[Seeking Subscription]_1 152: Chapter 31 Wa Kingdom like Facing a Great Enemy!

[Seeking Subscription]_1 The sense of touch ‘in the ears’, only heard the howling of the mad wind!

The sound of the wind is sharp.

Jia Yan launched into the air, flying towards the north.

Compared to Huaxia, Wa Kingdom is relatively to the north, and Mount Fuji, where Jia Yan is heading, is of extremely high altitude.

For the cold-phobic mosquitoes, this is also a small challenge.

The body of the Giant Mosquito is flying in the air.

“Land is up ahead, the journey so far has been good, with no radar detection, as long as I reach the land, there are fewer radars scanning for fishing vessels, it should be even more difficult to be detected!”

With a flutter, Jia Yan finally entered the territory of the Island of Wa!

Since Jia Yan was taking a straight path, after flying off the small island where he was before, he flew almost a hundred kilometers along the coast of Wa Kingdom!

His speed was still very fast.

Whoosh!!

Leaves of some trees were rustled by Jia Yan’s flying.

Jia Yan entered the land.

When he arrived in places where trees and houses might appear, Jia Yan couldn’t fly that low anymore, so he slightly increased his flight altitude, flying about ten meters high, and dashing towards the front!

“Now that I’m on land, the previous method of discrimination might make mistakes, I need to recognize the road and the address.”

After having the previous experience of crossing the whole Huaxia, now faced with a similar situation, Jia Yan was an expert at it!

Around four o’clock in the morning, the whole earth was a peaceful scene.

The weather in Wa Kingdom is quite cold.

Although Jia Yan didn’t fly high, he still felt the low temperature of about ten degrees.

This temperature didn’t pose much harm to him now, it was just a bit uncomfortable.

The road ahead is long, always in flight!

Jia Yan discovered that while Wa Kingdom appears to be a country with a large population but scarce land on the surface, in reality, aside from the capital Tokyo, the population is not that large in other places.

It is said that eighty percent of Wa Kingdom’s population is gathered in the small Tokyo Circle, which consists of a few counties centered around Tokyo!

In other cities and counties, especially places like Hokkaido, there are really no cars on the road for half an hour.

So Jia Yan changed a bit of his thinking on the way, that is, to try to bypass the towns where humans gather as far as possible!

Although this causes a decrease in speed and an increase in the journey, after analyzing it, Jia Yan found that his cruising speed has reached over 250 kilometers per hour, which is faster than before.

As long as he hurries a bit, he can still make it to Mount Fuji around six in the morning!

Then, the third relatively short long-distance flight of the Giant Mosquito began again!

However, no matter how careful, such a big thing, flying in such a low airspace, it’s basically very difficult not to be discovered by humans!

“Huh, what is that?” A Wa Kingdom citizen, still awake at dawn, saw the Big Mosquito flying over ten meters in the air!

Whoosh!!!

Jia Yan’s speed was incredibly fast.

By the time the person looked up carefully, he had already turned a corner and disappeared from sight!

An hour-speed of two hundred and fifty kilometers, neither too fast nor too slow!

If you’re not careful, when it flies past your eyes, you won’t even know something has flown by.

Whoosh!!

The person before didn’t choose to continue investigating.

In fact, this is the real mentality of ordinary humans.

If it doesn’t concern them, they won’t bother.

The Wa Kingdom people have a deeply ingrained idea of not wanting to invite trouble.

They care even less about things that do not harm them!

Only those who have seen the image of Jia Yan and immediately judged that the creature they see is the mosquito monster from the TV the other day, would urgently want to contact the police!

Unfortunately, after several Wa Kingdom people saw the body of Jia Yan and Jia Yan had flown more than two hundred kilometers along the land, an early-rising farmer who had seen the image of Jia Yan saw the figure of the Big Mosquito above his vegetable field!

“No good!

It’s that terrifying Giant Mosquito Monster!”

The vegetable farmer, upon seeing Jia Yan, was so scared that he fell in the vegetable field and used his hands and feet to crawl into a hiding place!

When he stuck his head out and looked, he saw the Giant Mosquito vanish instantly, leaving only a small black dot.

He immediately took out his cellphone from his pocket!

He dialed the emergency number!

Thus, the news of the ‘Man-killing Giant Mosquito entering the interior of Wa Kingdom’ spread instantly in the police department!

“Naito!

Come to the headquarters quickly!

What?

You just had a little sleep?

I don’t care about that, come here right now!

The Giant Mosquito Monster has appeared!”

“Headquarters?

This is the XX branch, it’s a message about that Giant Mosquito Monster, yes, yes, yes!

The latest report is that he has arrived in Aichi County!”

“Headquarters, we’ve lost his trace, yes, yes!

The application for helicopter use has been approved!”

“What?

The Defense Forces want to join the capture team?

But this…..”

This is the busy information from the Wa Kingdom Police Department.

Because the Giant Mosquito Monster has been advancing into the interior of Wa Kingdom, and even flying in a straight line pattern, it looks like it is heading into the Tokyo Circle, which makes the Wa Kingdom extremely nervous!

If such a Giant Mosquito Monster enters the most bustling Tokyo Circle in Wa Kingdom, it would really be a major crisis.

Upon receiving the news from the Police Department, the excitement among the Defense Forces was even greater!

The coastal battle the day before yesterday was quite alright for the police department, mostly because of the inferior quality of their equipment and the fact that their daily training is not aimed at dealing with serious emergencies.

So the worst that could happen is that they were scolded by the public for being ‘incapable’!

But their Wa Self-Defense Force, to put it bluntly, is the military of Wa Country!

A unit that spends every day training and preparing for emergencies in times of peace, but yet can’t even provide any significant performance in the face of a real battle!

They sent in dozens of men, five armored vehicles, and a range of military equipment far superior to what the police had, but they came back empty-handed.

All of the masked bandits were taken out by this giant mosquito monster, not by them!

There were even outraged citizens calling for the timid Self-Defense Forces to ‘disband’ and even ‘drop dead’!

Of course, their incompetence is not the main reason why the Self-Defense Forces hate the Giant Mosquito so much!

The main reason lies in the fact that during the battle, the Giant Mosquito directly attacked an armored vehicle belonging to the Self-Defense Forces!

It even killed a crew member inside the vehicle with its sharp, pointed forelegs!

This is the fundamental reason why the Self-Defense Forces view the Giant Mosquito Monster with such hostility!

“We must ask for the higher-ups’ approval to let our troops move out!

Preferably, getting the ‘Land Self-Defense Force Special Operations Group’ into action!”

A high-ranking member of the army from the Self-Defense Forces urgently dispatched the order to his subordinates.

The so-called ‘Land Self-Defense Force Special Operations Group’ is referred to as the Special Operations Group!

You might be able to guess what kind of force this is just by hearing its acronym!

That’s correct, this unit is the only special force within the Self-Defense Force of Wa Country.

This force is very mysterious and is the strongest among the tens of thousands of troops in the Self-Defense Force, without a doubt.

The higher-ups within the Self-defense Forces were not mobilizing this extraordinarily formidable force just out of a spirit of revenge!

It was because of the uniqueness of the Giant Mosquito that they had to use this ‘monster’ of a force to deal with him, right?

“At such a crucial time, Major Hongo has not returned, did he die in that mysterious factory in Huaxia or was he detained by Huaxia?

If he was here, there would be no disputes about the leadership of the Special Operations Group!

This is the unit that he trained personally!”

The high-ranking member of the Wa Self-Defense Forces who had made the call, hung up with a disappointed sigh.

He was doubting why Major Hongo, who had gone to Huaxia on what was supposed to be a touristic mission, had disappeared without a trace after reaching Huaxia.

His sudden disappearance truly shocked the whole leadership of Wa Country!

Major Hongo had lived for a long time, and thus, had been an essential part of the military leadership in Wa Country for many years, knowing many secrets.

In many ways, Wa Country could not operate without him.

However, such a powerful figure had just disappeared on the soil of Huaxia!

Wa Country even tried to put pressure on Huaxia through the embassy, but they received no response at all.

What people in Wa Country didn’t know was that their treasured National Treasure Level Monster had been killed by this Giant Mosquito Monster they were currently anxious about, in the underworld beneath the Wa factory in Huaxia Country!

If they knew this, they would hate the Giant Mosquito so much that they might want to devour it with the combined might of their entire country!

As Jia Yan smoothly made his way into the heartland of Wa Country, the situation slowly fermented and evolved!

As for the great impact that Jia Yan, this Giant Mosquito, would have on Wa Country, only time will tell!

In the meantime, Jia Yan continued his flight!

He knew that he couldn’t prevent himself from being sighted by humans along his route.

So, he used a clever trick, that misled the Wa state police and the Self-Defense Forces.

He pretended like he was trying to invade the Tokyo Circle and even the capital, Tokyo itself.

If a monster were to wreak havoc in the capital of a country, regardless of the eventual damage and whether this Giant Mosquito can be taken down ultimately, it would significantly damage Wa’s reputation on an international level.

Therefore, most of the police force in Tokyo Circle was mobilized, to prevent Jia Yan, this elusive but powerful Giant Mosquito, from infringing on the country’s core region.

Even the Self-Defense Forces were focused on the Tokyo Circle.

As a result, many people completely forgot about the area around Mount Fuji.

Then, after making a sudden change in direction,

Jia Yan suddenly disappeared!

Well, saying he disappeared, we mean that there were no longer any sightings reported to the police and the Self-Defense Forces.

Did the Giant Mosquito Monster sense a danger and hide?

The higher-ups of Wa Country looked at each other in confusion.

Did Jia Yan really go into hiding?

No!

He was still in flight!

It’s just that he had entered the territory of Shizuoka Prefecture, not far from Mount Fuji!

So, he simply reduced his flying altitude to just one or two meters, so much so that he was practically skimming the ground.

He also slowed down his speed and was extremely cautious during his flight, carefully avoiding every building and every human he came across on the streets.

Don’t think that a Giant Mosquito can’t do something like this!

As a mosquito that can sense infrared heat and ‘smell’ the carbon dioxide in human breaths, avoiding humans before they have a chance to see him is very easy!

So, suddenly, Jia Yan’s whereabouts disappeared from the radar of the police and the Self-Defense Forces.

“Hurry and search!

The monster must still be somewhere where it disappeared, perhaps resting or maybe killing someone!

Hurry, contact the police in that area, and head there right away!”

The Metropolitan Police Department urgently contacted the local police forces, and a dozen police cars rushed to the last known location of the Giant Mosquito.

But these men were bound to return empty-handed.

The Giant Mosquito Monster that they were so eager to apprehend was quietly flying not far from Mount Fuji…
