Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 33, Gold Equipment, Ring of Resentment

Translator: Silavin

This… this is a Skill?! This is clearly a natural disaster, isn’t it?!

The Qin Family was considered one of the top Families in Jianghai City, with many Mages in the Family. There were even High Level Mages who had undergone their Second Profession Change.

However, even these Mages who had learned Second Profession Change Skills could not compare to this Giant Dragon’s Lava Blaze!

You call this thing a Level 9 Pet?! This is more ferocious than a Third Profession Change Mage!

For a moment, all the Qin Family members doubted their life choices.

Originally, the Light Abhorrer’s Resentment Impact looked incredibly powerful, but once the Lava Blaze came out, the Resentment Impact was instantly devoured by the flames and magma.

After dispersing Resentment Impact, the Lava Blaze directly engulfed the Light Abhorrer.

In an instant, countless water vapours evaporated, accompanied by the agonising screams of the Light Abhorrer.

Under the powerful Lava Blaze, the Light Abhorrer had no ability to fight back at all. It even tried to escape from the Lava Blaze, but how could Xiao Ye let it have its way?

No matter where it fled, Xiao Ye turned her head, keeping the Lava Blaze constantly above the Light Abhorrer.

This was a completely one-sided steamroll.

A Level 9, was steamrolling a Level 25.

Lu Fan and the others could see through the Secret Realm Scoreboard Panel that the damage Lu Fan was causing was increasing at a terrifying speed. It was gradually surpassing the total of what everyone had done when clearing Despair Village 1.

The thickness of the Light Abhorrer’s Health Points was evident. Still, under Xiao Ye’s Lava Blaze, the Light Abhorrer only had one fate, getting slaughtered.

In just about a minute, the Light Abhorrer let out a wail, and all its resentment was completely incinerated by the Lava Blaze.

Xiao Ye sensed that the opponent’s aura had completely disappeared. Knowing that she had completed the task Lu Fan had assigned her, she retracted the Lava Blaze, and circled once in mid-air.

A golden light flashed on her body, and her form began to expand again, becoming even larger than before.

Lu Fan was greatly delighted. [This Light Abhorrer had come at just the right time. It provided enough Experience Points for Level Xiao Ye up to Level 10.]

He wondered if Xiao Ye’s strength would undergo any qualitative changes after reaching Level 10.

After eliminating the Light Abhorrer, Xiao Ye finally descended from mid-air, coming to Lu Fan’s side, looking like she was seeking praise.

Lu Fan smiled, rummaged through his Inventory to find a large piece of Monster Meat. He tossed it to Xiao Ye, and praised: “Well done, Xiao Ye. This is your reward!”

Xiao Ye was overjoyed, swallowing the meat in one bite. She nuzzled against Lu Fan before lying down on the spot, appearing very obedient.

Since the Light Abhorrer was eliminated, on everyone’s Mission Panel, the Despair Village 2 Mission was shown as completed and has disappeared.

At the place where the Light Abhorrer had died, a source of light rippled out. It was enveloping a piece of equipment which flew to Lu Fan’s side.

It seemed that this was the reward for clearing the Hidden Stage. The number of reward items was not as many as before. It was only one piece, but considering this was a Level 30 Nightmare Secret Realm, the reward should be decent.

Lu Fan stepped forward and grabbed it. When he opened his palm to see what it was, he saw a ring with an ancient design, completely pitch black.

Ring of Resentment: (Gold)
Level Requirement: Level 15

Mana +57

Endurance +21

Strength +12

Additional Skill: Resentment Aura (Active Skill) – can actively designate a teammate or oneself to gain Resentment Aura. After gaining Resentment Aura, Attacks and Skills released will be accompanied by Resentment Qi. Resentment Qi is capable of inflicting Negative Status Effects such as Negative Status Effects such as Poisoned, Weakness, Bleeding, Stun, Frenzy, and etc on the enemy)

[To think It is actually a piece of Gold equipment, a top class one at that!] Lu Fan was quite surprised by this unexpected bonus. He was ecstatic.

This Level 15 Gold equipment added ninety Attribute points. It was not much worse as compared to his Black Dragon Scale Greatsword.

At the same time, the ring also came with an Active Skill called Resentment Aura, which would make Lu Fan even more formidable!

When Lu Fan uses Dragon Fang Strike, or when Xiao Ye uses Lava Blaze, even if the opponent could withstand it, the attack would also be accompanied by Resentment Qi. It could inflict countless Debuffs on the opponent. How could any opponent fight back against this?

It was a lethal weapon, like a sword coated with poison!

It was such a treasure that Lu Fan would not be willing to hand it over to someone else.

He turned back to Qin Qiu and the others and stated, “According to the rules, the top of the Scoreboard gets to choose the spoils first. So, this thing belongs to me. You don’t have any objections, right?”

Jokes aside, how could Qin Qiu and the others have any objections? All the Damage Output was done by Lu Fan’s Dragon Pet. They were lucky enough to keep their lives.

If it were ordinary people who only saw money and were greedy, they might really argue with Lu Fan, wanting to get something. However, Qin Qiu and the others hailed from a big Family. They had proper upbringings and had lines they would not cross.

“How could we have any objections? This equipment rightfully belongs to you.” Qin Qiu, having completely escaped death, was no longer as pale-faced as before.

She smiled at Lu Fan, her attitude even more respectful than before. She was showing humility completely uncharacteristic of a Young Mistress from a powerful Family like hers.
