Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 780:- Treasure Burial

What happened to Grandmaster Pink very rapidly spread all over the northern region. The news to the ears of Every Seven Clanʼs Leaders. Everyone Seven Clanʼs Leaders became extremely worried after hearing the news of Grandmaster Pinkʼs death. Grandmaster Pink was attacked in his own Mansion in broad daylight. This shows that whoever attacked him was extremely powerful and wasnʼt afraid of being noticed. It would have been one thing if Grandmaster Pink was assassinated or ambushed when he was out of the City. But the fact that someone not only killed him but also destroyed his Mansion and all of his personal guards suggests that this person may be extremely powerful. This is exactly what worried the Seven Clans. Grandmaster Pink was the City Lord of Darolf City. The City Lord himself, along with everything in his Mansion, was killed and destroyed. Now, there was a mysterious powerhouse in Stardawn who had the power to kill even a City Lord in his own City, and no one could stop him. As soon as the news spread, every Seven clan tried their best to find this mysterious powerhouse. Every clan was very wary of this mysterious powerhouse. It was clear that one mysterious cultivator had done this all. Some had seen this person, whose white mask was stained with blood, flying out of the City. By the time the remaining guards reached the City Lordʼs Mansion, it was already too late. Not only City Lordʼs cultivation was destroyed first, but his head was also severed. There wasnʼt even a single person alive to tell what happened. The only thing that the Seven Clans do is speculate. No one knew why Grandmaster Pink was killed like this, but one thing was clear: no other City Lord should mess with this mysterious powerhouse. Otherwise, their fate might be the same or even worse than Grandmaster Pinkʼs. The clan that was most shaken and worried by this whole thing was the Blue Mystic Clan. The Blue Mystic Clan controlled this region of Stardawn, and the Darolf City and its surrounding cities were all under its rule. In fact, Grandmaster Pink was a highly esteemed member of the Blue Mystic Clan. Even within the clan, he was highly revered. There were even rumors that Grandmaster Pink had the highest possibility of being elected as the Next Elder in the next decade.

So, hearing that their future Elder has been slaughtered in daylight in his own City that he was meant to govern and protect, the whole Blue Mystic Clan was beyond shaken. In terms of power and influence, the Blue Mystic Clan ranked three among the Seven Clans. For over a thousand years, no other clan has been able to take this Rank from the Blue Mystic Clan. Yet a member of their clan was killed in such a humiliating way. This was utterly unacceptable by the Blue Mystic Clan.

While all of this was happening, the matter of Someone stealing Anti-Gravity Crystals got utterly buried. No one even remembered about the team that was sent to guard one of the floating islands containing Anti-Gravity Crystals. Since Aditya crippled their cultivation, this meant that those five couldnʼt leave the floating island on their own. Their bodies were seriously injured. They were sent there to guard the island for about five days. After five days, another team would replace them. This meant that for the next three days, those three would be stranded on that floating island that was thousands of meters above the ground. Without their cultivation, they cannot use any artifacts to fly. The whole Blue Mystic Clanʼs resources and manpower were spent searching for this mysterious powerhouse that dared to kill one of their high-ranking members. The whole clan was looking to wash their shame and humiliate them with the blood of this mysterious powerhouse. •••

Meanwhile, the person who did all of this spent the rest of the day taking Anti-Gravity Crystals. Aditya did not kill the ones who stood opposite him and wanted to fight him. He just crippled their cultivation and left them alive. He did this to the members of the Blue Mystic Clans and the members of the other six clans, who also became his victims.

It was important to mention that all floating islands in the northern region didnʼt just belong to the Blue Mystic Clan. Rather, the ownership of floating islands has been divided among the Seven clans. The strongest three had the most floating islands, while the weaker clans had the least. The fewer Floating Islands they got, the lesser the chances of finding Anti-Gravity Crystals in them. Aditya did not care if the Seven Clans found that the person who killed Grandmaster Pink and took so many Anti-Gravity Crystals was the same person. So what if they found out that he did this?

The Dragon Monarch wasnʼt afraid. If they came looking for revenge, Aditya was more than willing to play with them. He wouldnʼt mind destroying all seven clans and replacing them with his own puppets. Aditya was pissed that he did not learn anything about Rinʼs whereabouts from Grandmaster Pink. He took out his anger on the cultivators who confronted him when he wanted to take the Anti-Gravity Crystals. After spending an entire day hunting, Aditya had to slow down. On his back, there was a giant bag four times his size. With his strength, he might not have been able to carry this giant bag full of Anti-Gravity Crystals. ”I cannot take this bag back to the City!!” Aditya still wanted to stay low to avoid alerting the enemy. Besides, if he tried to enter any city with that giant bag, the guards would surely demand to check what he was carrying. At that time, he would have no choice but to use violence. ”I have to hide them somewhere for now. And when itʼs time for me to leave Stardawn, I will take this bag with me.” At that time, Aditya wouldnʼt care if the Seven Clans found he was responsible for this. With his strength, he can easily get out of Stardawn. After searching for a while, Aditya found a cave in the middle of the forest. He repeatedly scanned the surroundings to ensure no eyes were watching him. The cave was just big enough to contain all the Anti-Gravity Crystals. ”This will do for now!!” Aditya was going to use various rune spells to prevent any chances of cultivators or any Magic Animals accidentally destroying this cave or finding his treasures. Fortunately, Aditya had brought some Solar Stones with him. The Solar Stones can be used as energy to maintain and run all the Rune Spells. He also planned to set up a Rune Spell that would allow the whole formation to absorb Mana from the atmosphere and reduce the burdens on the Solar Stones. First, he created a Mist Array. The function of the Mist Array was very simple. The Array would create a mist around a 4-kilometer radius of this cave. The closer one came to the cave, the thicker the mist would become. This would keep any curious eyes from finding this cave. The cave will stay hidden within the thick layer of mist. Second, he added an Illusion Array. It was a simple illusion Rune spell. His illusion spells were not that good since he wasnʼt an illusion user. If Aditya had some kind of illusion of innate skill or class, then the situation might have been different. The illusion magic had one basic function, and that is, if anyone did happen to make it past the mist and find this cave. In their eyes, this cave will appear very ordinary cave. Third, he added Lightning Array. The Lightning Array would attack anyone who tries to enter the cave or harm it in any way. The Lightning Array would only activate once the intruders stepped inside the cave. The intruder would be hit by a powerful lightning bolt or multiple bolts depending on the number of intruders, and each lightning bolt is powerful enough to kill a Peak 4th-order. Unless there was a 5th-order cultivator, Aditya had no reason to fear. But Stardawn cannot allow any 5th-order cultivators to exist. This means that the chances of anyone successfully getting his treasure are now less than 1%. ”Letʼs add the fourth spell. Defensive Dome!!” Once intruders enter the cave, a transparent bubble-like barrier would wrap around the Anti-Gravity Crystals. The barrier will prevent anyone from being able to get to the Crystals. ʼLastly, I want to add a transmitter-type rune Spell.ʼ The function of this Rune Spell is to alert Aditya if anyone has managed to survive the Lightning Array. The formation wasnʼt a living consciousness, so it could not see or think to alert Aditya. How the formation would alert Aditya is that if the formation senses that three strikes from the lightning Array arenʼt killing the intruder and the intruder is still moving, then he will be alerted as long as he is in Stardawn.

Each of the rune spells was strong enough to deal with any cultivator or group of cultivators below the 5th-order. ”This whole formation would need a lot of energy to run all of the time. Other than the Mist and Illusion Array, the other arrays wonʼt always work. But if any intruders do come, then a ton of energy might be needed. ʼTo tackle this issue, letʼs add Atmospheric Mana Absorption spell in this formation.ʼ To end things, Aditya found a massive boulder and used it to seal the cave entrance. The boulder was so big that the boulder completely overshadowed the cave. From a distance, it looks like this little cave has stopped this massive round boulder.

”I have used five Rune Spells. If everything goes according to plan, then the Solar Stones should provide this whole formation with enough power to last for around three weeks.”

”Although I cut the energy dependence on Solar Stones by about 25% by adding the feature of Environment Mana absorption, itʼs still not enough to maintain this entire formation beyond 21 days.” At his level, he can combine up to 4 Rune spells and 1 one supportive Rune spell. Supportive Rune spells were the type of spells that supported the other four rune spells, which were also the main spells in a formation. All the runes in the formation were connected in some way. The Solar stones and the Atmospheric Mana Absorption will keep the whole formation alive. ʼThis is more than enough to keep my treasures protected.ʼ Aditya was sure that not even most cities in this world had such a high level of defense. ”Itʼs time to leave!!” The Dragon Wings came out of his back. The wings spread wide, reaching their full span. With a powerful flap, he lifted off the ground, taking to the air.
