Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 9, Black Dragon King – Deathwing!

Translator: Silavin

[Holy…!] Lu Fan was so excited he almost flew to the moon!

It was a Dragon Egg! This Treasure Map actually gave him a Dragon Egg!

Lu Fan’s hands were trembling with excitement. He quickly checked his Mission Inventory and sure enough, a Dragon Egg was lying there.

Lu Fan took it out and held it in his hands.

The Dragon Egg was as big as a Human head and looked like a round black stone. Its surface was not smooth, rugged like it was filled with Dragon Scales, and there were quite a few fiery red patterns flashing on and off on the Dragon Egg, as if something inside was breathing.

Lu Fan used his Appraisal Eye at this Dragon Egg and its details leapt before his eyes.

Dragon Egg: (Mythical Grade Special Item)
Description: Dragon Taming Skill can be used on it to tame it. Upon successful use, obtain Dragon Pet – Black Dragon King – Deathwing (Baby Dragon).

Looking at the description for the Dragon Egg, Lu Fan could feel his jaw was about to drop.

This was a Dragon Egg, that was far better than any ordinary Dragon Egg.

What was incubating inside the egg was a Black Dragon King – Deathwing!

In this world, the Dragon Race represented power and mystery. Humans knew very little about them. Just from its name, one could tell that the rank of this Dragon had to be extremely high, definitely incomparable to ordinary Dragons!

At this moment, Lu Fan really wanted to shout, [who said Dragon Tamer was the weakest Hidden Profession!? I have a Dragon now! A Dragon! It’s even a Black Dragon King!]

Lu Fan took a few deep breaths to suppress his excitement and began using his only skill on this Dragon Egg.

“Skill Failed.”

“Skill Failed.”

“Skill Failed.”

“Skill Successful!”

With only the fourth attempt, Dragon Taming Skill was successfully activated.

Instantly, a beam of light burst out from Lu Fan’s chest and shone on the Dragon Egg.

Lu Fan felt that he had formed some kind of Bloodline Sharing with the existence in the Dragon Egg. This feeling was very subtle. Lu Fan even felt that he and the Baby Dragon that was about to hatch could communicate spiritually in the future, able to understand each other’s thoughts and feelings.

At this time, the Dragon Egg burst out with a bright light, merging with Lu Fan’s body. The powerful light made even Lu Fan blinded, and he subconsciously closed his eyes.

In Lu Fan’s ears, the crisp sound of cracking could be clearly heard.

[Seems like after being tamed, the Baby Dragon in this Dragon Egg is about to be born…]

The light quickly dissipated and Lu Fan regained his sight. He immediately looked at the Dragon Egg held in his palms.

At this time, the upper half of the Dragon Egg had disappeared, and a cute Little Dragon was sitting in the remaining Eggshell, crunching on the Eggshell.

The Eggshell was incomparably hard, but the Little Dragon ate it as if it were potato chips, easily crushing them in its mouth.

Looking at this Little Dragon, Lu Fan found that it actually looked even more majestic than he had imagined.

This Little Dragon was like the Eggshell, with rugged Dragon Scales all over its body, giving a sense that it was made of metal.

Beneath its scales, there was even a fiery red flickering whenever it breathed, as if this Little Dragon was like an erupting volcano.

The Little Dragon was not big and looked extremely cute sitting in the Eggshell. It suddenly gave Lu Fan the feeling of having become an old Father.

The little glutton had quite the appetite and quickly ate all the Eggshells. It soon spread its dark red fleshy wings, seeming to be stretching its body.

As its one metre long wings opened, the fiery patterns on its wings lit up, making Lu Fan feel a wave of heat rushing at his face.

*Whew!* The Little Dragon suddenly took off and circled over Lu Fan’s head. Every flap of its wings stirred up gusts of wind mixed with heat.

Lu Fan discovered that this might be a phenomenon after Dragons ate their Eggshells. After all, the Little Dragon was obviously growing bigger as it circled in midair.

Originally, the Little Dragon was the size of a cat and could be held in one’s hands but in a short span of a dozen seconds, its body had obviously grown bigger. Its wings now spanned two metres when opened, and its body now reached half a person’s height.

However, compared to the massive adult Giant Dragons, which were the size of mountain ranges, it was still very small.

It seemed that only after its level increased could it truly have the aura of an adult Giant Dragon.

After the Little Dragon’s body grew bigger, it let out a Dragon Roar and dived down, screeching to a halt in front of Lu Fan.

Lu Fan had a spiritual connection with the Little Dragon. He knew what it wanted to do without it saying a word. So, he instinctively stretched out his arm.

The Little Dragon directly landed on Lu Fan’s arm and retracted its wings. It hugged Lu Fan’s arm like a kitten, affectionately rubbing its blazing hot and hard little head against Lu Fan’s chest and neck.

The Little Dragon was not light, but Lu Fan’s Strength Attribute was not low either. So, holding up its body was not a problem.

Seeing the Little Dragon start acting coquettish with him, Lu Fan also revealed a smile and patted the Little Dragon’s head.

This action made the latter very pleased as it rubbed against Lu Fan’s hand again and again. [Who would have thought that the Baby Dragon of the mighty Black Dragon King would be so clingy? Right. I wonder what its Attributes are. Also, Now that I have a Giant Dragon, have my Skills been unlocked?]
