Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 47, Touching the Reverse Scale

Translator: Silavin

Lu Fan was the only Dragon Tamer they knew of, so they came here determined to succeed. They absolutely needed to make Lu Fan a servant of their Jin Family. Thus, if kindness did not work, force it would be.

Seeing this Level 30 Guardian Knight’s imposing stature, as if about to make a move, Han Ke was extremely nervous. She hurriedly stepped forward to try and stop them.

“Wait a moment, please don’t get angry, you two. Fan’er’s words were a bit too harsh just now, can we not discuss this calmly? Fan’er indeed does not want to accept your deal, so why don’t we just forget about this matter…”

Cui Hongtai saw Han Ke dare blocking his way and coldly snorted before casually pushing forward. “My Princess has given me orders! Don’t get in the way!”

As a Guardian Knight, Cui Hongtai’s Strength was much higher than Han Ke’s. This one push of his seemed casual, but if it actually hit Han Ke, her body would not be able to withstand it.

Cui Hongtai’s action was deliberately meant to teach Lu Fan a lesson. To let Lu Fan know the consequences for daring to speak to Jin Zhu in such a rude manner.

Not just him, even his Family members. They would not hesitate to crush them.

However, Cui Hongtai and Jin Zhu did not know that they had already touched Lu Fan’s bottom line.

If they had only asked Lu Fan to leave Dragon Country, become a citizen of their Extremistis Country, and become a Dog of the Jin Family, Lu Fan just thought of them as delusional. He saw these two as fools thinking they, and their Extremistis Country, were on a fake pedestal.

In Lu Fan’s eyes, such people were no different from brain-damaged individuals. He would mere verbally insult them and send them away.

However, for Cui Hongtai to dare to lay hands on Han Ke, this undoubtedly touched Lu Fan’s Reverse Scale!

In this world, Han Ke was Lu Fan’s only known relative. Whoever dared to bully Han Ke, he would dare to kill them!

Just as Cui Hongtai was about to touch Han Ke, Lu Fan instantly turned into a blur, appearing in front of Han Ke and grabbing Cui Hongtai’s wrist.

“You dare to lay hands on my Aunt!? Do you believe I’ll kill you!?” Lu Fan’s gaze was fierce. His face was cold as ice, and his eyes were full of killing intent.

This killing intent actually made Cui Hongtai shudder involuntarily. It was as if he was facing a Monster of a much Higher Level than himself.

Cui Hongtai quickly reacted. He thought back to the fact that the other party had just Profession Changed, and to a useless Profession at that. He questioned what was he afraid of?

He was a Second Profession Change Guardian Knight! Those below Level 30, unless they had a powerful Hidden Profession, could not possibly stand against him!

“You dare fight back!?” Cui Hongtai slightly raised his head, “Daring to lay hands on us Nobles from Extremistis Country, I see you’re seeking death… Eh!?”

Cui Hongtai’s tone suddenly changed. He had originally planned to use his superior Strength to break free from Lu Fan’s grasp, then teach Lu Fan a harsh lesson. However, when he exerted force, he found that Lu Fan’s hand did not budge at all. It was like an iron clamp.

[What’s going on?] Although his Strength was not considered high, it was still close to 100. It was an unreachable number for someone who just had his Profession Changed.

How could the other party’s Strength be even higher than his, and by such a large margin!? Was  he not supposed to have a useless Profession? Where did such high Strength come from!?

While Cui Hongtai was stunned, Lu Fan’s other hand had already swung over with a slap. It made a crisp *pa!* as his hand struck Cui Hongtai’s face.

Caught off guard, Cui Hongtai was directly sent flying, crashing out through the shop’s door onto the street outside with a dull *thud*. He looked miserable.

Lu Fan dusted off his hands and coldly snorted, “Noble? Something that has forgotten their own heritage dares to call itself a Noble?”

By now, Jin Zhu was dumbfounded. She never imagined that her strongest attendant, Cui Hongtai, would be slapped flying by Lu Fan.

Nevertheless, she quickly reacted. Like a lit powder keg, she suddenly shrieked, “You dare to lay hands on my people?! You Lower Life Form…”

“Oh, right, and you too.” Lu Fan was annoyed by the noise Jin Zhu was making. His body left an afterimage as he instantly appeared in front of Jin Zhu, and similarly, slapped her.

Jin Zhu’s Endurance and Agility were clearly not high. Facing Lu Fan’s approaching her, she had no way to resist at all.

Lu Fan’s palm squarely struck Jin Zhu’s face, sending her flying as well.

Cui Hongtai, with his high Endurance and tough skin, only had a red swollen handprint on his face after being slapped by Lu Fan.

As he got up from the ground and saw Jin Zhu sent flying by Lu Fan’s slap, he was greatly shocked and hurriedly went to catch her.

“Little Princess, are you alright?” Cui Hongtai steadied Jin Zhu and asked with concern.

Jin Zhu pushed Cui Hongtai away angrily and slapped him twice in succession, making Cui Hongtai dare not to speak.

“You useless trash! Look at my face! Does it look alright to you!?” At this moment, Jin Zhu’s beautiful face had swollen up, looking comical.

Feeling the burning pain on her face, Jin Zhu became even more furious. Pointing at Lu Fan inside the shop, she screamed until her voice broke. “Go and kill that ignorant brat for me! Even if we cannot find another Dragon Tamer, I want him dead!”
