Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 49, Slapping You for Not Knowing Your Place!

Xiao Ye flapped her wings, looking curiously at Cui Hongtai whom she had grabbed.

She found it strange that this little creature in her hand was clearly Human, yet looked so peculiar and had a trace of Dark Element in his aura.

She was like a child carefully examining a toy, not taking Cui Hongtai seriously at all.

Cui Hongtai, caught by such a terrifying existence, was first stunned. He soon realised that regardless of what the other party was, being in its grasp was horrendous for him.

He immediately roared, trying to escape from Xiao Ye’s Dragon Claw. However, when he struggled, he discovered that the enormous creature holding him was terrifyingly strong!

His little Strength was utterly insignificant before this Giant Dragon, not even enough to attract its attention.

It was as if Cui Hongtai was just a mosquito, grasped in someone’s hand. No matter how much he struggled, he would easily be crushed.

Xiao Ye did not even feel Cui Hongtai’s struggle. She blinked her crimson Dragon Eyes, examining Cui Hongtai up and down. Perhaps due to Xiao Ye’s surge in Strength when she hit Level 10, she was not gentle in her handling. As she observed Cui Hongtai, her Dragon Claw applied ‘some pressure’. However, it was enough to cause sounds like *popping* and *cracking* from Cui Hongtai’s body.

Countless bones in Cui Hongtai’s body were broken. Not just his bones, but his spear was also caught in Xiao Ye’s grasp. The Bronze spear was now severely deformed under Xiao Ye’s Dragon Claw, essentially ruined.

If even Bronze equipment could not withstand Xiao Ye’s Strength, how could Cui Hongtai?

Where was Cui Hongtai’s bravery from when he had just received Jin Zhu’s Buff? He opened his mouth and spat out a mouthful of blood, struggling to call out, “Little Princess… save me…”

Jin Zhu finally came to her senses. She looked at the enormous creature before her, unable to believe it was a Giant Dragon.

The urgent matter now was to save Cui Hongtai. If something happened to him, without anyone to protect her, Jin Zhu would be like a Lamb waiting for slaughter!

Jin Zhu hurriedly waved her staff, casting a Skill. This time, she was not giving Cui Hongtai a Buff, but casting on Xiao Ye, likely trying to apply a Debuff.

However, with Black Dragon Bloodline, Xiao Ye was completely immune to Debuffs.

The black energy around Jin Zhu struck Xiao Ye but was completely blocked by her Dragon Scales, having no effect at all.

Jin Zhu’s spellcasting did attract Xiao Ye’s attention though.

As a member of the Dragon Race, Xiao Ye had always despised and resented Curse Type Dark Magic. Now that Jin Zhu was using this disgusting Magic against her, Xiao Ye became angry.

Xiao Ye lost interest in Cui Hongtai and casually smashed him to the ground. She roared at the spellcasting Jin Zhu.

“Roar!” Xiao Ye did not use Lava Blaze. One breath of Lava Blaze would have left nothing of Jin Zhu.

Just this roar created a strong gust, enough to blow the spellcasting Jin Zhu to the ground.

Xiao Ye flapped her wings twice and arrived before Jin Zhu, looking down at her from above.

Jin Zhu had just gotten up from the ground when she saw this scene. She was immediately scared out of her wits, screaming and desperately retreating.

“You… what are you… stay away from me!”

Lu Fan slowly walked towards Jin Zhu, his face full of disdain. He patted Xiao Ye’s body and said, “Princess Jin is really interesting. You keep saying only your Extremistis Country deserves to have a Dragon Tamer, but when you actually encounter a Dragon, you don’t recognize it.”

“This… this is really a Dragon!?” Jin Zhu’s whole body trembled, her face full of shock and disbelief. “How is this possible!? How can there be someone else in this world besides our Jin Family who has a second Dragon…”

“Ha Ha Ha!” Lu Fan gave a cold laugh, sneering, “That thing your Jin Family has can be called a Dragon? Don’t insult the Dragon Race!”

As he spoke, Lu Fan took another step, walking unhurriedly towards Jin Zhu.

Jin Zhu was actually very powerful, but her Profession leaned towards a supportive role. She specialised in giving her allies Buffs and applying Debuffs to enemies. With Cui Hongtai lying on the ground like mud, Jin Zhu could not even exert half of her strength. Moreover, Jin Zhu had been completely terrified by Xiao Ye, forgetting how to fight.

Seeing Lu Fan approach, she could only tremble and retreat.

“You… what are you going to do!? I’m the Little Princess of Extremistis Country, you’ve hit my attendant and me, do you know what Extremistis Country will…”

“Hit you? What’s wrong with hitting you?!” Lu Fan didn’t show any leniency towards Jin Zhu. After reaching her, he directly slapped her.

With a crisp *pa!* sound, Jin Zhu staggered but did not fly away. Lu Fan had precise control over his Strength and merely wanted to teach her a lesson.

This slap caused Jin Zhu’s other cheek to swell up as well.

Lu Fan wore a cold smile and scolded after hitting her, “This slap is for not knowing your place. You people from Extremistis Country dare to come to Dragon Country to show off! You even dare to call yourselves superior!”
