Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 763:- Strongest General Vs Strongest Dragonian [III]

The attack had sent Victoria flying to the other side of the Island. The 6-foot-tall woman was lying on a broken tree trunk.

Cough...!!!

She violently coughed out a massive amount of blood from her mouth. Victoria was certain that the attack must have broken a few of her ribs. ʼI canʼt feel my left arm.ʼ One of Amberʼs tails had targetted the joint on Victoriaʼs arms. Fortunately, the right arm was still somewhat right. She was sure that the right arm bone was cracked, but compared to it, the condition of her left arm was even worse. She doubted if she would be able to use her left arm in this battle anymore. Meanwhile, while watching everything from the Flying Ship, Aditya wondered if he should have put more restrictions in place.

ʼWhen I said no killing each other, I also should have added no seriously injuring each other.ʼ He then looked at the hourglass. He could see that the time was almost up.

ʼLetʼs watch till the end.ʼ He was interested in seeing if Victoria could stand up and win in such a situation. ʼBut her left arm looks so nasty.ʼ Her left arm was dangling. It was as if her arm could fall off at any given time. Amber did not give Victoria any chance to recover. Using ʼFox Flash Stepsʼ, she appeared. When Victoria opened her eyes, she saw Amber standing above her. Amber leaned down and grabbed her head. She made Victoria look at into her eyes. ”Look into my eyes.” [Mind Maze Technique]

This was Amberʼs most dangerous and useful skill. It allowed her to control the brain of her opponents. She can torture them mentally, control their minds, and also leave a deep psychological shadow after using this skill. Amber hasnʼt found a good time to use this ability. ”Now go to sleep!!” Amber did not intend to harm Victoria. She just wanted the strongest Dragonian to fall asleep so that this battle would end here. She felt that she had hurt her enough. Victoriaʼs hand weakly rose. Her trembling hand managed to reach Amberʼs chest. Seeing this scene, Aditya felt he was seeing a familiar scene. ʼWhere have I seen this before?ʼ He wondered to himself. Amber and everyone were confused as well. [Counterstrike]

Suddenly, a large amount of golden energy spread throughout Amberʼs body from her right arm. Everything happened before Amber could react. ”Enjoy!!” Victoria said with a weak smile. Booooooom....!!!!

Suddenly, Amberʼs body started bursting open. Blood started coming out of her body like a fountain. ”What!!” Amber did not understand. She was horrified. At the same time, Victoriaʼs body started recovering. All the wounds and injuries in her body started repairing as if her body was reversing back in time. ”What is happening?” Spencer did not understand. He thought that Victoriaʼs defeat was inevitable. But suddenly, everything changed. ”My guess is that Victoria has acquired a passive skill that allows her to transfer all the damage that her body has taken.” Victoria used something like this during their first meeting to defeat him in a battle. In that battle, Aditya nearly died. It was also his first and only ever defeat in a battle. Cough....!!!

After coughing a large mouthful of blood, Amber fell to her knees. Her hands were covered in blood. ”What did you do?” Amber asked in a weak tone. ”Something that youʼre very familiar with.” Talking a step toward Amber, Victoria said one word that made Amber instantly understand what she was referring to. ”Deception!!!”

ʼI see...!!ʼ Amber finally understood what happened to her. An earth spear formed in her hand as she approached Amber. ”But I am not done yet.” There was no way that Amber would give up. Admitting defeat would be the same as losing all of her reputation and respect. [Royal Fox Spirit Summoning]

Suddenly, a yellow magic circle formed on the ground under her feet.

Between Victoria and Amber stood a giant Fox. The fox was made from white energy. Itʼs body was transparent. Without any hesitation, the fox spirit pounced on Victoria. Just like before, Victoria punched the empty air before her. In an instant, a strong, concentrated shockwave hit the fox spirit. Bang....!!

The shockwave not only destroyed the fox spirit but also hit Amber. But as soon as the shockwave hit Amber, countless butterflies spread all around Victoria. ʼThis is her final act.ʼ Victoria knew it in her heart. Eventually, all the beautiful butterflies surrounded Victoria. At the same time, dense fog covered everything beyond the butterflies. This made it impossible for Victoria to see anything beyond the dense fog. Huff....!! Huff....!!

The Dragonian tightly clenched the earthʼs spear and cautiously looked around. ʼI wonʼt be able to last for much longer.ʼ Amber would have given up if the personal stakes werenʼt so high in this match. As the General, she cannot allow herself to lose. Swoosh...!!!!

Victoriaʼs ears picked up some sound. She moved her head to the right in time. She dodged the dagger thrown at her in time. But Amber was nowhere to be seen. Tap....!! Tap.....!!

Suddenly, Victoria heard footsteps. She turned back to look, only to relax seeing him. ”Victoria, times up!! This battle has ended in a draw.” Aditya said while approaching her. At the same time, the butterflies and the dense white fog surrounding her began to disperse. Hearing his words, Victoria finally relaxed. She stabbed the ground with the tip of the earthʼs spear. ”You have fought well!! I am very impressed by your performance.” Victoria smiled brightly as his words made her very happy. As he came near her, Victoria suddenly grabbed the earthʼs spear and stabbed him in the heart with it. Seeing this, Aditya widened his eyes. The spear passed through his body. The next second, thousands of earth spikes came out of the ground surrounding Victoria. This stopped Amber from attacking her.

”I knew it!!!! You can never fool my senses with that fake smell. The man whom I love and serve has a very unique Manly smell that can never be replicated.” Hearing this, Amberʼs eyes twitched. She felt very annoyed. At the same time, she envied this woman for having the courage and strength to be straightforward and bold about her feelings. ʼHere, I thought this would work.ʼ Amber felt frustrated. As a beginner 5th-order, Amber does not have the power to control Victoriaʼs mind with Illusion. It was already a big thing that she could affect her senses with her illusion powers. From the beginning, Victoria limited her stats to 5th-order, but that did not mean her body and mind also changed. Her body and mind were still as strong as ever. Compared to other Peak 5th-order cultivators, Victoriaʼs mind was really strong and resistant to her illusion magic. Amber only realized that she could not control her mind when she stood above her and tried to master her thoughts. In the end, this became the sole reason why she was severely injured. ʼLetʼs use this move!!!ʼ Amber knew that running was almost up but she wasnʼt sure just how many more seconds were left. Even if she cannot win, she at least hopes to secure a draw against the Strongest Dragonian. A draw against a Peak 5th-order cultivator was perfectly acceptable to her. ʼIf not for my speed, then by now, I would have been defeated.ʼ Otherwise there was no way that she would be able to dodge Victoriaʼs attacks. ”Where are you, Amber?” Victoria looked around. Amber was nowhere to be seen. Worse of all, she could not sense her presence either. Amber used illusion to completely cover herself.

Facing Amber, Victoria felt as if she was facing an Assassin. ʼAmber would be the third unofficial Assassin General. Yet her potent illusion magic makes her more dangerous than Eleanor and potentially even Nathan.ʼ Victoriaʼs body suddenly began glowing in a bright yellow color. Amber took a few steps back as she sensed her Aura was rapidly becoming stronger and stronger. ʼShe is using some kind of rare passive skill.ʼ ”Though I want this exciting battle to continue unfortunately, I would need you two to stop.” Aditya suddenly landed in front of Victoria. He had jumped from the Flying ship. ”Time up!!”

Seeing him, both Victoria and Amber stopped. Victoriaʼs body stopped glowing. Amber also lifted the illusion from the surroundings and came out of hiding. ”This battle has ended in a draw.” Hearing this, both Victoria and Amber nodded their heads. Both of them were satisfied by the outcome of this battle. In the end, there was a deeper level of respect and appreciation for each other. In their battle, both of them have learned so much about each other. ʼNo!! I have lost this fight.ʼ To Victoria, she has lost this fight. ʼWhen she hit my shoulder, she could have aimed for my neck and ended my life there.ʼ ʼAlso, she had the chance to use poison.ʼ Amber was known to use poison. Her daggers are coated with a very powerful poison. ʼI have heard that Amber is very close to the Goddess of Alchemy. It wouldnʼt be surprising if she had poison that was potent enough to even end my life. But there was no poison in her strikes, so she must have used non-poison-coated daggers in our battle.ʼ

Despite being a Beginner 5th-order cultivator, in many instances, Victoria fell short in front of her. ʼIf she was a Mid-5th-order, then the whole story might have been different.ʼ

ʼOnce she reaches Peak 5th-order, I donʼt think I would be even able to land an attack on her.ʼ The reason Victoria won is because being a Peak 5th-order cultivator gave her higher resistance to her illusion magic. Amber was also having similar thoughts. ʼI canʼt believe it in the end. I had to hope for a draw.ʼ In her eyes, the difference between their powers, even with Victoria suppressing herself, was evident. Amber remembered all the instances where she fell short. She was forced to reveal so many of her trump cards. ʼIf she hadnʼt held back with the earth spike, then the earth spike might have left a large hole in her stomach.ʼ If that had happened, the whole battle would have ended at that moment. ʼIt seems I have a lot of training to do.ʼ Amber wanted to areas where she fell short. This whole battle was a very eye-opening experience for her. ʼI must also do something about my combination skills.ʼ She remembered just how easily Victoria predicted her moves. If this was a real battle, this would have been the end of her. To prevent that, Amber must be unpredictable. ʼThere are so many things that I need to learn.ʼ ʼBut for now, I will focus my training under Lunaʼs guidance.ʼ In just a few days of training, Amber has seen improvement in her illusion magic. Amber snapped out of her thoughts when she noticed him approaching her.

”You donʼt look good.” Aditya came to Amberʼs side and began checking on her. The sudden closeness caused Amber to take a step back. She was surprised by her actions. ”Youʼre really messed up!!” Aditya took out a white towel and gently began wiping the blood from her face. ”Your Majesty, you donʼt have to.....!!” Amber felt embarrassed by his actions, but she was also touched by how concerned he was about her. ”Amber, take this.” Aditya grabbed her wrist and handed her a Peak 5-star healing pill. The green bead size pill was glowing with green veins on it. He then turned to Victoria. ”You have gotten a lot stronger than before.” Victoria nodded her head with a bright smile. ”I have trained every single day.” Since their battle, there hasnʼt been a day since she stopped training. She did not skip her training, even for a day. Even if she was super busy, she always managed to squeeze at least one hour of intense training. ”Victoria, youʼre the strongest Dragonian.” She put her hand on her chest and bowed her head slightly. ”I am happy to serve the Mighty Dragon Monarch.” ”Thank you for your service and dedication towards your work. I want to reward you.” ”Besides, as the strongest, you deserve it.” Before Victoria could question him, suddenly, many drops of Golden Blood fell on her forehead. Her body greedily consumed every drop of the Golden Blood within a few seconds. Boooom....!!!
