164: Chapter 41: The Volcano Eruption I Caused!

[End of This Volume]_2 164: Chapter 41: The Volcano Eruption I Caused!

[End of This Volume]_2 Just as Jia Yan flew away from the scene, the metal monsters that had arrived outside the volcano seemed to go on a bloody rampage!

One by one, they trudged with a mechanical gait; though occasionally the magma erupting from the volcano would coat their feet, they would merely hop and leap away from the range of the magma.

The parts of their feet that had been flooded by magma showed no signs of burning!

Some were stripped right down to the base of the mountain by flowing magma!

Then they would use the molten rock, while it was still not solidified, to spring back up and continue causing havoc in the Surface World!

They opened fire on any human beings that they could lay their eyes on!

The world has gone insane!

This world really has gone insane!

As the volcano in the Wa Kingdom erupted, and because of those metal monsters pouring out of the molten rock as though they were a mad metallic tide heading towards the human world, all the media in the world began bombarding Mount Fuji with questions!

Of course, it was still the early stages of Mount Fuji’s eruption, so many media outlets hadn’t had the chance to arrive at the scene yet to report on what was happening!

But the Wa State Police and Guards had already been informed of what was happening in no time at all!

“What?

Mount Fuji is erupting?

And there are countless monsters emerging with the eruption?

You’re joking, right?”

“The ‘Rapid Rescue Team’ is prepared and ready to depart at any moment!”

“All the Guards are ready to go to the frontlines at any time.

Whatever monsters or anything else there are, we have the determination and confidence to kill them all!”

The response from several teams from the Wa Kingdom was not bad, reflecting the effectiveness of their usual training!

However, it wasn’t the rescue team from the Wa Kingdom that was the first to arrive at the disaster area!

Rather, it was the police with their poor kitted out vehicles!

The response from the Wa Kingdom police was indeed quick, but again it shouldn’t have been this quick.

The only reason they had been able to get to the disaster area so quickly wasn’t due to their training, but was because that day they were already assembled together having been put on high alert due to the Big Mosquito!

There was also a group of people who were searching around the place where the Big Mosquito vanished, which was not far from Mount Fuji!

It was because of this that this group of people were mobilised!

Within an hour, they had raced to the scene, earning the praise and attention of the country’s high-level officials and foreign media!

The people of the Wa Kingdom discussed these patriotic and friendly countrymen and police.

They were almost crying out loud — we were wrong to always criticize you in the past!

Of course, these people were oblivious to the real reason.

If they knew that these police had just been sent to capture the Big Mosquito, and had just happened upon the emergency situation, wouldn’t they be extremely disappointed?

No one knew this, so let these policemen continue to be ‘martyr heroes’!

Why do I call them martyrs?

The reasoning is too simple!

If even Jia Yan had to run desperately just to escape the metal monsters, would they be able to stop them?

No way!

Therefore, this group of policemen who arrived first at the scene were destined to become the peoples’ brave heroes and martyrs!

The people were hurriedly being evacuated!

Had this been merely a normal volcanic eruption, then, perhaps relying on their advanced disaster relief experience, coupled with the resilience of the people, this eruption of Mount Fuji might not have caused such widespread disaster.

However, this volcanic eruption was not at all a simple matter.

Don’t forget, what was ‘jetting’ out along with the magma, were those metal monsters!

When these monsters were first captured on camera and distributed through television and even online, the world was in an uproar once again!

There was even footage captured by an ordinary civilian getting circulated online.

The footage roughly depicts a civilian frantically driving with his family in the opposite direction of the volcano!

What the videographer initially intended to capture was the catastrophic scene of the volcano erupting, with the added sounds of his family crying and his own suppressed sobs.

After finally buying a house near the famous landmark, Mount Fuji, it was about to be destroyed by a volcanic eruption before they even had a chance to live in it for long.

Anyone would feel like crying in such a situation!

But halfway through this rather ordinary video, a red beam of light suddenly appears in the camera lens!

This beam hits the electrical pole near the vehicle!

Boom, boom!!

The electrical pole, thick enough for a person to wrap their arms around, is struck by the red beam and starts to hum before it topples over!

“Oh my God!” screams were heard from the videographer’s family in the camera.

Then, the person filming, his hands holding the camera, began to tremble.

As the camera pans, you see a four-legged metal machine, about the size of a large dog, suddenly appear on the road behind the lens.

It is chasing their car at high speed and rapidly closing in!

At the same time, a red beam of light emanates from a metal tube at the top of the metal monster’s head!

Boom, boom!!

A giant chasm forms near the vehicle on the road!

It looked like a huge crater caused by a meteorite!

The video footage then shakes abruptly before coming to a halt!

The video was uploaded by an unknown user and then started to spread like wildfire!

While there have been many sightings and articles about large monsters in the world, this video, shot from a first-person perspective and presenting the entire scene to viewers, was still the first of its kind!

What happened to the videographer?

Is his family safe?

Many people left comments online, but the messages showing concern for the videographer’s safety were the minority!

More people were terrified!

“Are there really monsters planning to attack us humans?”

“What on earth is going on recently in the World of Earth?

Monsters keep appearing wave after wave.

What big event is about to take place?”

“Shouldn’t the Wa Kingdom’s military be able to handle these monsters?

If not, maybe our Huaxia’s military should step in and help them kill these monsters?

Of course, whether we stick around after killing them depends on their sincerity, haha!”

“The person above is an idiot!

If they need help they would ask the Stars and Stripes Country, not us Huaxia!

Besides, don’t we also have those three gigantic monsters in our Huaxia?

If they also start attacking humans, it will be our turn to be in danger!”

“The person above is the real idiot!!!

It would be great if all people in the Wa Kingdom die, Huaxia doesn’t need outsiders’ help, we will kill however many appear!

Kill, kill, kill!!!”

The internet in Huaxia was boiling.

Among this, some people mentioned the Big Mosquito that straddles Huaxia and the Wa Kingdom, but amidst all these metal monsters at Mount Fuji, the Big Mosquito Monster’s glory had been overshadowed.

Some people did mention it, but after not receiving any response, they gave up.

However, these netizens, although they are concerned about potential crises in the world, still discuss these events casually as tea-time talk.

They don’t believe that such things like the monsters, the Big Mosquito, and disasters will happen close to them!

However, things are changing!

Step by step, the stage is being set for the unfolding of massive events on the horizon!

End of volume.

In the next volume, the Big Mosquito will continue to grow, and the plot will escalate to high tension!
