Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 32, No More Pretending, It’s Time to Reveal That the Strongest is the Dragon Pet

Xiao Ye raised her head to look at the Light Abhorrer. She showed no sign of tension. It was as if she was not facing a formidable enemy. She even made a vomiting expression, implying that this thing was not edible so she had no interest in it.

Such a terrifying Giant Dragon was making a childlike expression. It left Qin Qiu and others both shocked and speechless.

The contrast was just too cute!

Lu Fan shrugged his shoulders, and said seriously, “Xiao Ye, be good and burn it to death. I’ll find you something nice to eat later.”

“Ang!” Hearing Lu Fan’s promise, Xiao Ye reluctantly agreed. She flapped her wings to rise into the air, facing off against the Light Abhorrer.

Sun Ge finally came to his senses at this moment. He pinched himself to make sure he was not dreaming. He asked Lu Fan in disbelief: “Little Brother Lu, is this… is this your Pet?! A Dragon?!”

Lu Fan nodded, confirming it.

Qin Qiu pondered for a moment, then suddenly realised: “I remember now! I heard earlier that a student at Jianghai Third Academy had a Profession Change. He became a Dragon Tamer. Could that person be you!?”

It was quite normal for Qin Qiu to have heard about a student in Jianghai City who had awakened as a Dragon Tamer. After all, it was significant news.

It was a Hidden Profession, and reportedly the most useless Combat Specialised Profession. People were always eager to discuss such things.

However, the strength Lu Fan had displayed earlier was completely that of a Warrior Type Hidden Profession, so no one had suspected him of being a Dragon Tamer.

Now, Lu Fan had summoned a Giant Dragon, and he was also a student at Jianghai Third Academy. If his identity was not obvious, what was?

Lu Fan had not expected Qin Qiu to have heard of him. He smiled and said. “That’s right, I’m the one who had a Profession Change, becoming a Dragon Tamer.”

“It really is you…” Qin Qiu’s beautiful eyes sparkled with an unusual light. She looked at Lu Fan, then at Xiao Ye, who was imposing in mid-air. She exclaimed, “They say Dragon Tamer is the most useless Profession, but now, it seems that statement is truly laughable. A Dragon Tamer with a Dragon is too terrifying…”

Although she did not know Xiao Ye’s Attributes, just from the pressure emanating from Xiao Ye, Qin Qiu could tell that this Dragon’s Combat Power was definitely beyond her imagination.

Originally, seeing Lu Fan at Level 14 possessing Combat Power that could surpass Sun Ge, a Level 27 Swordsman, Qin Qiu already felt that Lu Fan’s Hidden Profession was very powerful.

But now that Lu Fan had brought out a Giant Dragon, as if to say, ‘I’m not pretending anymore, I’m laying my cards on the table, which is my Dragon Pet’…

This series of revelations made even Qin Qiu question her life. Even among Hidden Professions, there were such differences…

At this moment, Sun Ge had not let his guard down despite Xiao Ye’s appearance. He frowned slightly and asked Lu Fan. “Little Brother Lu, what Level is your Dragon now?”

After Sun Ge asked, everyone suddenly realised. Since Lu Fan was only Level 15, his Dragon Pet’s Level should not be very high.

If its Level was not high, even if it was a Giant Dragon, it might not be a match for a Nightmare Boss like the Light Abhorrer.

Lu Fan crossed his arms, showing no intention of helping Xiao Ye. He calmly stated: “My Dragon is only Level 9 right now.”

“What? Level 9!?” Upon hearing this, everyone’s hearts sank again. A Level 9 fighting a Level 25, even if it was a Giant Dragon, this battle would be very uncertain…

Qin Qiu bit her lip and asked “Classmate Lu, although you have a Dragon Pet, its Level is too low. Why don’t we let the Mages beside me help attack?”

“No need!” Lu Fan waved his hand, not worried about Xiao Ye at all, “Xiao Ye can handle this Boss. We don’t need to help.”

Although Lu Fan had said this, Qin Qiu and the others were still worried.

Can it really handle this? Is that possible? After all, the opponent’s Level was nearly three times higher than the Dragon…

At this moment, the Light Abhorrer finally made its move.

From the Humanoid figure formed by lake water, a sudden burst of astonishing energy of hatred exploded out, forming whirlwinds. This was the Light Abhorrer’s Skill, Resentment Impact. This Skill not only had enormous power, but more terrifyingly, anyone hit by Resentment Impact would be inflicted with many Debuffs.

However, Xiao Ye had the Passive, Black Dragon Bloodline, giving her immunity to all Debuffs.

As for the damage from Resentment Impact, under Xiao Ye’s incredible Attributes, it was insignificant.

Resentment Impact bombarded Xiao Ye’s body, but to Xiao Ye, it was like a tickle.

Xiao Ye seemed to feel that although the opponent’s attack was ticklish, the stench was unbearable. So, she clearly got angry.

Suddenly, the crimson colour under her scales noticeably brightened, making her entire Dragon body look like a volcano about to erupt.

Xiao Ye opened her Dragon Jaw, and the red light at her neck became even more dazzling. A crimson flame suddenly spewed out from her mouth.

Lava Blaze!

The incredibly hot flames mixed with flowing magma erupted, its power leaving everyone present dumbfounded.
