Secret Realm Clear Condition: Kill Light Abhorrer, current progress 0/1

Description: Originally, with the death of the Despair Vengeful Zombie, Despair Village should have been released. However, the Despair Vengeful Zombie ultimately died under the Holy Light it hated most. Before its resentment dissipated, it saw the staff and robe of the person who sealed it years ago.

Memories of its past life gushed forth like a spring, and the Despair Vengeful Zombie’s resentment could not dissipate. It eventually consolidated, transforming into Light Abhorrer.

Without the shackles of its rotting flesh, it became even more powerful. Thus, Despair Village has fallen into deeper despair, never to rest…

Seeing this new Mission, everyone understood what was happening.

When clearing a Secret Realm, some Secret Realms, under specific conditions, would trigger Hidden Stages, allowing Profession Change Players to undergo the Second Stage of the Secret Realm.

This probability was really low because Secret Realms were already rare, and the conditions to trigger Hidden Stages were generally very strict. There were not many related records of it.

Now, whether it was fortunate or unfortunate, Lu Fan and the others had triggered a Hidden Stage, entering the Second Stage of the Secret Realm Despair Village.

From the description, Lu Fan guessed that the condition to trigger the Hidden Stage should be that the Despair Vengeful Zombie ultimately died under a Light Attribute Skill. After all, the Secret Realm completion rewards included Holy Light Seal and Twilight Holy Light Robe.

The trigger conditions were indeed obscure, but who would have thought their team would have a Holy Light Mage like Qin Qiu, and she actually got both the Holy Light Seal and Twilight Holy Light Robe?

At this moment, Lu Fan still remained calm, but Sun Ge, Qin Qiu, and the others had turned deathly pale.

Qin Qiu’s face was bloodless. Her fingers, gripping the Holy Light Seal, turning slightly white from the force. “This… it seems it’s because of my Hidden Profession that I’ve triggered the Secret Realm’s Hidden Stage… If I hadn’t attacked the Despair Vengeful Zombie then, maybe we would not have been brought back here…”

Sun Ge sighed and said, “Who could have imagined this Secret Realm had a Hidden Stage?”

“This is a Nightmare Secret Realm now, and the Level Requirement has also increased to 30. Even with Little Brother Lu here, I’m afraid it’s not something we can handle. In my opinion, we should quickly find the exit and avoid the Monster here. There’s only one Monster in the entire Secret Realm, and it’s definitely the Boss. If we encounter it, I’m afraid our chances are slim.”

The others nodded, not having any intention of clearing the Secret Realm.

Joking aside, the Despair Vengeful Zombie was already so strong. Now that the Secret Realm’s difficulty and Level Requirement had increased, who would dare to covet the Secret Realm Rewards?

Just as everyone was considering retreating and looking for an exit, Lu Fan, who had been silent all this time, shook his head and said, “I’m afraid it won’t be so easy to leave.”

As soon as Lu Fan finished speaking, everyone heard the sound of water, starting small and growing until it sounded like thunder, constantly exploding.

Everyone looked towards the source of the sound and saw the small lake beside them churning. It was as if it was being constantly kneaded by a large hand.

Soon, all the foul-smelling lake water rose into the air, constantly changing shape.

Quickly, the lake water gathered into a mass, forming a five metre tall Humanoid figure. It looked like an enlarged version of the Despair Vengeful Zombie, except that its hands no longer had rusty iron chains.

The Secret Realm’s only Monster appeared, just over ten metres away from Lu Fan and the others.

It would be very difficult for Lu Fan and the others to escape now.

Everyone used Appraisal Eye to look at this Monster’s Attributes. With just one glance, a sense of despair spread among everyone, except for Lu Fan.

This was true despair.

Light Abhorrer: (Nightmare Level Boss, Actively Hostile Monster)
Level: 25

Strength: 386

Agility: 249

Mana: 435

Endurance: 398

Skills:

Body of Hatred (Passive) – Light Abhorrer has no physical form, is immune to Physical Attacks.

Hatred of Light (Passive) – Light Attribute Attacks will cause Light Abhorrer to generate greater hatred, thus increasing its power.

Cage of Hatred (Active Skill) – Uses its own resentment to form a cage trapping enemies.

Resentment Impact (Active Skill) – Releases resentment, causing fatal damage to enemies, and causes Negative Status Effects such as Poisoned, Weakness, Bleeding, Stun, Frenzy, and etc.)

Although its Level had not changed, the difficulty rating has increased from Difficult to Nightmare, directly doubling its Attributes!

Moreover, the two Passive Skills made Lu Fan and Qin Qiu helpless against it.

If it was immune to Physical Attacks, Lu Fan’s attacks would be ineffective against it. Thus, who among those present could harm it?

The extremely high Mana and Endurance Attributes meant that no one present had any way to break through its defence.

This Boss was simply terrifying.

Moreover, what was even more terrifying was that after this Boss appeared, it directly released the resentment within its body, forming a Cage of Hatred. The diameter of a hundred metres had been sealed off, preventing Lu Fan and the others from escaping.

Escaping the Secret Realm had already become a luxury that would never be fulfilled.
