Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 428: Chapter 427 Healing

Hearing that Ye Haochuan was about to treat her daughter, Tao Ying immediately passed her daughter over to him.

Ye Haochuan took her, and perhaps because the little girl was only four or five years old and highly dependent on her mother, she showed great resistance to strangers, so she started crying on the spot.

Tao Ying was about to soothe her daughter, but Ye Haochuan waved his hand, ”No need!”

After speaking, he waved his hand, and a gentle True Qi brushed over the little girl’s body, sealing her acupoints, and instantly she could no longer move, and with her neck tilting, she fell into a deep sleep.

”The room is cramped, could everyone please step out...” Ye Haochuan instructed.

”Alright, let’s go, everyone out, don’t disturb Junior Godly Doctor Ye in his treatment,” Old Master Xiang commanded with a sweep of his hand.

Subsequently, everyone left the living room one by one, stepping outside, leaving only Tao Ying in the room.

Then, with a wave of his hand, Ye Haochuan summoned the Strange Fire King Cauldron from his storage ring and chanted an incantation. In a short time, the cauldron grew larger and larger, dazzling Tao Ying’s eyes and further convincing her that Ye Haochuan was no ordinary person and greatly different from the Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors she had in mind.

”Go turn on the kitchen faucet,” Ye Haochuan ordered Tao Ying.

”Oh.” Tao Ying immediately ran to the kitchen and did as told.

Seeing the water gushing from the faucet, Ye Haochuan settled his qi in his Dantian, and then exhaled sharply. Instantly, the True Qi emanating from his body condensed in the air.

However, True Qi is invisible and intangible, but after a moment, the water from the faucet changed direction, seemingly suspended in mid-air and enveloped by the air, forming a stream that flowed into the Strange Fire King Cauldron.

This scene once again astounded Tao Ying.

After a while, when the water inside the Strange Fire King Cauldron was sufficient, Ye Haochuan called over to Tao Ying to turn off the faucet.

Following that, Ye Haochuan activated his True Qi, continuously channeling it into the Strange Fire King Cauldron. Soon, the water began to boil, and he then threw in all the prepared herbs, which included a good amount of precious Bone Tempering Pills.

Some time passed, and the water boiled again, emitting a refreshing fragrance from the cauldron that was thoroughly uplifting.

Even Tao Ying, caught off guard by the wonder, couldn’t help but be intoxicated by it.

So it continued for about ten minutes or so, when suddenly wisps of green vapor emerged from the cauldron. This vapor was dense and did not disperse, creating a stunningly beautiful sight.

Feeling that the efficacy of the medicine in the cauldron was almost ready, Ye Haochuan then added a large amount of several other powdered herbs.

Soon, the previously liquid medicine in the cauldron turned into a thick paste.

At that point, Ye Haochuan stripped the little girl Tongtong of her clothes, leaving her none, and then held her as he placed her into the cauldron, ensuring her entire lower body was submerged in the paste.

Because Tongtong was unconscious and lacked any conscious awareness at that moment, Ye Haochuan continued to channel True Qi, making sure the little girl could maintain a seated position and not suffocate by falling face down into the medicinal paste.

After soaking for about twenty minutes, Ye Haochuan suddenly lifted Tongtong out of the cauldron.

To Tao Ying’s disbelief, her daughter’s lower body and legs seemed to have become much softer, but her legs’ skin and flesh were still tender and fresh.

The principle behind this therapy was actually to utilize the characteristics of the Bone Tempering Pill, re-refining the body’s skeleton to allow it to become soft and resilient under the immersion of the liquefied medicinal paste and then further corrected, ensuring that under the subsequent treatments, it becomes just like that of a normal person.

With True Qi, Ye Haochuan gently floated Tongtong in mid-air, continuing to channel the gentle Longevity True Qi and focusing it on her deformed legs, slowly correcting them...

This process was very slow because Tongtong was still young, and large movements would cause her unbearable pain once she awoke.

After ten minutes, Ye Haochuan finally finished correcting her legs and continued to use True Qi to secure them, eventually taking out a Body-Strengthening Pill for Tongtong to swallow.

Not long after, Tongtong’s body began to emit waves of sweat, with large amounts of grime oozing from her pores. Ye Haochuan then asked Tao Ying to fetch some hot water from the kitchen heater for Tongtong to rinse her body.

After rinsing, all the filth on Tongtong’s body disappeared, revealing skin as clear and lustrous as jade, just like a porcelain doll meticulously crafted and polished.

Then, Ye Haochuan took out the prepared Silver Needles and started Acupuncture on some important Acupoints across her body.

Because of the medicinal paste immersion, her skin and flesh might look unaffected, but the nervous system had become dull, necessitating Acupuncture to stimulate blood circulation.

Another ten minutes passed and Ye Haochuan suddenly withdrew all the Silver Needles, then unlocked the Acupoints, at which the unconscious Tongtong abruptly woke up, crying out as soon as she saw her mother, ”Mommy, Mommy...”

Tao Ying, thinking her daughter was crying out of pain, tearfully asked, ”Tongtong, where does it hurt, where does it hurt, tell Mommy?”

”Tongtong doesn’t hurt, doesn’t hurt...” Tongtong said in her childish voice.

Tao Ying looked at Ye Haochuan incredulously, thinking to herself how her daughter could be pain-free considering the high temperature from the cauldron a moment ago was unbearable even for her standing nearby?

Ye Haochuan saw what was on her mind but offered no explanation. He retracted the True Qi, put down Tongtong, and said to Tao Ying, ”All right, go dress your daughter, her polio is cured. From now on, she will be able to walk like a normal person.”

Upon hearing this, Tao Ying couldn’t wait to have Tongtong take a few steps, and sure enough, after trying and failing a few times, Tongtong finally stood up straight and even playfully hopped around.

”This is... too incredible, just too incredible.” Tao Ying marveled, crying tears of joy.

Ye Haochuan smiled contentedly and then placed the Strange Fire King Cauldron into his storage ring, subsequently advising, ”Ms. Tao, remember this, where there is an effect, there was a cause. Tongtong’s disease was due to your past misdeeds. In the future, remember to do more good deeds and do them sincerely. Also, you need to tell your husband to be more even-tempered, as a too volatile temper can lead to disaster. Only by doing so can you ensure the health and safety of your family, otherwise, retribution will find its way back to you.”

”Yes, yes, Junior Godly Doctor Ye, I remember.” At this moment, Tao Ying could no longer underestimate Ye Haochuan, repeatedly nodding with gratitude in her eyes.

”Now, dress Tongtong and go open the door. Share the good news with Old Master Xiang,” Ye Haochuan waved his hand.

Tao Ying oh’d, quickly dressed Tongtong, and then opened the door.

Outside, Tao Dongsheng and the rest of Old Master Xiang’s family had already been anxiously waiting. On seeing Tongtong hopping around lively, everyone was both shocked and overjoyed, and their admiration for Ye Haochuan’s unparalleled medical skills grew.

For a time, the room was filled with praise.

But Ye Haochuan just smiled it off.

Just then, the elevator in the corridor opened, and a man in military uniform rushed out, none other than the battalion commander Ma Tao.

Seeing his daughter running around crazily on the ground, Ma Tao’s eyes widened in astonishment. After his shock turned into ecstasy, he exclaimed, ”Tongtong, you can walk?”
