Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 765:- Days Before Departure [I]

”Your Majesty, the Istarin Emipre currently has 50,000 Dragonians along with 10,000 Dragon warriors. The number of Dragonians and Dragon Warriors is always changing, so currently, the real number may be slightly higher than that. But the point is, we need to come up with a new rotation plan for all the Dragonians and Dragon warriors.” Previously, due to the lack of cultivation space in the Dragon Palace, the Dragonians and the Dragon warriors had to take a long time before they got their turn to cultivate. But now it was different. Just the outer court of the Dragon Palace could allow up to 26,000 Dragonians and Dragon warriors to live and cultivate without overcrowding. If needed, this number can be pushed to 30,000 by using available spaces in other facilities. The number could be further pushed to 40,000 if 90% of the free space in the inner court is allowed to be used. Of course, Aditya would never allow for that to happen. The empty spaces of the inner court will be used for other purposes. But that is for later. With such massive capacity, more Dragonians and Dragon warriors will get the chance to cultivate in the Dragon Palace. Hearing Spencerʼs words, Aditya seriously began to think of a solution. This matter cannot be left unattended for too long. A mix of 26,000 Dragonians and Dragon warriors are already occupying the available residence in the outer court. At the same time, a mix of 30,000 Dragonians and Dragon Warriors are waiting eagerly for their turn to come. It wasnʼt wise to make them wait too long.  A new rotation system for everyone had to be introduced. ”I think we need to hire someone to manage this whole rotation system on a personal level.” That was the first thought that came to his mind. Before the Dragon Palace upgraded, this used to be Spencerʼs responsibility. But now, due to the grown size and number of Dragonians, it would be too much work for Spencer, who also had a ton of other things to do. ”I agree!!” Within a second, Spencer agreed.

In fact, he has been wanting to suggest this. Fortunately, Aditya also understood just how overwhelmed Spencer already was with work. There was no need to add extra burden to his shoulders. Seeing Aditya looking at him, Spencer awkwardly coughed before changing the subject. ”Your Majesty, do you have anyone in mind?” Aditya shook his head. Aditya first thought of Luna as a potential candidate since she mostly stayed in the Academy and didnʼt do any work. But remembering that she was in charge of Amberʼs training, he gave up the idea. ʼBesides, I am sure she will refuse me. She doesnʼt seem like the type who would enjoy this kind of task.ʼ

ʼEven if she did accept the job, she would be too busy with her job to have enough time to train Amber.ʼ Till now, Aditya did not know anything about their training schedule. He just left Amber with Luna. ʼAmber is one of the most potential and valuable assets of the Istarin Empire. Using the word ʼassetʼ doesnʼt seem right.ʼ ʼAlong with Victoria, Amber will definitely become one of the most important future pillars of the Istarin Empire. Amber has proven her abilities as the General on the battlefield and in leading her division to become the strongest. The 5th division is already the strongest division among the seven.ʼ Aditya did not mind investing heavily in Amber. She is someone whom he can rely on.

ʼNow that I think about it, the Istarin Empire currently has many 5th-order cultivators.ʼ ʼAmber is already 5th-order. There is the strongest Dragonian, Victoria. Then there are dragon warriors like Greenwood, who is the guardian of the Dragon Palace, Trevor Prince, and a few others.ʼ Aditya did not add Riya, Sasha, and Lilith to this list. They were his women. So, their position was different (special) from others. ʼNathan and other generals should reach Beginner 5th-order in a few more months.ʼ Knowing all of this, Aditya felt very happy. The strength of the Istarin Empire is rapidly rising. With every passing day, the strength of the Empire was growing.  ʼOh...no!! It looks like I am getting distracted.ʼ ”I donʼt have anyone in mind!! We will just need to find someone capable of doing this job through Alicia or her best friend, Sylvie. They might have a few candidates to recommend. If that also falls, then you will need to interview thousands of people.” Aditya said in a lazy tone while tapping the table with his index finger. ”Hey!! Wait a minute!! Why are you making me do this?” Since they were close, it was all right for Spencer to talk to Aditya like that. In fact, this kind of conversation was rather refreshing to the Emperor. Spencer might be his only male best friend in the world. Their relationship was really close. Spencer always insisted on being formal with Aditya. ”What do you mean? Without you, who else is going to do this?” Aditya asked in an innocent tone. ”What about you? What are you going to do while I interview thousands of people?”

”You really should have some mercy on this poor soul. I just got married. Because of this new task, I wonʼt be able to spend any time with Aria for days, if not a few weeks.” Saying that, Spencer glared at Aditya. Aria has been asking Spencer to spend more time with her these days. It seems she wants a child. Spencer is more than happy to fulfill his wifeʼs request as a man. Which man wouldnʼt want a child? Besides, Spencer longed to form his own family. Their family would be complete once they have a child. ”Spencer, actually, in a few days, I will be leaving.” Aditya became serious.

Seeing this, Spencer instantly switched back to his calm self. ”Tell me about it?” Aditya briefly began narrating everything that had happened so far. In the end, Spencer was left speechless. ”If what youʼre saying is true, we must rescue her as soon as possible.” There was a ton of urgency in his tone. ”I want to go and rescue Rin now. But I donʼt have any clue as to where she is being held.” Aditya looked helpless. What was even more frustrating and worrying was that he hadnʼt met her in the spiritual world last night.

”For now, itʼs still undecided. Who knows, I might set out tomorrow. The timing is still undecided. But it can be any time. So you must be ready to take over once I am gone.” Hearing this, Spencer thoughtfully nodded his head. Aditya looked at Spencer with a smile before continuing. ”I donʼt know how long I will be out of the Empire.” ”I apologize in advance for leaving you with all these burdens.” ”Itʼs true that I may be the most overworked Prime Minister in history. But I do not hate my work. I never hated this job, even for a second. Before you gave me this job, I had nothing to do. At that time, I just wanted to be useful to the people around me.” ”Now, I am really happy. I have a beautiful wife. I have a fantastic friend. This is my dream job. This is where I can use all of my potential.” ”So there is no need for you to apologize.” ”Thank you, Spencer!! I am very lucky to have you. You have made a huge contribution to this Empire. In fact, without you, I may not have been able to take the Istarin Empire to this point. I really appreciate everything that you have done.”

”Alright, enough emotional talk!!!” Spencerʼs attitude became serious again. ”About the recruitment, I will talk to Alicia about it. She should have someone to recommend. Knowing her character, there is an 80% chance that she will recommend someone. Maybe she will give one of our subordinates to us.” ”Your Majesty, do you have any specific orders you would like me to carry out while you are away from the Empire?” Spencer went back to his previous self. Aditya thought for a moment. ”Well, as the Empire grows, so does its export and import with other Empires. I would like you to start a project to increase the size of the Harbor in the High Tide Harbor City.” ”Anything else?” ”Nothing else, really!!” ”If there is anything that I need you to do, I will try to send a letter. And if possible, teleport back to the Empire. However, I am not even sure where I will be going. But it doesnʼt look like anywhere within the six continents.” ”Are you heading to the Main Continent?” Knowing that Adiya was born there, he shouldnʼt have any problem returning to the Main Continent. Aditya shook his head and replied. ”Probably, no!!” ”Alright!! Do you have anything else to report?” The only important matters are to be discussed in their meeting. As for small matters, such as budget allocation for a new weapon testing, there was no need to tell him about it. He will know of all the expenses by the end of the month. There is also a yearly budget session in which all the expenses of the empire, from the construction of the Royal Castle to the renovation of a small bridge, are added and thoroughly checked to see if there was any misuse of funds from the treasury.
