Chapter 14, Another Treasure Map

“Ang!” Xiao Ye nodded like a Human. She opened her big mouth while pointing with her claws, clearly unable to wait for the tendon.

Lu Fan smiled and waved his arm, sending the huge meat tendon flying into Xiao Ye’s mouth. She chewed it a couple of times before swallowing.

After four days of clearing the area, Xiao Ye’s Level had increased rapidly. She was now Level 9.

Black Dragon King – Deathwing (Baby Dragon Form):

Agility: 767

Mana: 959

Lava Blaze (Active Skill, LV2) – Continuously spew flames forward, damaging enemies while healing self.

Dragon Jaw Strike (Active Skill, LV2) – Lunge forward a distance and use the hard Dragon Jaw to strike at the enemy, can cause Stun Effect.

Although she was only Level 9, Xiao Ye’s Attributes had tripled. They were just a step away from breaking into four digits.

That was just how terrifying her Attributes were? Moreover, most of Xiao Ye’s Skills had all risen to Level 2, receiving a decent boost.

Lu Fan planned to head home once Xiao Ye reached Level 10.

This was the Wilderness. Although he had a cell phone, there was no signal, so he did not have a way to send word to his Aunt that he was safe. Lu Fan naturally did not want her to worry about him for too long, so if he could return earlier, he would.

Just as Lu Fan finished collecting the Crimson Three-Headed Lion’s carcass and was about to take Xiao Ye to another location to continue hunting for Monsters, the System suddenly rang out – at the usual time.

[Another Treasure Map has arrived.] Lu Fan hurriedly opened the System Panel to check the Treasure Map issued today.

In the previous four days, Lu Fan had received two Low Grade Treasure Maps, one Mid Grade Treasure Map, and one High Grade Treasure Map.

Unfortunately, the coordinates of the four Treasure Maps were all too far away from him. So, he had no way to claim them.

This time, another Low Grade Treasure Map appeared in Lu Fan’s System Sub-Space. Lu Fan took a look and sure enough, his luck seemed to have been used up after claiming Xiao Ye. The coordinates of this Treasure Map were once again over a thousand kilometres away from Jianghai City.

But it was fine. Lu Fan now had three Low Grade Treasure Maps, enough to combine them.

Lu Fan used the System’s Treasure Map combining function. The three Treasure Maps disappeared and were replaced by a Mid Grade Treasure Map.

Lu Fan glanced at this map and was overjoyed.

Treasure Map (Mid Grade): Coordinates – Mountain Stone Plains (21651,53451)
It was actually a Treasure Map for the Mountain Stone Plains! He could go treasure hunting again!

Lu Fan looked at the coordinates in the map. He discovered that it was not too far from him. The journey was less than a hundred kilometres, about half a day on foot.

Xiao Ye had been stuck at Level 9 for quite a while. Lu Fan believed that by the time they reached the location of this Mid Grade Treasure Map, the Monsters killed along the way would be enough for Xiao Ye to Level Up. By then, Lu Fan could return satisfied.

Lu Fan made up his mind and immediately took Xiao Ye towards the coordinates of this Mid Grade Treasure Map.

Because Lu Fan had the Passive Skill Bloodline Sharing, not only were his Attributes high, his Stamina Recovery had also tripled. So even if he didn’t sleep all night, he was still brimming with energy.

Near noon the next day, he finally arrived at the vicinity of coordinates (21651,53451) in the Mountain Stone Plains.

This place was at the border between the central and outer areas of the Mountain Stone Plains. The Monsters’ Levels weren’t low, around Level 18.

Many undulating hills and mountains could be seen here, and the terrain was more complex.

Lu Fan climbed over a hilltop and the Treasure Map coordinate location came into view.

However, Lu Fan discovered that at the Treasure Map coordinate location, there were seven or eight people.

The other party didn’t seem to be Monster Material Hunters. After all, Monster Material Hunters mostly came to the dangerous Wilderness to hunt Monsters and collect materials out of necessity to make a living.

However, for this group, each one of them were well equipped. Judging from their high-end clothing, they shouldn’t be ordinary civilians.

Lu Fan noticed that among these few people, there was one which was particularly eye-catching. She was a beauty around the same age as him, with a Fishtail Braid. She wore a Mage robe and even had a magic staff, fixed with a white gemstone.
