Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 793:- Unofficial Class

The Dune Sovereignty Empire, It was the middle of the night.

Charles was sitting on a chair next to the window.

He was holding a glass of wine. His current appearance looked disheveled as if he had returned from the battlefield. His white outfit even had some blood stains. But it wasnʼt his blood stains. Rather, it was the blood of someone else. In the darkness of the Night, Charles had actually gone to the border of the Empire. He personally killed those people who led this huge rebellion against him. Once he had satisfied his thirst for blood, he returned to the Dragon Palace. But upon returning, he found an unexpected guest in his bedroom. ”Evans, what brings you here?” Charles looked at the Peak 5th-order cultivator who was on his one knee in front of Charles. Evans was one of Charlesʼs personal bodyguards even before Garrick was born. But once Garrick was born, Charles made Evans one of Garrickʼs personal bodyguards. ”First of all, let me apologize for entering your bedroom without informing you first. But this matter is very urgent. I did not want to waste any time.” Charlesʼs expression became serious. ”What happened?” Charles asked while taking a sip. Evans knew what he was about to say would change everything forever, but he was loyal to his one master. And Garrick wasnʼt his true master. If he kept his mouth shut, then due to the Soul-Binding Contract, he would die. Besides, his loyalty lay with the Emperor Charles. When Garrick was really young, Charles made Garrick and Evans sign a Soul-Binding Contract. But this Contract was very unique compared to other Contracts. While a few parts of the Contract were true, 90% of other things on the contract were false. But since Garrick was very young and innocent, he did not understand any of it. He probably doesnʼt even remember what was written on the contract. Charles did this because he wanted to keep an eye on Garrick. Although he knew that it was wrong for him to keep an eye on his son, he wanted to keep on Garrick. However, Evans always learned the things that Garrick wished to keep a secret from Charles. But he always overlooked these secrets, things. These secrets were nothing too big. It was mostly Garrick hooking with married women. It was something that Garrick had inherited from his father. Other than that, whatever he did secretly was motivated by the interest of the Dune Sovereignty Empire. Over time, Evans stopped reporting these small matters.

The last time Evans reported anything significant to Charles was about 123 years ago. While Garrick thought that Evans was one of his loyal men, in reality, he was controlled by Charles. Through Evans, Charles always kept Garrick under his watch to make sure that he never went in the wrong direction. But who would have thought that one day, through this, he would learn of his sonʼs betrayal? ”Itʼs about His Royal Highness.” ”His Royal Highness has kidnapped Sir Eldricʼs family and forced him to come...!!” The more Evans spoke, the more shocked and stunned Charles looked. In the end, he even dropped the glass of wine from his hand. Charles looked as if he was disbelieving his entire existence. ʼThis wasnʼt supposed to happen.ʼ Charlesʼs eyes were full of pain. The only son that he cared for the most betrayed him. ʼWhere did I go wrong with my teachings?ʼ Charles asked himself. ”Your Majesty.....!!” Seeing Charles remaining silent, Evans worryingly called out his name. Charles suddenly stood up and grabbed Evansʼs throat. The Emperor looked at Evans with red eyes. ”Your Majesty...!!” Despite feeling suffocated, Evans did not resist. ”If you knew this was going to happen from the beginning, why didnʼt you stop him? Why didnʼt you send any messages to me?” If Evans had acted faster, then he could have prevented this disaster from happening. ”Your Majesty, none of us knew that this would happen.” ”At first, His Royal Highnessʼs orders were extremely confusing. He did not explain any of his plans with us. Even when I boldly asked, I was quickly shut down.”

”When I realized what was happening, it was already too late. Even if I tried to stop anything, facing five other Peak 5th-order cultivators, I was no match against them.”

”It was only now that I managed to find an opening to come and tell you everything.” Charles pushed Evans to the ground. Although Evans was displeased, he did not show it on his face. He just silently stood up and waited for Charles to speak. Sigh.....!!!

He knew that it wasnʼt his fault. The one who was at fault was his beloved son. ʼNo, he is no longer my son. Now he has become a cruel monster that is trying to devour me.ʼ ʼSince I have given birth to him, I will be the one to end him.ʼ Charlesʼ eyes became really cold and ruthless. He was a man who showered once every month from the blood of his enemies. ʼJust because I have become more mature with my age doesnʼt mean that I have become soft.ʼ Charles was fed up with everyone around him, who saw him as a weak and soft man. He was fed up with his sonʼs actions. He was also fed up with the actions of his Citizens. ”Alright, you can leave!!” Suddenly, Charles did not want to be with anyone. He wanted to be alone and give time to reflect on where he went wrong with his teachings. Evans vanished from Charlesʼs room. Through the open window, he flew out of the Royal Palace. He went to the place where he had come from.

Right now, Garrick and others were staying in his secret Mansion outside of the Capital. He planned to return there and watch over everything. ”Is this what I get for being so kind and caring towards one and only one person in this world?” Charles was regretting everything. Just then, a powerful figure stopped in front of the Royal Palace. As a Peak 5th-order cultivator, Charles sensed his overwhelmingly powerful Aura. The Aura of this man even made the Aura of the 9-Headed Hydra look like a child. ʼJust who is he?ʼ Charles stared out of the window. His eyes were on the man who was slowly descending to his level. ʼIs the Dragon Monarch in disguise?ʼ For a second, Charles doubted if this was the case. But then he quickly shook his head. Adityaʼs Aura was very different. Charles can tell that he once sensed his aura back when he came to an auction with one of his women. This happened way before his trip to the Beast Continent in search of the Dragon Grass. ”Who are you?” Charles asked in a cautious mind. The Emperor looked very cautious. ʼEven if all the Peak 5th-order cultivators of this Empire gathered and attacked him, I doubt it still would be enough to kill him. He is undoubtedly a Calamity Class level powerhouse.ʼ ʼA Calamity class powerhouse has the power to destroy an entire Continent effortlessly.ʼ ʼLast time when two ʼCalamity Classʼ monsters fought, they nearly destroyed the entire Eastern region in the Dying Isle Continent.ʼ Charles recalled Adityaʼs battle with the nine headed hydra. Fortunately, since others focused entirely on protecting the citizens of the Empire, the casualties of the battle werenʼt that big. But Charles doubted he would be able to protect his Empire if they began fighting this monster. ʼForget winning; I donʼt even know if I can escape even if all the powerhouse of my Empire keeps him occupied.ʼ Charles was beginning to sweat from fear. This was the first time he had experienced such an overwhelming Aura. The term ʼCalamity Classʼ is an unofficial rank that is given to those Peak 5th-order cultivators whose powers have far surpassed the realm of Peak 5th-order cultivators.

They are monsters whose fighting powers have reached beyond Peakʼs 5th-order realm. These Monsters have the power to fight even 6th-order cultivators despite being in Peak 5th-order. Living over 15000+ years, it was normal for Charles to know about Calamity Class powerhouses. In recent times, the Dragon Monarch is the only known cultivator to ascend and gain the title of ʼCalamity Class.ʼ It was also the Dragon Monarch who had fought two ʼCalamity Classʼ monsters within a monthʼs time. First, he fought the holder of the World Treasure, the Vampire King. Second, he fought the nine headed Hydra in his own territory. Not only did he fight against these figures, but he also managed to win without any permanent injuries. ʼBut the question is.....why a ʼCalamity Classʼ powerhouse would come here?ʼ Thinking of this question, Charles felt a little bit confident. Perhaps this figure was here for a reason. As long as he helps him, things shouldnʼt become chaotic. It was just as Charles had thought.

The mysterious man suppressed his Aura. ”Emperor of the Dune Sovereignty, I wish to talk to you.” ”Sure!! Please come inside!!” Knowing that this figure meant no harm to him, Charles invited him to his bedroom. ”Sir, what do you want to talk about?” Charles asked with a stiff smile. His expression was stiff because he was nervous and worried. If he displeased this man, then he was going to die before he could even take out his sword to fight. ”I am here with a proposal. A plan for both of us to join hands in destroying the Istarin Empire.”
