【Subscribe Please】_1 The top city in the distant Wa State, and also the city with the highest population in the world —— Tokyo!

Tokyo has a population of 35.3 million, a whopping 10 million more than the world’s second most populous city, Mexico City, with its 19.24 million people.

With its sizable population, Tokyo truly boasts the title of the world’s largest city in all aspects, barring its small land area.

This city, bustling with life and activity, carries the hopes and dreams of countless people.

At the same time, it is also a place where many dreams meet a tragic end!

It can be described as a sprawling metropolis brimming with decadence and sin!

And within this city, those tasked with upholding law and justice are the various Tokyo Police departments and stations spread out across the city, their presence felt in all corners, maintaining the everyday order and life of its residents!

But today, something about the police seems distinctly off!

The city’s various underworld organizations have received word to tone down their activities, as the police have been particularly sensitive these past few days.

Any act strong enough to jolt the police’s nerves would absolutely not end well for them!

Not only are these crime organizations that have close ties with the police feeling the heat, but the ordinary citizens walking on the streets can also sense the tense expressions on the patrolling policemen’s faces.

Unless one has inside information, it is hard to believe that all of this is happening because of a single mosquito mysteriously advancing toward the metropolis!

Even within the police, many feel this reaction is overblown.

This is such a large metropolitan circle, with so many police officers and defense forces.

Could they possibly be afraid of a mosquito!?

Even though that mosquito is suspiciously large, there’s really no need for all this fuss, isn’t it!?

The lower ranking policemen just cannot understand the apprehensions of their superiors!

The horror of that mosquito does not lie in its destructive force, but in the embarrassment it will bring to the Wa State!

Already embarrassed once, when numerous police and defense forces were overshadowed by a single Giant Mosquito during their operation to subdue bandits!

Not only that, but it also killed a defense force member and injured a police officer.

These are casualties directly caused by the Giant Mosquito.

If, despite having already suffered such embarrassment, the Giant Mosquito manages to breach this metropolis, the hub of the Wa State—Tokyo Circle, the blow to their national pride would be even greater!

It would be a huge downfall for the entire upper echelon of the Wa State.

Regardless of the extent of destruction caused by the Giant Mosquito, even a brief appearance would greatly tarnish their image both internationally and domestically!

If they can’t even handle a single Giant Mosquito, how could these people manage an entire country!

Hence, Tokyo Circle is currently in a state of high alert.

However, these people are completely barking up the wrong tree.

The dreadful Giant Mosquito they are worried about isn’t even heading their way, but rather wandering around their sacred mountain—Mount Fuji!

“Even the Special Forces are being deployed?

This mosquito monster sure has a big reputation.

Even our country’s most powerful special force, personally trained by General Haneda, has to step in!”

Several high-ranking police officers are patrol the Tokyo Circle, inspecting the situation from their cars.

Even though it is still early dawn, the streets of Tokyo are already filled with pedestrians.

There are a surprisingly large number of policemen among these people.

Regular commuters are giving these new faces strange looks, each one pondering what adverse event might have taken place!

“With the Special Forces deployed, that Giant Mosquito is as good as dead.

Besides having the highest individual abilities in our country, they are also the best equipped.

As long as the mosquito appears, just one Special Force alone can splat it dead!”

Amongst the higher-ups in the car, there is unanimous confidence in the ‘Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Special Operations Group’.

What these high-ranking Wa State officials can’t foresee is that the Giant Mosquito monster isn’t advancing towards the heart of Tokyo Circle.

Instead, it is lingering on Mount Fuji, a location that everyone seems to have overlooked!

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!!

A dark shadow swiftly soars upwards!

Two thousand seven hundred meters!

The Giant Mosquito finally reaches the height of 2,700 meters on Mount Fuji!

The world is vast!

The view from here is entirely different from a measly 1,000-meter altitude!

Mount Fuji climbers generally reach this height at their maximum.

Beyond this, only professionals venture.

Jia Yan only feels the cold permeating his body, the chilly wind constantly sweeping through him.

Even though his body is fully surrounded by Coagulate, he can still feel the icy wind quite clearly.

“Damn it, my wings aren’t as flexible as before!”

As his altitude continues to rise, the drop in temperature becomes more brutal.

Jia Yan can hardly think – it’s too cold!

He is still 1,000 meters away from the peak of Mount Fuji.

“There are some caverns in this area, I’ll go check them out.

If I could avoid forcing my way to the top, that’d be best!”

Through his infrared vision, Jia Yan can see a termal cave quite near to him, typical of volcanic mountains.

He quickly flies over!

In actuality, Jia Yan did not hold out much hope for these caverns.

These locations have been thoroughly trampled by visitors.

Not to mention discovering any secrets, even finding a sight not seen by others would be a tough task.

But he still flew over!

Soon, Jia Yan saw a small mountain cave with an entrance of about twenty centimeters.

These caves are tiny, but hot air is rising from them.

“I didn’t expect the first one I’d see would be such a small opening, but it’s not bad.

I can stand here to restore some body warmth, then I can ascend higher!”

With this thought, there was a glint in Jia Yan’s compound eyes!

What is currently hindering his ascent is the surrounding low temperature, but now with these small caves emitting warm air, he can fly from one to another, stopping at these cave mouths to recover some body warmth, then continuing to ascend!

This was a good tactic.

He could also investigate these caves along the way!

The entrance of the cave where Jia Yan was positioned was too small for him to enter, so he could only see through, witnessing the irregular colors of the volcanic rocks inside.

After standing at this spot for about four or five minutes, his body temperature slightly recovered from the warm air, and reluctantly, he spread his wings!

Then continue to fly upwards.

The next cave was rather far.

Jia Yan noticed that the nearest cave was about two thousand nine hundred meters above sea level, almost three thousand meters away!

“It’s okay, I can get there!” Jia Yan’s compound eyes twinkled.

While his body still retained some warmth acquired from the cave, Jia Yan regained some flexibility.

However, this temperature quickly dissipated.

With his increasing altitude, the surrounding temperature continued to drop.

After just a few hundred meters, the temperature had already dropped to about minus twelve or thirteen degrees!

Cold!

It was extremely freezing!

Jia Yan felt as if he would merge into the icy surroundings, turning into a lump of ice cold frost.

His wings were frozen stiff from flight.

As such, his flight speed dropped significantly, down to only a few tens of kilometers per hour.

Fortunately, the cave hundreds of meters away seemed nearer and nearer!

Finally, just when Jia Yan felt he couldn’t hold on any longer, the cave detected by his infrared exploration capability, came into view!

It was a mountain cave with a diameter of around seventy centimeters.

Just like before, heat was emanating from inside; in fact, this heat was much more intense, and the ice and snow around it were melted into a large area.

Jia Yan stood here, and immediately the warmth washed over him!

He enjoyed it for a while, and then after he recovered, he looked at the cave entrance, a glimmer of light flashing in his compound eyes…

With an entrance width of seventy centimeters, the inside of the cave was even larger.

Entering might be possible.

With this thought, Jia Yan gave up his search and decided to go into this cave first!

Big Mosquito retracted his wings, brought his long legs as close together as possible, and laboriously squeezed into this narrow cavern!

A cavern of only seventy centimeters width was indeed a challenge to Jia Yan’s long legs!

He struggled into it!

Just then, not far from Mount Fuji, a place that looked like a ‘residential house’!

This is a cluster of houses in the style of village residences, where vehicles can regularly be seen coming in and out.

However, as this place is quite remote from the outside world, even the nearby residents do not know that in these seemingly ordinary, ancient Wa Kingdom ‘Long Houses’, there is another world!

At present, within the Long House structures, there are people in white robes and protective suits walking around.

These people are all focused, with various instruments beside them, blinking on and off.

Among these people, some wear protective suits of different colors.

They walk by the Long House’s seemingly ordinary windows, which are actually bulletproof and impervious to fungi, and then enter a heavily guarded room!

Once they enter this room, they can actually see a passageway leading underground!

People wearing different colored protective suits are coming in and out of this passageway.

There are also some burly men dressed in uniforms, with guns vaguely strapped at their waists, wandering around the Long House structures, looking very vigilant.

Their expressions and demeanor indicate that they are all experts, extremely sharp!

However, these robust men have no idea what lies within these houses.

They only know that it is a mysterious place, and that they are paid well for their services.

As experienced professionals in security, a good salary is enough to motivate them to do anything!

Not only them, but even those workers on the ‘Long House’ surface do not know what they are researching!

They are only responsible for the tasks handed up to them after professional decomposition at the lower level, such as the separation and analysis of some materials.

As a result, some of these people who have been working here for nearly five years, still have no idea what their ‘seniors’ are researching!

Within this mysterious building, the highest-level existence are those who can enter the house and then go underground!

These people are not numerous, totaling just over twenty, and most of them are assistants and basic helpers.

The real core group consists of only five people!

If these five were placed outside, they would definitely be able to send tremors through the entire research industry and institutions of the Wa Kingdom!

But now these five were huddled together, studying something underground.

If one were to take the elevator down from the mysterious cottage, after about two to three hundred meters, the elevator doors would open, revealing an empty space before everyone’s eyes…

I’ve caught a cold and my fingers hurt.

I can’t type.

Please bear with me as I slack off slightly.

I promise to update more in a few days!

I’m thick-skinned enough to ask for subscriptions.

If the subscription number goes up, maybe I’ll suddenly find my motivation.

Currently, my subscription results too are too pitiful!
