Lu Fan certainly could not reveal to Han Ke about his System.

Lu Fan was afraid his Aunt might inquire further about Xiao Ye’s origins. Therefore, Lu Fan took out the Profession Change Scroll from his Inventory and handed it over, advising, “Auntie, I obtained quite a few good things during this trip to the Wilderness. This item is especially meaningful for you. You should quickly use it.”

Han Ke took the scroll, bewildered, and asked, “What is this… Oh! It’s actually a Profession Change Scroll?!”

Han Ke’s beautiful almond eyes immediately widened, her face full of disbelief.

“This… this is such a valuable treasure!” Han Ke’s hands were slightly trembling as she looked at Lu Fan, “Where did you get this?”

Lu Fan smiled, looking relaxed as he said, “In the Wilderness. I happened to meet the Daughter of Qin Shanhai. You know, the City Lord of our Jianghai City. They were short on people for a Secret Realm, so I went with them. After clearing the Secret Realm, I chose this Profession Change Scroll from the rewards, intending to let you change your Profession to this Enchanted Cooking Chef. This way, you won’t have to keep watching over this Bun Shop. You can now have a Hidden Lifestyle Specialised Profession, and your future will be much brighter!”

Hearing that this scroll was Lu Fan’s reward from clearing a Secret Realm, Han Ke immediately felt a warmth flow through her heart.

She knew that Lu Fan must have been able to choose other rewards, but for her sake, he chose this Profession Change Scroll.

Han Ke’s eyes became moist. She discreetly wiped them and said with a smile, “Fan’er, I appreciate your thoughtfulness, but this scroll is too valuable, I can’t use it. Why don’t we just sell this scroll? A Profession Change Scroll for a Hidden Profession should be quite valuable. If we sell it, perhaps we could buy you two equipment. That way, you can perform better in the major exam.”

“No need, Auntie, I don’t need money or equipment.” Lu Fan said. He smilingly took out his phone and showed Han Ke his bank account, which had nearly 300,000 deposited inside.

“Look, Auntie, during this trip, I also collected quite a few materials and sold them for this much. We won’t have to worry about money anymore in the future. Oh right, the girl that I met from the Qin Family even said that she’ll give me some more money as a reward. So, you should just use this scroll. Trust me. Our Family will never have to worry about money again in the future.”

Seeing that Lu Fan had earned an amount that her shop could not make in three or four years, Han Ke felt both shocked and gratified.

She looked at Lu Fan’s tattered clothes. Although there were no wounds on his body, the bloodstains on his clothes proved that this trip to the Wilderness must have been very difficult for him.

Seeing this, Han Ke’s nose and eyes started to act up again.

Now, she could not refuse this Profession Change Scroll. After all, it was something Lu Fan had worked so hard to bring back for her. If she did not use it, she would be wasting Lu Fan’s good intentions.

Han Ke nodded with a smile and agreed, “Alright, I believe you. I’ll use this scroll.”

“En!” Seeing Han Ke agree to use the Profession Change Scroll, Lu Fan was immediately overjoyed, “Then Auntie, quickly change your Profession to Enchanted Cooking Chef. I also want to see what’s so special about this Hidden Profession.”

“Okay.” Han Ke nodded and used the scroll.

The scroll turned into a beam of light and entered Han Ke’s body.

After a moment, the light dissipated, and Han Ke’s entire physical state changed from haggard to becoming much more energetic.

It seems like changing to a Hidden Profession did bring some physical benefits to Han Ke.

Han Ke slowly opened her eyes, her expression showing some pleasant surprise.

Lu Fan quickly asked, “How is it? Is there anything special about the new Profession?”

Han Ke nodded and said honestly, “I gained a Passive Skill called Enchanted Cooking. From now on, the food I cook will, based on the ingredients and taste, provide certain Attribute boosts to those that eat it. I’m not exactly sure what Attributes will be added or how long they’ll last. It might be all random.”

“I see, isn’t that similar to Alchemist?” Lu Fan was quite satisfied with the effect of this Hidden Profession.

In fact, the Enchanted Cooking Chef was even better than Alchemist in some ways. After all, Alchemists need medicinal herbs to concoct Potions, while Han Ke only needs food ingredients.

Han Ke’s excited face turned blush as she smiled and said, “It’s similar, but the Attributes added by my dishes definitely won’t be as much as Potions from an Alchemist. It’s just slightly better than nothing.”

Lu Fan smiled, “That’s fine, after all, you cannot always take medicine, but you can always eat a meal every day.”

Lu Fan added, “Auntie, with your excellent cooking skills, the Attributes added to your dishes shouldn’t be low.”

“You always know what to say, don’t you?” Han Ke smiled and poked Lu Fan’s forehead with her finger. She announced, “I’m heading off to the market now. I want to buy some ingredients. I’m going to cook a table full of good food tonight to welcome you back. At the same time, it’ll also let us see just what kind of Attribute Enhancements dishes made from my Enchanted Cooking can produce.”
