate. His smile was very kind. To his subordinateʼs eyes, Doctor Danielʼs smile looked very bright and warm. He wasnʼt sure if he was seeing things because of exhaustion or if it was real. He could see a golden aura emanating from Doctor Danielʼs back when he smiled. It was like the sun was behind Doctor Daniel. ʼItʼs too bright.....!!ʼ He felt like his eyes would go blind from this radiating warm Aura from Doctor Daniel. ”Sure!!” The first part made him feel like he was in heaven. With a happy expression, he grabbed his bag and was about to walk towards the entrance. But just as he had taken a step, the rest of the Doctorʼs sentence came out. ”As long as youʼre not interested in living anymore.” Hearing this, his entire body froze. While previously, there was an intense warm Aura like the sun radiating from his body, but now it was the opposite. He felt very cold all of a sudden. But for some reason, he was sweating. While trembling, he turned around and looked at the doctor with an awkward smile. Although Doctor Daniel was still smiling at him, the Aura from his body wasnʼt warm. It was extremely bone-chilling. When he looked behind the doctor, it was as if countless. Creepy faces with creepy smiles were staring at him. Gulp!!!

”What were you saying, Seth?” Doctor Daniel asked with a nice smile. But nothing about it looked nice. ”I mean......!!” Seth quickly wiped the sweat from his face. ”I am sweating from how cold it is.” ”I hate sweating. I think itʼs better if I stay here. I donʼt want to swim in my own sweat.” Seth nodded at his own words with a very serious expression. ”Then, get your candy ass back to work.” Sethʼs face turned pale. He dropped his bag and went to help others. When he joined his subordinates, everyone was glaring at him. ”What? Did I do something wrong?” Sometimes, even silence can be very loud. This was what Seth was experiencing at this moment. The glares from everyone was enough. Doctor Daniel was also about to go back to work when the communication artifact started glowing. ”You guys continue working. I will talk to Boss.”

[Boss, is there anything you need from us?] - Doctor Daniel asked. It was very rare for the Boss to take the initiative to talk to him. He wouldnʼt use the communication artifact unless it was very important. [Grandmaster Pink has been killed. Whatʼs more, he was killed in his own City and in his own Mansion.]

[What?] - Doctor Daniel was shocked. Everyone knew the guy who was obsessed with Pink colors. Although the guy wasnʼt from their organization, at some point, he was indirectly involved with them, even though he wasnʼt aware of it. This is why Doctor Daniel was so shocked. Just hearing the news made Doctor Danielʼs blood run blood. A sense of fear washed over him. [Boss, can you please tell me more details?] - Doctor Daniel asked in a shaky tone. [It happened yesterday.]

[A man wearing a white mask suddenly appeared. He started slaughtering all of Pinkʼs guards before destroying Pinkʼs cultivation. It seems this wasnʼt enough for him. So he also severed his head and destroyed the city Lordʼs Mansion.] [This...] - Doctor Daniel nervously rubbed his forehead. [Although I am not 100% sure, I have a strong suspicion that this person is likely the one that the Princess has been seeing in the Spiritual World.] - It wasnʼt just the Boss who felt this way. Even he felt that this might be the case. [Before that, call the two guards responsible for watching over the Princess. Ask them if they have recently told her about Grandmaster Pink.] - The Boss wanted to confirm his suspicion. [I will be waiting.] After a moment, it was just as they had suspected. [Boss, in that case, we should really consider my previous suggestion. We can bait the target to our trap and end him once and for all.] - Doctor Daniel sounded very nervous and also very serious. This whole thing had deeply shaken him. But the boss was thinking of something else. [Daniel, I have a feeling that she must have told him about the few people that she met when she first came here. You know exactly whom I am talking about, donʼt you?] While taking long breaths to calm himself, Daniel nodded his head. [Yes!! Itʼs my mentor, Professor Ryan.]

It was no secret that Professor Ryan had interacted the most with the Princess aside from the two guards. [All of them have stopped working on this project.] - There were many who were kicked out of this project. [It was because they were incompetent.] - The Boss replied. [Boss, that means this white-masked Manʼs next target is Professor Ryan.] - Daniel didnʼt need to point this out. The Boss also guessed this. [Itʼs alright!! I have sent some of my men to take care of the matter.] [But sir….] - Doctor did not want his mentor to die like this. [They were incompetent. Killing trash wonʼt hurt us anyway.] - The Boss was very cold. He was determined to keep themselves hidden till the very end. Daniel did not see the Doctor as incompetent. He was his mentor. Without his guidance, Daniel wouldnʼt have reached this level today. But in the end, this was for their survival and safety. So Daniel did not complain even though he did not want the Professor to die like this. [Another thing, recently I have been very curious about the Dragon Monarch.]

[The Dragon Monarch said to have awakened the Divine Dragon Bloodline just like the Princess.] - Doctor Daniel was also very interested in Aditya. If possible, he would love to experiment on his body. That way, he would be able to deepen his understanding of how Rare Bloodline Awakening worked. [Daniel, are you interested in experimenting on his body?] - The Bossʼs statement shocked Daniel. [Boss, letʼs forget about it. He is the strongest cultivator in the Six Continents. Clashing against him would only result in our loss.]

[Nope! I have other plans.] [By the way, how is Item number 00785 doing?] - Hearing this, Daniel widened his eyes. [Boss, you canʼt be planning to....!!]

[I heard that the Dune Sovereignty Empire really hates Aditya. Maybe they will be interested in working with us.]

[I am coming to the facility. Wake him up. Itʼs time for him to emerge.] - With that, the Boss cut their communication. Daniel sighed out loud. Big things were coming. With Item number 00785 awakened, it would be a matter of time before the world learns of its capabilities. •••

In the morning, Aditya approached Lady Eleanor. After completing his Mission last night, Aditya reutnred to the Mansion as he had nothing else to do other than wait for the news that she had finally found this man named Professor Ryan. Aditya was given his own bedroom to rest. But Aditya could not fall asleep. So he decided to stay awake. In his room, he was working on his Runes.

Whenever he worked on his runes, he felt time always flew by because he got absorbed into making runes and didnʼt notice how fast time passed.

Knock!! Knock!!

”You can come in!!” By the time, she entered his bedroom, he had put everything in his bag. Lin, Lady Eleanorʼs secretary and her most trusted subordinate, approached Aditya. ”Your Majesty, I thought you would be sleeping right now.” Lin opened the windows of his room. ”I couldnʼt fall asleep since I returned so late last night.” Last night, Aditya had followed the disciplines of the Night Rider Sect for a while to see where disciplines were going. If they decided to return to this city at some point, Aditya planned to kill them. If they killed them all and burned their bodies to ashes, then no one would know who killed them or where their bodies were. The Sect might never even know that their disciplines had died. They might assumed that their disciplines had gone missing. ”Where is Miss Eleanor?” Aditya asked. ”I was sent here by Lady Eleanor. She wants you to join her for breakfast.” Aditya nodded. He simply got up and then took a long shower. After making sure that his disguise was perfect, he came out of his bedroom. •••

”Did you find anything?” Aditya asked while eating. ”My team was able to narrow down our search to 106 potential suspects. It shouldnʼt take my men long to find the location of the man Your Majesty is looking for.”

”Miss Eleanor, last night, you said that I would need to help you get a treasure. Would you mind sharing a little bit more details as to where we will be going?” ”Your Majesty, let me keep this a secret for now. It would ruin all the fun if I told you everything. But I can assure you that as long as you can Peak 4th-order, you will be unstoppable in that world.”

”Itʼs another Pocket Dimension Word like this one?” Aditya read between her words and guessed. ”I guess I said something that I shouldnʼt have.” Lady Eleanor laughed while covering her mouth. She was in a very happy mood since last night. Recently, she has been worried if she will be able to make the Emperor agree to go on a treasure hunt with her. But unexpectedly, the Emperor came herself. This has lifted a huge weight from her shoulders. ”I was thinking of approaching Your Majesty once you have reached Peak 4th-order. But after witnessing your battle against the 9-headed Hydra, I can very confidently say that even at your current level, you can pretty much deal with any danger in that world. ”Your Majesty, I would love to go on a treasure hunt now. But I know youʼre busy.?” She could tell that he was here for something. She tried to ask him why he wanted Professor Ryan since when she indirectly tried asking, he gave her almost no details. She was smart enough to understand that the Emperor prefers not to talk about this. So she kept her distance. Aditya nodded. ”Maybe after I am done here, I can find some time for this treasure hunt that Miss Eleanor keeps talking about.” Aditya continued spending his time in her Mansion. Lady Eleanor gave him permission to stay in her Mansion for as long as he wanted. Aditya stayed in his bedroom and kept working on his runes. Without even realizing it, the whole day had passed. Aditya was expecting to meet Rin again, but he wasnʼt summoned to the spiritual world. When he woke up at dawn, Lin came to his room to let him know that they had found his target. He was staying in a city that wasnʼt so far from here. ”In that case, I will take my leave immediately.” Aditya did not even wait for Lin to say anything in response. Watching him fly away, Lin slightly pouted. She wanted to invite him to stay and have breakfast with Lady Eleanor. But it seems he is in a hurry. ʼWhatever!! I should let Lady Eleanor know about this.ʼ

ʼThough, I am very curious what could have made the Emperor personally come to Stardawn in disguise. It must be something extremely valuable to him.ʼ
