Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 441: Chapter 440: Taking a Stake

Wang Jianming and Ke Xiuhua exchanged a glance, only to see shock written in each other’s eyes.

”You... how did you know?” Wang Jianming was amazed and then glanced at his son Wang Tong, saying in a deep voice, ”Wang Tong, did you tell him?”

Wang Tong said helplessly, ”Dad, Mom, haven’t I told you already? Doctor Ye is a very awesome doctor at our school, who doesn’t need to use medical equipment for examination and can even diagnose illnesses accurately without feeling the pulse like Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors do.”

Upon hearing this, both Wang Jianming and Ke Xiuhua were utterly shocked. At first, they thought Ye Haochuan was just a swindler, but after what had just happened, they could no longer underestimate him.

”I am a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We emphasize looking, smelling, asking, and feeling the pulse. It’s not only by feeling the pulse that we can diagnose illnesses. We just need to look at your ’qi’ to accurately determine what’s wrong,” Ye Haochuan explained lightly.

Only then did Wang Jianming and Ke Xiuhua come to a realization. Although they had never consulted a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor before, they were aware of the principle of looking, smelling, asking, and feeling the pulse.

Thus, the couple was beginning to believe what Ye Haochuan had said.

However, Wang Jianming opted for caution, saying, ”Fine, as long as you can cure my son’s innate kidney deficiency, I would willingly pay ten billion, not just one billion, for the diagnosis fee.”

As a traditional entrepreneur from the older generation, Wang Jianming placed great importance on family inheritance. If his son’s kidney deficiency could not be cured, affecting the succession of the family lineage, then who would inherit the great wealth he had worked so hard to build?

”But, Doctor Ye, if you can’t cure my son’s illness, don’t blame me for being unpleasant towards you,” Ke Xiuhua snorted.

Wow, this Mrs. Ke is quite assertive, huh!

Glancing at Ke Xiuhua, Ye Haochuan chuckled and did not argue, only smiling at Wang Jianming, ”Go to the first-floor payment hall and settle the remaining ninety million first.”

”Alright, then wait here for a moment,” Wang Jianming said, and then he opened the door, signaling his bodyguard outside to go and make the payment.

About ten minutes later, the bodyguard returned, bringing the payment receipt with him.

Ye Haochuan took the receipt, took out one of his self-cultivated Nourishing Yin and Strengthening Kidney Pills, and glanced at Wang Tong, ”Take it with water and I guarantee your illness will be cured immediately.”

”Okay, Doctor Ye.”

Wang Tong had been keeping up with the news about him these days and knew Ye Haochuan had saved many patients with intractable diseases, so he had great confidence in him. Thus, he picked up the so-called Nourishing Yin and Strengthening Kidney Pills without hesitation, about to swallow them, when Ke Xiuhua suddenly said, ”Why ’nourishing yin’ and ’strengthening kidney’? Shouldn’t it be ’reinforcing yang’ to strengthen the kidney?”

This woman surely knows how to nitpick.

Ye Haochuan shook his head and said, ”Please, your son is severely kidney deficient right now. If you take the reinforcing yang approach, that would only further deplete his kidney qi potential. If you don’t want your son to be impotent, he should honestly take the medicine I prescribed.”

”I see,” Ke Xiuhua said, finally understanding.

Ye Haochuan then told Wang Tong, ”By the way, you’ve been taking Viagra and the like recently, haven’t you? Remember, you can’t take that anymore. Otherwise, even if I cure your kidney deficiency, if you keep doing that, you’ll still end up impotent in the future.”

”Ah, is it that serious?” Wang Tong was taken aback.

”Do you think I’m trying to scare you?” Ye Haochuan said flatly.

”Oh, oh, oh, I understand, I’ll listen to you, Doctor Ye,” Wang Tong nodded frantically.

”Now, take the medicine quickly, and you’ll see the effect,” Ye Haochuan urged.

”Okay.” Wang Tong tipped his head back and swallowed the Nourishing Yin and Strengthening Kidney Pills in one gulp.

Soon, Wang Tong felt a warmth in his lower abdomen.

Wang Jianming and Ke Xiuhua watched their son’s reaction with both anxiety and excitement.

”Son, how do you feel?” Ke Xiuhua asked eagerly.

”I feel okay.” It was a bit embarrassing, and Wang Tong’s face turned red as he spoke.

Wang Jianming and Ke Xiuhua’s expressions finally eased.

However, Wang Jianming soon looked at Ye Haochuan with suspicion and asked, ”Doctor Ye, that Nourishing Yin and Strengthening Kidney Pills of yours wouldn’t be some random aphrodisiac found on the market, would they?”

Damn, I can’t believe you, old man!

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but smile wryly, ”If you don’t believe me, you’re more than welcome to take him to a big hospital for a check-up right now.”

”There’s no need for that. We’ve brought our personal doctor. I’ll have him come in and examine my son right now,” Ke Xiuhua insisted.

Damn, so they came prepared!

With an indifferent smile, Ye Haochuan said, ”As you wish.”

Ke Xiuhua then opened the door and invited in a middle-aged man wearing glasses and casual clothes, who was carrying a small medical equipment case.

”Doctor Hao, please examine my son and see if he still shows symptoms of kidney deficiency,” Ke Xiuhua requested.

”Of course, ma’am,” Doctor Hao set the medical case on a nearby table, took out several medical instruments, and began a careful examination of Wang Tong, asking him questions from time to time.

After a while, Doctor Hao looked amazed: ”Incredible, absolutely incredible. The symptoms of kidney deficiency, like dizziness, night sweats, and tinnitus, have completely disappeared from Young Master Wang. With proper care for a bit longer, he can be just like a normal person.”

”Really?” Wang Jianming was overjoyed.

Ke Xiuhua, on the other hand, was somewhat embarrassed, stealing a glance at Ye Haochuan, at a loss for words.

After a moment, Wang Jianming waved Doctor Hao away, then looked at Ye Haochuan with admiration, ”Doctor Ye is truly remarkable. We’ve sought many specialists and professors, both domestic and international, and they’ve all been helpless against my son’s condition. Yet, with Doctor Ye, he was cured. Doctor Ye, my wife and I were out of line earlier, please do accept our apologies.”

”No problem at all, no problem...” Ye Haochuan smiled, ”Now that your son’s condition is cured, you should feel free to go.”

He still had to practice the Longevity Technique, how could he have time to linger with them?

However, Wang Jianming didn’t hurry to leave. Instead, he earnestly asked Ye Haochuan to treat his own renal failure and his wife Ke Xiuhua’s congenital lumbar disease.

”Well...” Ye Haochuan hesitated for a moment.

”Doctor Ye, don’t worry about the consultation fee, we can discuss that,” Wang Jianming quickly stated, thinking Ye Haochuan was reluctant.

”Actually, the conditions you and your wife have are not severe. They can be gradually treated with medicinal cuisine. Here’s what we’ll do, come back after some time. Our Haishan University Affiliated Hospital is currently refurbishing the Ye Family Medicinal Cuisine Shop. You could visit there more frequently later on...”

”That’s no problem. However, we’re busy with business every day, and it’s not convenient to make the trip here,” Wang Jianming said hesitantly.

Ye Haochuan pondered for a while, ”That would indeed be somewhat troublesome.”

”The Medicinal Cuisine Shop?” Ke Xiuhua suddenly thought of something and hurriedly asked, ”Doctor Ye, isn’t this Ye Family Medicinal Cuisine Shop yours by any chance?”

Ye Haochuan smiled, ”Actually, it’s opened by the hospital in my name, but I’m only responsible for providing the essential medicines for the cuisine, not the specific operations.”

”Oh,” Ke Xiuhua nodded, ”Right, Doctor Ye, does this Ye Family Medicinal Cuisine Shop have any branches in Pudong District?”

”No,” Ye Haochuan shook his head, ”I just established this Ye Family Medicinal Cuisine Shop. However, in the future, once we have sufficient funds and resources, we will consider opening branches throughout Haishan City.”

”Doctor Ye, why wait for sufficient funds and resources? How about this, the Wang Family will invest. Money isn’t an issue, and our prosperous Wang Family Real Estate is plentiful throughout Haishan City,” Wang Jianming said with hopeful anticipation.

If he hadn’t just witnessed it himself, he wouldn’t have been so confident, but as a businessman, he knew he had to seize the opportunity after seeing Ye Haochuan’s capabilities.

”You want to invest?” Ye Haochuan’s eyelids twitched, damn, this was a great opportunity.
