This is not a particularly large space!

In the space, numerous delicate instruments are functioning.

On these instruments, there are various displays and some crystal-clear bubbles are continuously gushing in some glass tubes.

Centered amidst these instruments, is a towering machine!

At first glance, the machine appears as one seamless chunk of metal without any visible seams or screws, possessing a futuristic allure that many technologies in the Earth World are yet to achieve.

Strangely enough, this machine is almost identical to the one in the Huaxia Nation Factory in the Underground World!

A few men and women dressed in protective clothing are bustling about this machine.

They look at this machine which has countless tubes extending underground, their endpoints uncertain.

One of the tubes is cut open, and another tube is attached to its inside.

This tube directly connects to the instruments the researchers are operating and various data are fluctuating wildly!

It is unclear what these researchers are studying but they seem extremely busy!

Meanwhile, about seven or eight kilometers away on the peak of Mount Fuji.

Jia Yan crawls into a 3000-meter-high cave!

The temperature of the cave is relatively high.

As Jia Yan ventured deeper, he no longer felt intense cold.

His surface temperature gradually began to rise, and his agility gradually returned to its normal level.

Humans might have explored this place before, but Jia Yan still continued crawling forward.

The cave is made mostly of volcanic rock.

Black stones bearing clear signs of high-temperature burns are everywhere.

Jia Yan examines these rocks while crawling forward, the Compound Eyes flickering with an eerie glow!

The entrance of this cave is narrow but after crawling some distance inside, the space became a bit wider.

At least now Jia Yan could move without feeling encumbered – he could crawl comfortably!

“The temperature is getting increasingly high, and the terrain suggests that this space keeps descending.

This cave might lead to the underground.”

In the cave that was leading him continuously downhill, the glint in Jia Yan’s compound eyes was even brighter as he continued moving his six legs!

In this cave, initial signs of human presence became fewer as he went further in, but the temperature kept rising.

Jia Yan noticed that other caves started to connect to the four walls of this cave.

Clearly, it was no longer a single cave, but a collection of several caves converging into one.

Naturally, the typical end for most volcanic caves would be a dead-end after leading downhill for some distance.

After all, these caves were formed due to volcanic eruptions, their creation caused by the jetting of volcanic rocks, generating asymmetric crevices.

These volcanic caves were not like the caverns formed by continual water dripping from the outside world that could be quite lengthy; most volcanic caves would turn into a dead-ends after a short distance.

However, the cave Jia Yan was descending seemed to be different!

This cave kept leading forward, and the temperature rose progressively.

When Jia Yan noticed, the surrounding temperature felt not the least bit cold, but incredibly high!

When he entered the cave, he only intended to do a little investigation, as something potentially promising to do when there was no other plan.

But he really hadn’t expected that he would continue to descend and reach such a depth!

Deep underground, it was intensely hot.

Until Jia Yan reached a relatively spacious place, there was no path ahead!

On the ground was some substance that looked like it had melted and then coagulated.

This substance was definitely extraordinary!

It was the material hardened from magma!

“There was actually magma here previously!” Jia Yan found that through the infrared function of his Compound Eyes, the current temperature of these substances was quite high, probably over seventy or eighty degrees!

It’s speculated that if he were to go further downward, volcanic magma would likely be just a short distance away.

Jia Yan found it terrifying instantly: volcanoes were not a joking matter.

If a volcanic eruption occurred now, there would be no place to run!

“There is no path ahead, should I just turn back like this?”

Jia Yan estimated that he had descended about four thousand meters, which means he was no longer above sea level but below it!

Without talking about sea level, based on the path he had travelled so far, his current depth even surpassed that of the Huaxia Nation Factory in the Underground World!

The Underground Factory was only a few meters deep, but he had descended a horrifying four thousand meters, four kilometers!

This is an extremely terrifying place.

The surrounding air temperature was extremely high, probably around forty degrees.

It’s estimated that even if humans had explored this far before, it would have been very difficult for them to reach this place, because the temperature is too high.

They must wear a certain type of protective clothing or they would not be able to make it this far

Besides, Jia Yan can feel through his mutated ‘respiratory organ’ that the air here was not ordinary; although it still contained oxygen, it was definitely mixed with unknown types of toxic substances.

While he didn’t feel much discomfort, it was hard to tell how humans would respond!

So, either humans had never explored this place, or if they did they probably would not come here often!

The entire flat Lava Land was approximately three hundred square meters.

There was a confusing mixture of rocks scattered on the ground, evidently fallen from the top of the cave!

Jia Yan considered for a while, then decided to tentatively step onto the molten rock not far away with one of his forelegs.

The high temperature of sixty or seventy degrees was incredibly hot!

With his long leg wrapped in Coagulate stepping onto the high-temperature ground, the sensations he received made Jia Yan slightly delighted!

Compared to insulating against cold, the Coagulate seemed even more effectively insulated against high temperatures!

Or, putting it another way, as opposed to fearing low temperatures, Jia Yan’s body might have a surprising tolerance for high temperatures!

Jia Yan stepped on the ground, finding the temperature did not cause him any discomfort.

A pair of compound eyes lit up.

Then, Jia Yan kept moving forward, his feet touching the ground.

He was inspecting this flat lava ground!

There were many huge stones on the ground, some places were blind spots that Jia Yan needed to carefully observe.

Although the tiny places certainly couldn’t hide the gigantic machinery underneath the Huaxia Nation Factory, who knew if this ‘Divine Object’ of Wa Kingdom was also that big?

If it was just a small thing, then it had to be scrutinized very carefully!

Jia Yan didn’t hold much hope for this place, but since he had climbed down, he definitely had to try a bit, right?

There were many narrow places.

Jia Yan started to search for clues on the ground using the stones made from lava.

However, there was no harvest.

This place of over three hundred square meters wasn’t big nor small.

Jia Yan spent twenty minutes inspecting every corner carefully.

Some places that he couldn’t reach, he unfolded his wings and flew over to examine.

So much time had passed, and there was no gain whatsoever.

Jia Yan couldn’t help feeling a bit disheartened!

“There’s one last section left, which is also the most blind spot.

Unless they can fly, humans would have no way to get there!”

Jia Yan looked at a corner that was blocked by several huge pieces of lava, from below of which a pungent scent of sulfur was rising!

Truthfully, Jia Yan felt that that place looked as if it could lead directly to the magma, which seemed quite terrifying.

But this was the only place left, he couldn’t just give up the inspection out of fear, right?

If there was magma, it wouldn’t be erupting all of a sudden.

If it just happened to erupt within the short period of time when Jia Yan had gone down, Jia Yan would have to be super lucky, he could buy a lottery ticket and surely win the jackpot!

Jia Yan looked at that location, estimated an entry method, then spread his wings!

In comparison to his wingspan, that place wasn’t easy to get into.

Hum, hum, hum!

Jia Yan flapped his wings.

The sound was very clear at the bottom of the cave!

Jia Yan flew up.

Both wings flapping, he cautiously avoided the lava.

After flying past one, two pieces of huge lava, the little corner at the bottom of the cavern finally fully appeared in front of Jia Yan!

“What is this?”

The strange glow in Jia Yan’s compound eyes became even brighter!

Everything in front of him was within Jia Yan’s expectations, but it was also not!

It was a small pool that was only about fifty centimeters wide.

In the pool, there was no water at all.

Instead, it was a glowing, molten liquid!

Magma!

This liquid was constantly churning, quickly turning into a black substance when it met air.

Yet, this substance would immediately turn back into red-hot magma after sinking into the magma.

It was a magma pool!

The entire magma pool had extremely high temperatures.

Flying in the air, Jia Yan could feel the heat filling the sky, making his entire body and wings hot.

The air here was probably around forty to fifty degrees.

If it went down any more, it would reach seventy to eighty degrees or even higher!

The temperature inside the magma was even more unthinkable.

This dark red magma must have at least a temperature of 600 degrees!

The churning parts might even reach over a thousand degrees, and they were extremely frightening!

Jia Yan dared not let himself descend too much.

Although the temperature in the air couldn’t harm him, if he accidentally fell into the magma pool, even if he was highly self-confident and resistant to heat, he wouldn’t believe that he could come out alive!

“The appearance of magma falls within my expectations and yet beyond them as well!

But the appearance of another thing surprised me.

However, the presence of this thing here probably isn’t too strange.

Just that I never thought I would see it here.”

“Maybe it should also be said, that it was both expected and unexpected!”

With this thought, Jia Yan shifted his gaze to a thing near the magma.

Who would have thought he would see such a thing here!

This could prove some things…

The glow in Jia Yan’s compound eyes flickered.
