[Request for Top Reader]_1 At this moment, the mosquito monster’s body was entirely an eerily deep blue color!

This color, it so happens, is the most powerful aspect of the Giant Mosquito and the largest treasure concealed within its body!

It was actually forced out by these metal monsters!

The defense of this azure material is absolute!

The protection offered by the azure material is beyond any doubt!

But what Jia Yan found most intolerable occurred.

Areas of its current defense display lacked full protection, revealing gaps that corresponded exactly to its wounds!

This was simply unbearable!

It wasn’t as simple as being injured.

These metal monsters had shattered the absolute defense he had always believed in!

Such insignificant metal monsters had shattered his faith!

The Giant Mosquito, as if treading on fire, slowly flapped its wings among showers of dust and sparks, and took to the air!

The flames in its wake were like his towering fury!

The murderous intent in Jia Yan’s eyes was stronger than ever before!

These metal monsters had pushed him into a terrifying ordeal he had never faced before.

Jia Yan had never been through such a feeling before, although he had experienced numerous dangerous situations.

But this danger made him truly taste the flavor of despair!

It was the sensation of having absolutely nowhere to run on earth or in heaven!

The person himself was entirely surrounded by flames.

The feeling was incredibly desperate!

Although the azure material once again saved him, he had genuinely felt the sensation of death a moment ago!

And the metal monsters that provoked this sensation were unforgivable!

Jia Yan’s killing intent was chillingly intense!

Like a fiery phoenix reborn from the ashes and a giant dragon soaring through the flames, this Big Mosquito now possessed the aura of a divine beast!

Its colossal compound eyes were full of scars, some of which were so fine that they even hindered its vision!

There were rather many wounds on its body.

These wounds, some of which were caused by the azure material, were now confirmed by Jia Yan.

His deep blue defense had a fatal flaw– its defensive speed was not fast enough.

This time, the coagulation and the exoskeleton were breached quickly due to the explosion, and the blue defense could not cover the entire body in time.

It was scratched by the flaming attack and the tiny exploding fragments!

This experience made Jia Yan aware of his defense’s weakness for the first time and that he was susceptible to dying too!

After this mutation, he had indeed become more powerful.

Even the red light beam that he initially couldn’t defend well against, was now something he was considerably less afraid of!

But this didn’t mean the metal monsters in front of him had no way of killing him!

There was the most potent method of self-detonation, for instance!

Or perhaps there was the saturation attack of the red beams!

One of them could possibly cause Jia Yan’s death!

Perhaps Jia Yan’s anger this time was because he felt that the dream of being invincible in defense had been shattered, thus causing his fury!

Of course, such a thought isn’t a very creditable one, but perhaps only the shattering of the belief in the absolute defense that he had always held could somewhat improve his understanding of reality.

After all, a person who cannot face reality will inevitably be one of the first to die in battle!

With this experience, Jia Yan’s future fights will no longer involve dangerous actions based on his good defense — such as his earlier thoughts of wanting to challenge human nuclear weapons on the small islands of the Wa country!

If one doesn’t clearly understand this, then one is not clearly aware of their strength.

This unawareness will surely result in bigger losses in the future.

Hence, it isn’t necessarily a bad thing that the Big Mosquito gained this lesson now!

“But the deep blue defense hasn’t been breached yet; it’s just that it unfolds slower.

If the mutation next time could enable the deep blue defense’s speed to be reinforced, my dream of perfect defense may not be shattered!”

Jia Yan still had beautiful thoughts in his mind.

This was no longer impractical as it was indeed possible!

Although he was injured this time, the absolute nature of the deep blue defense was still exhibited in this explosion!

Areas where Jia Yan was injured were those without the deep blue defense.

Parts of him reinforced with the deep blue defense remained completely unharmed!

And now, his idea shifted from the initial blind faith in the deep blue defense to firmly wanting to coat every part of his body with it!

At least his shielding would probably resist the metal monsters’ self-destructive attacks if it was reinforced over his entire body!

“Now, I must be extra careful!

At least I must not let them self-destruct beside me again!” Jia Yan determined in his heart not to allow his opponents to self-destruct next to him!

But to achieve this, the best method would be to prevent these metal monsters from getting to him.

However, how was he supposed to attack without letting them get close?

“Kill them with lightening speed before they can react!”

The gleam in Jia Yan’s compound eyes flickered even more intensely!

The Big Mosquito on the battlefield at this moment was like a wounded beast!

Whoosh, whoosh!——

A few red beam attacks arrived once again!

At this moment, these metal monsters too were extremely ferocious!

They saw a threat in this Giant Mosquito Monster that seemed impossible to kill!

This threat was not trivial, because this Giant Mosquito Monster was different from any ground-based creatures they had encountered!

This Giant Mosquito not only had extreme defensive ability, but also emitted an ‘aura’ very similar to theirs!

In fact, these Metal Monsters were indeed attracted from the depths of the Earth by Jia Yan, the Big Mosquito.

However, the reason was unknown.

They only knew there was an entity in the overground world which seemed to have the same ‘roots’ as them but wasn’t one of them.

Instead, it was a being that must be killed!

This entity posed a grave danger!

Intrinsically, in the instructions received by these Metal Monsters, there were directions to kill this Giant Mosquito monster!

Of course, their instructions also included an order to kill all life on the surface.

This directive seemed to be non-conflicting and even overlapping with the order to kill the Giant Mosquito monster.

However, the difference was that the task of killing the Giant Mosquito was prioritized significantly!

Therefore, these Metal Monsters abandoned the humans in this area to rush over and kill this Giant Mosquito monster!

Continuous bombardments were happening, but the Big Mosquito had switched tactics now, its speed had increased significantly!

At this point, the Big Mosquito was launching attacks regardless of his stamina.

After all, Jia Yan’s previous plan was to conserve stamina, but now, his life was the most important thing!

If he could escape by abandoning the attack, Jia Yan would have definitely escaped.

But at this point, he was defending his family.

Would he choose to run away?

No!

So, the Big Mosquito was still persistently battling with these Metal Monsters!

Boom boom boom boom!!!

Loud explosions were heard and the buildings in this area had all collapsed!

The Red Light Attack exploded, and the remaining Metal Monsters continued launching their phased attacks, determined to kill the Big Mosquito here!

Jia Yan’s attacks had become more elusive!

He was trying his best to dodge all avoidable attacks.

For Jia Yan, although each individual attack wouldn’t cause severe damage, he was still receiving some harm!

Each injury might not be a significant problem individually, but cumulatively, they were terrifying!

That’s why he was making every effort to dodge!

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!!——

His body became more mysterious and violent!

One Red Light flew past him at close range, and the Big Mosquito’s body shot downward!

The speed of the dive was several times faster than before, so the Red Light Attack didn’t hit him and grazed his body instead!

But at the same time, another Red Light Attack had arrived!

Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes lit up brightly!

His body followed the momentum of the previous move and launched a series of dodges!

His body turned gracefully in the sky and then shot forward quickly toward the right!

The extremely fast Big Mosquito impressively dodged the continuous Red Light Attacks that were almost impossible to dodge with his huge body size!

This seamless evasion was almost miraculous!

Under such tricky evasion, the difficult angle of this Red Light Attack was also narrowly evaded by Jia Yan!

“Very good, my speed can definitely avoid their attacks!

I’ll definitely be able to take them all down!”

Jia Yan was encouraging himself in his heart!

The Giant Mosquito had become even faster!

His flight angle was no longer restricted to left-right dodging, sometimes looking forward, but under the flicker of the Compound Eyes of the Giant Mosquito, the figure would float to the back!

Such a bizarre flight method was not only impossible for a fighter jet to execute but also many actual flying organisms in nature were incapable of implementing!

Moreover, Jia Yan’s body executing these movements was so huge that it almost violated the laws of nature!

But on the battlefield, no one applauded for his beautiful maneuvers.

The opposing Metal Monsters wouldn’t cheer for him even if they had the intelligence to do so.

All they thought about was how to kill this troublesome Flying Monster!

Splat!!——

A sharp foreleg horn fiercely pierced a Metal Monster on the front end!

Just at this time, a violent red light suddenly appeared from the top part of its head!

But before that, the ferocious look in the Compound Eyes of the Giant Mosquito suddenly became extremely noticeable!

He fiercely turned the blade-shaped horn on his foreleg!

Crack!——

The Metal Monster’s highly defensive ‘heart’ was directly shattered by his blade-shaped horn, eviscerating all its internal defenses at once!

With its heart shattered, this Metal Monster, which also wanted to self-detonate, was killed by Jia Yan in an instant, preventing its self-destruction!

“Good, it looks like I can stop it if I’m fast enough!” Jia Yan coldly watched the falling Metal Monster and finally heaved a sigh of relief!

I’ll post another chapter right away: because of learning new input methods, my typing speed has considerably slowed down which resulted in the chapter being published late.

My apologies for this: I’ll try to post earlier in the future!
