Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 418: Chapter 417 Protest

After wandering around the small town streets for a while, Ye Haochuan found a repair shop and had them work on the QQ car with the engine trouble. Then he casually bought some milk and bread for breakfast at a small supermarket before heading back to the hostel.

”Come on, come on, two beauties, come have breakfast so we can hit the road after we’re done eating,” Ye Haochuan said, placing the breakfast he bought on the table and calling out to them.

Upon hearing this, Zhao Bingqian’s face lit up with delight. ”Uncle is so considerate, knowing someone was hungry, hee hee.”

Beaming with joy, the girl reached for a small bread roll and started eating. While eating, she also called out, ”Big sis, what are you spacing out for? Eat too!”

”I lose my appetite whenever I see a certain someone!” Zhao Ruqian glared at Ye Haochuan with a venomous look, a gaze so full of hatred that if looks could kill, Ye Haochuan might have died hundreds of times by now.

Oddly enough, faced with his eldest sister-in-law’s sharp gaze, Ye Haochuan inexplicably felt guilty and dared not look her in the eye.

He was conscious of his guilt regarding last night’s incident. After all, getting involved with his eldest sister-in-law behind his future wife’s back wasn’t exactly something to be proud of if the word got out. Besides, the temperament of the eldest sister-in-law was evidently gentle on the outside but tough on the inside. Who knew if she might suddenly lash out?

If she decided to confront him and create a scene that could lead to mutual destruction, that would be terrible. Matters of life and death aside, losing one’s honor was a far greater concern. Should she really take such action, his good reputation would be greatly tarnished.

”Lose your appetite seeing a certain someone?” Zhao Bingqian was confused for a moment.

However, being quick-witted, she immediately thought of Ye Haochuan and glared at him, ”Uncle, what’s going on?”

”How would I know what’s going on?” Ye Haochuan was startled, ”I’m not your brother-in-law, why are you asking me?”

As soon as these words came out, Zhao Ruqian’s tone shot up several decibels as she clenched her fists tighter, ”What did you say?”

Seeing her big sister suddenly explode for no apparent reason, Zhao Bingqian was startled and thought to herself, what in the world was going on? She asked, ”Sis, are you okay? Did uncle bully you? Tell me, I swear I’ll beat him to death.”

If I told you, would you really dare to beat him to death? Would you even bear to do it?

Zhao Ruqian’s face showed a hint of helplessness, and her beautiful eyes were slightly red and swollen, looking extremely weary, ”Forget it, it’s nothing. It’s all in the past, I don’t want to bring it up again.”

Zhao Bingqian always respected her sister and sensed something off in her tone, unwilling to let it go, she pressed, ”Big sis, what exactly happened?”

Zhao Ruqian shook her head, clearly not wanting to talk about last night’s upsetting event.

On the other hand, Ye Haochuan was getting a little anxious. Staying here was like sitting on a powder keg, ready to explode. He slapped his forehead and said, ”Ah, that’s right, I just remembered when I was paying for breakfast, I lost my wallet. I’ll go look for it.”

”Hold on.” Zhao Bingqian grabbed him, ”Don’t even think about slipping away without giving us a clear explanation. Tell me, what exactly is going on?”

With nowhere to escape, Ye Haochuan had no choice but to say, ”It’s like this, last night.... last night I accidentally saw your sister’s body, and she caught me.”

How shameless this bastard is, as if last night was merely about seeing my body!

Zhao Ruqian was so angry she could bite her teeth off, wishing she could tear him into pieces, yet her face turned red with embarrassment and her ears burned. This scoundrel, he actually brought it up, it was so humiliating.

”You gotta be kidding me!” Zhao Bingqian kicked Ye Haochuan, ”You dead uncle, stinky uncle, how dare you take liberties with my sister?”

”It was just an accidental glance, can’t really count as taking liberties, right? Besides, it was pitch dark at the time. I just saw a white blur, really fuzzy, didn’t make out anything!” Ye Haochuan justified with a thick skin.

”If that doesn’t count as taking liberties, then what does?” Zhao Bingqian couldn’t help but kick him again fiercely, then seized his collar, ”When did this happen? How come I don’t remember?”

”It was exactly when you went to the restroom.”

”Oh, no wonder. Now tell me honestly, did you do anything to my sister while I was away?” Zhao Bingqian pointed her finger at his nose and said.

”No, absolutely not. Even if I had the crooked thoughts, I didn’t have the guts!” Ye Haochuan shamelessly declared.

Good one, having the thoughts but not the courage. I think you have both!

Hearing his response, Zhao Ruqian’s eyes almost spat fire.

”Really?” Zhao Bingqian, oblivious to the situation, asked doubtfully.

”Of course, it’s true. If you don’t believe me, you can ask your sister,” Ye Haochuan asserted boldly, tilting his neck defiantly.

No wonder he thought this way; if this auntie-in-law really wanted to accuse him, she would have said so already. Why would she hide it until now?

As expected, when faced with her sister’s questioning, Zhao Ruqian could only grit her teeth and swallow hard, nodding her head: ”Your boyfriend may be a bit frivolous, but he wouldn’t dare to mess around in front of me.”

Aye, this auntie-in-law, truly a paragon of our Huaxia’s traditional women, capable of tolerating even after being insulted!

Ye Haochuan was overjoyed inside. Looking across the whole Huaxia, how many could achieve what I have? To have forced myself on the auntie-in-law, and yet she still covers up for me. What a thrill!

However, on the surface, he remained earnest, afraid of any complications, and said, ”Yes, yes, Sister Ruqian is right. I wouldn’t dare say for others, but in front of Sister Ruqian, I’m just an honest man, I really don’t dare mess around.”

An honest man?

Zhao Ruqian felt an urge to rush forward and slap him hard across the face. If this rascal were an honest man, pigs would be laughing.

Zhao Bingqian, however, was convinced and, after threatening Ye Haochuan a bit, she called the three of them to have breakfast.

After breakfast, the trio went downstairs, settled the bill with the landlady, and then left.

Ye Haochuan first visited the repair shop and, after finding out the car was fixed, he paid and drove the car away. He picked up Zhao Bingqian and her sister and headed back to town.

Half an hour later, Ye Haochuan dropped the two women off at Zhao Ruqian’s home. He originally wanted to go inside for a visit, but seeing the murderous look in the auntie-in-law’s eyes, he had no choice but to drive away. As for Zhao Bingqian, the little girl stayed to keep her sister company.

Since his Medical Practice License had been revoked by the Health Bureau, Ye Haochuan didn’t go to the affiliated hospital for work. Instead, he went straight back to his rented apartment, where he spent his days either practicing Martial Arts Path or making Pills, living a tight but comfortable life.

In the meantime, Tong Xiangxiu and Han Xue’er both called to inquire about his situation from the night before. After giving a brief explanation, he got busy again.

However, what he didn’t know was that at that very moment, the school-affiliated hospital was packed with people. Countless patients and family members who had registered for his consultation were crowding the hospital entrance. When they heard from someone in the know that Ye Haochuan had been framed by the villains of the Health Bureau, everyone became emotionally charged.

”What? Junior Godly Doctor Ye’s medical skills are superb, and he’s been framed by the villains at the Health Bureau, and his medical practice license was revoked?”

”We came specifically for Junior Godly Doctor Ye, what is the Health Bureau trying to do? This is infuriating.”

”Let’s go; all of us family members will go to the Health Bureau right away. If they don’t restore Junior Godly Doctor Ye’s medical qualifications, we’ll take down the Health Bureau.”

Before long, the patients and family members at the scene organized themselves into a group of over a hundred, hired more than a dozen vans, and headed towards the Health Bureau in a grand procession. A protest of no small scale spontaneously kicked off.
