【Subscribe】_1 Sharp knife-like forelegs rapidly descend!

The sharp end exudes an intimidating chill!

However, no one can actually see it!

Can you perceive the speed of sound?

Infeasible!

Therefore, you also cannot see Jia Yan!

Especially up close, the further away the Big Mosquito is, all you see is a fleeting silhouette, just a string of afterimages whizzing by!

This is what is happening with Jia Yan now!

Yet, he can only see the indistinct surroundings; he cannot discern the surroundings!

The metal monster growing closer and closer is only becoming more blurred.

The closer it gets, the larger it is magnified, and Jia Yan can no longer distinguish the detailed structures on the rival’s body!

“Extend your forelegs, quickly!”

Jia Yan screams in his mind!

His knife-like cuticle had stretched halfway, but he could not keep up with the speed!

The speed of sound is too dreadful!

The adversary that was far-off just now has rapidly approached!

So fast that Jia Yan doesn’t even have time to react!

Barely after Jia Yan thought of ‘attacking’, the metal monster had already reached upfront!

He is totally caught off guard!

Yet, the good mindset that Jia Yan maintained throughout the battle was illustrated at this moment!

Under such tense circumstances, an average person would make continuous mistakes, but Jia Yan’s mindset is indeed excellent.

He stabilizes his mental state while repeating the mantra: “I can handle it!

I can do it!”

Upon this thought, his stretched knife-like cuticle finally steadied!

All these incidents happened in an instant!

Just when Jia Yan perceived his steady mindset and was about to breathe a sigh of relief!

Shluurp–!

He felt that something had speared through his claw-like cuticle!

Dramatic!

Has it already hit something!?

Jia Yan was taken aback!

The speed of sound is too fast, too quick!

How could the metal monsters possibly react to the velocity that even Jia Yan was startled by!?

At this stage, some of the metal monsters were still attacking towards the direction where the Big Mosquito was previously positioned!

However, those red lights just pierced the night, voyaging into infinite darkness.

Regardless of the Big Mosquito, not even a single hair on a mosquito could cross its path!

While these creatures were conducting their attacks, the Giant Mosquito Monster, which had troubled them so much, had already reached the ground and attacked one of their counterparts!

Don’t forget, these metal monsters have a unique way of communication.

When Jia Yan attacked the metal monster, this monster’s information was conveyed to every other monster present by this method.

Each of them acknowledged that the Giant Mosquito Monster attacking (them) has already reached the ground and attacked one of their comrades!

Right at this moment, Jia Yan’s body swiftly stabbed into the metal monster!

Jia Yan forced himself to look at the creature he stabbed during this time!

Well done, it’s certainly that metal monster!

The point of penetration was slightly off from his expectation, but fortunately, it tore apart the metal monster’s ‘heart’ shell!

The metal monster lost its attacking capability in a flash.

Its wounded part doesn’t seem to be severely damaged.

It lost its attacking capability but it continued to report Jia Yan’s location to other metal monsters.

These monsters, by some unknown calculation method, directed the red light towards the path Jia Yan was going to take!

Luckily, Jia Yan’s flight mode is flexible.

As he penetrated through the metal monster, he had already taken an evasive action.

Despite the monster’s high computational capabilities, with his supersonic speed and its evasion, it is in a predicament!

Boom boom boom!!——

A dozen red lights poured onto the ground.

These red-light attacks were equivalent to the sweeping attack of numerous giant shelling, displaying immense power.

No matter how formidable they were, if they missed their target, they were useless!

In the sky, Jia Yan noticed that the accuracy of the metal monsters’ attacks suddenly improved, and immediately realized that the metal monster he pierced through lost its attacking and self-detonating abilities, but it was still alive.

“So it was you who was meddling!” A gleam flashed in Jia Yan’s compound eyes!

Then, his other front leg vigorously stabbed into this metal monster’s heart; this time, it completely destroyed it.

Only then did he throw this monster from the sky to the ground!

“Excellent!

Now that I’ve discovered the weaknesses and reaction speed of these metal monsters, it’s time for me to show them what I’m truly capable of!”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes were glowing as he looked down at the metal monsters below him.

In the series of battles that followed, there were both offensive and defensive games being played, some of which brought danger to Jia Yan.

However, the truth is, Jia Yan’s power is far superior to these metal monsters.

Now that he has understood their strategies, he can counteract with his own plans!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

——

The giant mosquito took flight!

Breaking the sound barrier once again!

The metal monsters have some powerful traits that caused Jia Yan to fall into a crisis several times before.

The first is their ability to communicate with each other.

This kind of communication gives them a significant advantage.

As soon as one of them engages in battle with Jia Yan, the others immediately receive the relevant information and when they fight him, they directly exploit his weaknesses!

The second is the metal monsters’ ability to self-detonate, which might be what Jia Yan currently fears the most!

After all, he can withstand several Red Light Attacks without any worry.

But the power of their self-detonations is another story.

Their destructive power can’t be matched by any of the current weapons used by the earthlings!

This self-detonation seems to have a special penetrating power, able to effectively penetrate Jia Yan’s defense!

The coagulate and exoskeleton on his body can easily be broken, while the bluish defense doesn’t have enough time to defend, it will get hit and damaged!

Aside from these two factors, Jia Yan is essentially unafraid of anything else.

After all, his power after mutation is incomparable to what he had in the past.

Now, Jia Yan’s attack method has changed after he figures out the attack mode and advantages of his opponents.

The fact that the metal monsters can communicate doesn’t matter!

Jia Yan can target those who are alone.

Once their power reaches a certain level, their shared information advantage becomes futile!

As for the metal monsters’ ability to self-detonate, Jia Yan’s solution is —— to annihilate them at the fastest speed, before they have time to react!

When it comes to sonic attacks, to put it bluntly, it’s just Jia Yan being violent!

Anything reaching the speed of sound becomes unimaginable.

If he were to crash into something at this speed, it would cause a tremendous impact.

For instance, if Jia Yan wanted to crash into a building, the whole structure would collapse under his impact, just by him rushing at it at the speed of sound!

Given Jia Yan’s size and mass, coupled with the speed of sound, his impact is just dreadfully powerful, to say the least.

Naturally, Jia Yan wouldn’t resort to such mutually destructive methods!

His current combat style is to employ his supersonic attacks, and then launch his assault when the metal monsters cannot respond quickly enough.

As it appears right now, his idea is not a mistaken one!

However, this mode of attack is immensely exhausting!

Really exhausting!

Jia Yan also feels as though he’s using a cannon to kill ‘mosquitoes’, even though he should technically be the mosquito on the receiving end…

The sonic attack should not be used against these metal monsters.

After all, once Jia Yan has familiarized himself with them, they don’t seem to be terribly scary.

But if Jia Yan doesn’t proceed in this way, he can’t guarantee his own safety…

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

——

Big Mosquito’s figure dives again from the speed of sound, impaling a metal monster on its foreleg cuticle!

Only after he had exhausted himself by killing this metal monster did he realize his biggest weakness!

“So that’s what I’m missing…a long-range attack method!

No wonder I always feel so tired when fighting!”

He finally realizes his shortcoming!

Up till now, his method of attack has always been close combat.

While it might not have seemed disadvantageous before, now that his power has reached this level and his opponents have evolved from organisms to combat machines, metal monsters, and human warriors, his greatest weakness has been revealed!

That is, he doesn’t possess any long-range attack methods!

“If I had a long-range method of attack, even if it wasn’t particularly strong, it would at least be somewhat helpful!

But, how could I possess such a method?”

As Jia Yan kept battling, he gradually began to relax.

The decreasing number of metal monsters on the battlefield was making things easier for him, especially as the use of sonic warfare seemed to make the monsters helpless!

Breaking the sound barrier time and again, and attacking time and again!

The numbers of the metal monsters rapidly decreased!

But, the fatigue that Jia Yan was accumulating was also increasing rapidly.

However, thanks to his sonic warfare techniques, the danger to Jia Yan was significantly minimized.

The metal monsters were simply unable to locate him, and even on the rare occasions he would attack and miss, he would quickly slip away from the monsters’ location.

Even if they wanted to self-detonate, they wouldn’t have time to do so!

So Jia Yan allowed himself to relax a little during the battle.

He pondered over his greatest shortcoming, which is not having a long-range attack method, and how he could resolve this issue.

The number of metal monsters decreased, and the remaining ones were merely opponents for Jia Yan’s combat experiences!

In the end, only one metal monster was left.
