Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 28, Dragon Claw

Translator: Silavin

Soon, Lu Fan’s right arm completely transformed, turning into a Dragon Claw.

Beneath the jet-black scales, a dark red light pulsed faintly with each breath, as if the Dragon Claw contained astonishing power.

However, the surprises did not end there. The Black Dragon Scale Greatsword in Lu Fan’s hand also began to change, seemingly melting and seeping into Lu Fan’s Dragon Claw.

The Black Dragon Scale Greatsword’s Special Effect, Dragon Blood Armour, had activated. It completely merged with Lu Fan’s Dragon Claw, causing it to swell, appearing even more robust.

Lu Fan waved his new ‘arm’, satisfied with the explosive power emanating from the Dragon Claw.

The Level 2 Dragon Claw combined with the Dragon Blood Armour of the Black Dragon Scale Greatsword gave Lu Fan an incredibly powerful Dragon Claw.

Although it wasn’t shown on the Attribute Panel, Lu Fan could feel that his Dragon Claw’s Strength Attribute was at least above 350!

Seeing Qin Qiu and the others frozen in shock, Lu Fan called out loudly to snap them back to reality. “Don’t just stare! I’ll take the frontline, the rest of you attacking from the rear!”

After speaking, Lu Fan stepped forward, his Dragon Claw reaching for the Despair Vengeful Zombie.

Qin Qiu and the other Mages and Archers came to their senses, knowing that this was not the time to be dazed. They hurriedly began casting spells, attacking the Boss.

As Lu Fan’s Dragon Claw struck the Despair Vengeful Zombie, it let out a roar from its throat while continuously activating Iron Chain Lash.

The rusty iron chains lashed against the Dragon Claw but failed to make Lu Fan step back even half a step.

Clearly, in terms of Strength Attribute, Lu Fan now held a firm upper hand!

The Dragon Claw suddenly slammed down, sending the Despair Vengeful Zombie flying. On the Secret Realm’s Scoreboard Panel, Lu Fan’s Damage Output surged dramatically, proving just how terrifying this strike was.

Qin Qiu and the other Mages had also begun their attacks. Qin Qiu continued to cast her Holy Light Magic. Although the damage was weakened by the Despair Vengeful Zombie’s Unending Resentment, it could still help restore Lu Fan’s Health Points.

The other Mages abandoned Fireball in favour of Ice Spike, which not only dealt higher damage to the Despair Vengeful Zombie, it also slowed down its movement speed.

At this point, apart from Lu Fan, no other frontline combatant could engage in battle with the Despair Vengeful Zombie.

Lu Fan, relying on his Dragon Claw, was entangled with the Despair Vengeful Zombie, and was firmly holding the upper hand.

At the same time, with the barrage of attacks from Qin Qiu and the other rear Mages and Archers, the Despair Vengeful Zombie howled continuously and was in a helpless state.

The suppressive power of Lu Fan’s Dragon Claw was too strong, both offensive and defensive. Even the Despair Vengeful Zombie was no match for Lu Fan.

In fact, Lu Fan was strong enough to Solo the Despair Vengeful Zombie, but with Qin Qiu and the other Range Damage Dealers, they could kill it faster.

Finally, under everyone’s concerted efforts, the Despair Vengeful Zombie let out a skyward howl. The resentment in its body bursting forth, flying into the air, and eventually dissipating.

It collapsed with a thud, turning into a pile of rotten flesh like mud, emitting a strong stench.

At last, this Secret Realm was cleared!

The numbers on everyone’s Mission Panel finally changed to 1200/1200, and then the Mission showed as completed.

Moreover, both Lu Fan and Qin Qiu were enveloped in a golden light, Levelling up to Level 15 and 14 respectively.

However, Lu Fan was a bit disappointed that there was still no news of Xiao Ye Levelling up.

It had to be said, the more powerful the race, the slower their Levels increased.

Lu Fan had thought it wouldn’t be difficult to get Xiao Ye to Level 10, but even after clearing a Secret Realm, Xiao Ye was still stuck at Level 9.

[Seems like after leaving this Secret Realm, we would need to hunt down some more Monsters.]

At this moment, everything in the entire Secret Realm began to distort and become virtual, and everyone arrived in a chaotic space.

In the chaos, three items gradually appeared, wrapped in a mysterious force, slowly floating in front of everyone.

These were the rewards for clearing the Secret Realm: a scroll, a robe, and a staff.

“We finally cleared it…” Qin Qiu’s eyes sparkled, showing a trace of fatigue and excitement.

At this point, Sun Ge also walked up, leaning on his greatsword, and spoke with satisfaction: “Yes, thanks to Little Brother Lu. Otherwise, we might have perished in the Secret Realm.”

After a pause, Sun Ge looked at the Secret Realm’s Scoreboard Panel and said: “According to the rules we have agreed upon, Little Brother Lu, you can go ahead and choose your reward.”

The Scoreboard Panel showed that Lu Fan was far ahead of the rest. His Damage Output was more than ten times that of Qin Qiu, who was in second place!

According to the rules, Lu Fan naturally had the right to choose his reward first.

Lu Fan deactivated the Dragon Claw Skill, letting his arm return to normal. He retrieved his Black Dragon Scale Greatsword and stepped forward. He began to scan over the three rewards one by one.

The names and effects of the items were all taken in by Lu Fan’s eyes
