!【Seeking Subscription】_1 How fast must it be at full speed!

“This…” Jia Yan was astonished.

He understood clearly that breaking the sound barrier might not seem overly fast to a regular fighter jet, as the F-15J he dealt with not long ago theoretically reached top speeds of up to 2,700 kilometers per hour.

Compared to this terrifying speed, 1,200 kilometers per hour was nothing special.

But still, Jia Yan wasn’t at full speed either.

He could even feel that he was barely able to sustain this speed, maintaining it for at least half an hour of cruising flight!

It’s known that regular aircraft fly at speeds close to the speed of sound, such as 900 kilometers per hour.

Not because they can’t fly faster, but because breaking the sound barrier drastically increases fuel consumption and wear and tear.

Therefore, even though most planes can exceed the speed of sound, and even fourth-generation fighters like the F-15J can exceed it by more than twice, their regular cruising speed is, in reality, just over 1,000 kilometers per hour!

Jia Yan was using his own power; as long as he had energy, he wouldn’t worry about any so-called ‘fuel consumption’ problems.

“This is another advantage I have.

The only question is, just how fast is my maximum flight speed?”

With that thought, Jia Yan increased his flight speed.

What Jia Yan didn’t notice was that, as he continued to exert force, a faint azure layer suddenly appeared on the muscles of his wings!

Whistle!

Whistle!

Whistle!!!!

The Big Mosquito’s wings flapped even more fiercely, the noise resembling that of a jet plane echoing through the vast sky and shaking the wilderness.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

——

The body of the Big Mosquito, which was already exceeding the speed of sound, sped up again!

And the degree of this speed up was not small!

Jia Yan only felt that the scenery around him was retreating madly!

At this moment, he was still flying in the high sky more than 2,000 meters above the ground.

He just felt that this high altitude was the real place for flying, where the heart was exhilarated by the scenery, the freshness of the air, and the vast and empty surroundings.

This kind of grand, unrestrained flying style was precisely what he truly desired!

When his speed increased beyond the speed of sound, the land of the Wa Kingdom behind him was retreating rapidly!

Jia Yan could not estimate his own speed, only knowing that it was much faster than breaking the sound barrier before!

Whoo!

Whoo!

Whoo!!

——

The sound had not even formed ‘near his antennae’ when it was thrown to the back.

Jia Yan found that he could hardly hear any sound even though he himself should have been very noisy.

It felt as if he had entered a silent world.

The air around him was icy cold.

Considering the speed at which he was moving, the violent cold wind had left Jia Yan experiencing coldness beyond what he had felt at a height of 4,500 meters!

“Alas, it’s still the temperature limit.

I feel like I could still speed up a bit.”

Jia Yan felt quite helpless and gradually slowed down his speed.

During the slowdown process, he noticed something: where there was no sound beside his body, suddenly there was a sound – the sound of his wings flapping fiercely!

Then Jia Yan finally slowed down to below the speed of sound.

He flexed the muscles of his wings and glided through the sky, flying silently into the distance!

“Goodbye, Wa Kingdom.

I’ve completed my mission here, even though I didn’t see your so-called Divine Object.

My purpose has been achieved, and the Divine Objects in both your land and in the subterranean world of Huaxia will have to be researched on some future visit.”

Jia Yan’s compound eyes reflected a far-off gaze, taking one last look at the land behind him.

He had experienced numerous events in the Wa Kingdom, killed self-defense force members and even destroyed two of their warplanes!

Of course, what Jia Yan didn’t know was that his most ‘significant achievement’ was indirectly causing Mount Fuji to erupt!

And the metallic monsters released are still rampaging on the land of the Wa Kingdom, and for unknown reasons, these monsters have spread globally, although Jia Yan hasn’t seen them yet.

The Big Mosquito took flight, and of course, this figure was also showing up on the Wa Kingdom’s early warning radar!

“This mysterious object has left.

The speed is dropping; it’s currently around 370 kilometers per hour,” said the radar operator, breathing a sigh of relief.

If this enigma continued to penetrate the Wa Kingdom, he would have to report it to his superior.

They would likely have to dispatch fighter jets to intercept it or launch missiles or some kind of anti-aircraft gun for defense.

After all, judging by its speed and size, this object was no ordinary entity.

If it really were some kind of threatening weapon, defense measures would absolutely be necessary.

But now this object didn’t continue to advance towards the Wa Kingdom, but mysteriously veered in mid-air, first breaking the sound barrier, even reaching an astonishing speed of about 1,800 kilometers per hour, before slowing down to roughly 400 kilometers per hour.

A speed of one thousand eight hundred kilometers per hour?!

What on earth is it?!

Thankfully, the object gradually moved out of the range of the Japanese island.

They could finally breathe a sigh of relief!

The war within Wa Kingdom had become rather intense, with the whole country, centred around Mount Fuji, almost turned into scorched earth!

If something were to approach Wa Kingdom now, they simply would have no energy left to deal with it!

That’s right!

Within just one week, the kingdom had sustained heavy losses from the onslaught of the metal monsters.

Perhaps it’s because this was the first place in the world where these metal monsters had erupted from, the number of these monsters in Wa Kingdom was now over —— three hundred thousand!

Three hundred thousand metal monsters that were impervious to ordinary weapons and possessed incredibly powerful attacks!

Even if these monsters would ‘shut down’ after too many attacks because they ran out of energy, if a metal monster doesn’t make continuous attacks, who knows how long its energy could last!

Apart from these incapacitated metal monsters due to excessive attacks, the ones destroyed by Wa Kingdom’s military forces were very, very few.

The total number, including those eliminated by both the military and the civilians through various methods, didn’t exceed a thousand!

As for the number of the metal monsters that ran out of energy and became immobilized, it was estimated to exceed ten thousand!

Even counting those destroyed by the people of Wa Kingdom, the combat power lost by the metal monsters only made up one-thirtieth, there were still a whopping two-hundred and ninety thousand metal monsters waiting for the people of Wa Kingdom to eradicate!

But in reality, could they rid themselves of these three hundred thousand metal monsters that were rampaging everywhere in groups?

Unlikely!

Naturally, the people of Wa Kingdom didn’t know that the peculiar being displayed on the radar was the giant mosquito monster that had caused a huge stir in Wa Kingdom a week ago.

Although the sensation it had caused back then was just a mere appetizer compared to the emergence of the metal monster army now, as a hot topic at that time, many people still remembered that giant mosquito!

Some even insisted that the ‘beginning’ of everything was due to the appearance of this giant mosquito monster!

Therefore, the people of Wa Kingdom had named this giant mosquito monster — ‘Beginning’!

Of course, this was just the privately held belief of the Wa Kingdom’s civilians.

They had no idea how fitting the word ‘Beginning’ that they casually chose was for Jia Yan.

That was because a significant part of the chaos in Wa Kingdom was caused by the giant mosquito monster that set off Mount Fuji!

From this perspective, one could say that the whole world’s war was all thanks to this giant mosquito monster!

Of course, Jia Yan himself still didn’t know about the drastic changes that were happening around the world.

Of course, even if he did know, he wouldn’t think that his mistake was that grave.

He simply damaged a metal pipe and finished off a metal monster that pursued him.

He couldn’t see any significant wrongdoing in that, let alone predict that it would lead to a worldwide catastrophe.

Who’d have thought that these metal monsters were so vengeful, launching attacks on such a large scale just because one of them was killed?!

Of course, beneath all the obvious evidence, there could be other reasons underlying these events, but those were all speculations.

The real reason, who could tell?

The giant mosquito was still flying!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Having switched to glide flying, Jia Yan discovered that even this passive way of flying allowed him to increase his speed!

It seemed that after the mutation, his body’s shape was more aerodynamic, and his wings had grown bigger and stronger.

Even a gentle flap when the speed was dropping a bit could make it accelerate again.

“I can’t tell how fast I was flying earlier, but now, I guess my speed is around four hundred kilometers per hour,” Jia Yan guessed his flying speed while flying.

This speed was double his previous cruising speed!

And this was cruising, the most energy-saving way of flying.

Jia Yan could feel that if he was willing to spend more energy, he could increase this speed, even reaching a cruising speed of five hundred and fifty kilometers per hour!

At the moment, because he was using the least energy-consuming way of flying, he felt that if he had to fly around the globe, he could probably do it!

Moreover, because this way of flying wasn’t really tiring and didn’t consume much energy, he could possibly fly around the globe without needing to replenish his energy by eating!

That is to say, the endurance of Jia Yan, the giant mosquito, was sufficient to support him to fly around the globe without rest or food.

This was simply an incredible miracle!

Of course, given that Jia Yan had already become a giant mosquito monster and had become this powerful after the mutation, it was actually normal.

“There it is, the island where I hid my laptop.”

Finally, after flying for a while, Jia Yan arrived at the small island where he had previously hidden his laptop bag.

This island was very remote and was originally inhabited by only a few families.

But when Jia Yan flew over this island, he saw that the number of people on the island seemed to have greatly increased!

These were the people who had fled here to escape the metal monsters on the Japanese island.
