Just moments ago, it was still fighting in the frontline of the battlefield!

But, when it had just eliminated a Metal Monster, its high-flying body heard a young male voice!

The voice of this big boy was incredibly heartbreaking, as if facing the most tragic thing in the world!

Then, Jia Yan made a decision — to help this boy!

So now, it was him who was barging into the Metal Monster in front of him!

The current state of the Giant Mosquito, its injuries were no longer as horrifying!

Its body, the condensation fluid was rapidly squirming.

This squirming wasn’t a typical slow crawl, but extremely fast.

It seemed like they were scared that their master would die, desperately trying to recover, and rapidly repairing the damaged parts on its body at the affected areas!

At this very moment, those azure substances appeared as if a successful Great General, after lifting Jia Yan out of great danger, they quickly retreated.

Boom Boom Boom!!!

——

Jia Yan slammed the Metal Monster into the half-completed building!

Metal Monsters, they were an extremely robust kind of Monster.

The Metal Monster in front of him was no exception.

The bright red shimmering from the barrel on its head was sparkling rapidly.

But at this time, the keratin in the shape of a blade from Jia Yan was already stabbed into its ‘Heart’!

Splat!!

——

The struggles of the Metal Monster halted instantly!

Its body stopped moving, obviously it had died.

“Very good, this instant kill can be considered a perfect accomplishment!”

Splish Splash…

The Giant Mosquito rose from among the collapsed building bricks.

It viewed the scene outside through its Compound Eyes.

A middle-aged man and the young shape quickly disappearing down an alley.

The teenager was helping his father on his side.

The silhouettes of the two were rather staggering, but they were still walking firmly towards the outside world.

“Very good, just run away like this!”

Jia Yan did not know the exact situation, but he could roughly guess what had happened.

This young boy’s volume was really loud.

Even when he was still in mid-fight, he could hear the boy screaming.

Jia Yan didn’t know why, but he rushed over to help in an instant!

In reality, maybe it was the hoarse voice of this child that touched a soft spot in him?

Perhaps it was because the frantic voice of that boy had a deep emotional connection, that it attracted Jia Yan, this Giant Mosquito, to come over and help!

At that time, hearing the voice of this boy, the Giant Mosquito originally not wanting to save anyone, made a decision to lend this kid a hand!

Anyhow, these Metal Monsters here were all supposed to be taken care of by him, right?

Jia Yan provided a reasonable explanation for his actions in his heart.

But for the Giant Mosquito, this was just a small matter.

At this time, the Giant Mosquito didn’t take this matter to the heart anymore.

His attention was still on the ten plus remaining Metal Monsters that he was about to fight with!

This matter, was just something Jia Yan did in passing.

For him now, saving a human life could truly be decided on a whim.

Fate TBD for all humans, save who he wanted to save, kill who he wanted to kill.

This was entirely up to Jia Yan’s own free will.

“Alright, with the incident of this big boy resolved, next up…”

Jia Yan’s gaze, lingered on the dozen other Metal Monsters outside the building!

“Only you guys left!

I’ve already eliminated half of you, do the rest still believe you can kill me!”

Giant Mosquito’s body shot upwards, facing these Metal Monsters, welcoming the fight!

Boom Boom Boom!!!

——

The intense battle resumed!

Flames were exploding!

Not far from the explosion, two silhouettes were slowly walking.

It was a boy and a middle-aged man who looked a bit out of breath, -.

“Dad, didn’t I tell you!

That Giant Mosquito isn’t a harmful monster.

You’ve seen it, it saved you!” Wu Rongbin helped up his father, but the big boy didn’t seem too excited at this time.

Of course, it was a happy thing that his father was saved, but he also learned the news of his mother’s death, so he didn’t know whether to cry or smile at the news!

“Hehe, it really is just like you said, this Giant Mosquito is a lifesaver, I misunderstood it.” Wu Rongbin’s father felt quite emotional at this time, but he wasn’t like his son, he was weak, but overjoyed.

He had promised his deceased wife to take good care of the child’s growth, so now he can continue to do so, it’s a wonderful thing!

The father and son continued walking towards the outside world.

What they didn’t know was, behind them in the direction they assumed was dangerous, the number of Metal Monsters was rapidly dwindling!

That was thanks to Jia Yan!

Jia Yan, this Giant Mosquito, seemed to have really pissed off the Metal Monsters!

Clang clang clang!!

——

After several loud explosions, a Metal Monster was quickly slapped away by the foreleg of the Giant Mosquito!

This Metal Monster weighed a lot, but it was still swatted away by Jia Yan!

Compared to before, Jia Yan’s power was now much greater.

He continued to fight!

Only a few Metal Monsters remained in front of him.

Under these circumstances, the Giant Mosquito became even more aggressive in its attacks!

Don’t you guys explode?

“Come on then!

If you think you’re faster than my forelegs, let’s try it out!”

Jia Yan’s body swerved continuously in the air, at this time a Metal Monster he was approaching, released a tremendous red light!

This metal monster launched its self-destruction process straight away, not giving Jia Yan any chance to attack!

However, what the metal monster didn’t account for was that Big Mosquito wasn’t heading towards it, but flew right over it going for another metal monster in the back!

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!

–

Left with no other choice, this metal monster had to self-detonate, ending its existence in lonesome solitude.

All that was left was its brilliant final flame!

Jia Yan, with his ominous Compound Eyes, glanced at the rear.

“I knew it.

I knew you guys would resort to this move,” he said.

Gazing thoughtfully through his Compound Eyes, Jia Yan considered these metal monsters.

They might not be exceptionally intelligent, but they’re far from stupid.

After witnessing him slaughter so many of their kind, they wisely chose to self-explode when Jia Yan got near – a predictable occurrence given their circumstance!

What he foresaw was that the rest of these metal monsters would adopt this very attack strategy!

Even if they had to self-destruct, they wanted to take Jia Yan with them!

“Should I feel honored or should I say you guys are terrifying?” Jia Yan said as he scanned the dire metal monsters below.

With their energy seemingly running low, they were sparingly emitting red light with the intent of expending their final energy to perish together with him, the Big Mosquito.

“Your determination is admirable, but sorry.

I have no intention of dying with you.”

Jia Yan’s Compound Eyes were ominously tranquil.

In the air, his body’s speed was constantly accelerating!

Not launching any attack, the acceleration continued!

Whoosh, Whoosh, Whoosh!!

–

Bang!

–

Finally, this Big Mosquito’s speed, shockingly reached a point of breaking through limits in the limited altitude!

Surpassing this absolute limit, his speed changed into something beyond comprehension – incredibly rapid!

Whoosh, Whoosh, Whoosh!!

–

Jia Yan was using an unpredictable tactic!

From their previous skirmishes, he had discerned the reaction speed limit of these metal monsters!

All creatures and machines have their limits, so it’s normal for these metal monsters to have theirs!

While most beings wouldn’t be able to leverage this speed limit due to its extreme quickness, Jia Yan was different.

His greatest advantage was his ability to fly!

More importantly, he was one of those rare creatures that could fly at an amazingly high speed!

Break the sound barrier, let’s see if you can keep up!

Boom, Boom, Boom!!

–

The speed of the Giant Mosquito became even faster!

Next, this Giant Mosquito dived down just like a fighter jet on the attack!

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!

–

The supersonic body moved so rapidly that it made one’s head spin!

No chance to respond!

Attacking at speeds beyond sound in the lower skies against terrestrial creatures is something that not even human fighter pilots dare to imagine, let alone execute!

Know this – using sonic speed for an attack is something only done at high altitudes.

If this were done at low altitudes, not to mention attacking, even supersonic flying is extremely dangerous.

And for one to utilize sonic speed to attack terrestrial objects using their own body –

Any pilot would’ve considered this surreal.

But the Big Mosquito did just that!

Even though it was their first trial, Jia Yan held no apprehensions in his heart!

Why?

Because he is a natural creature of flight!!

Dying from a flight accident would be intolerably embarrassing as a flying creature!

Roar!!

–

The antenna near their ear, all became the roaring sound of gales!

From the Compound Eyes’ point of view, because of the swift speed, everything appeared blurry, almost like spreading lines!

Roar, Roar, Roar!!

–

The Compound Eyes of the Big Mosquito gleamed with excitement!

A sonic attack, just a tiny miscalculation or even a slight scratch on the ground could mean more than just a minor injury!

Nonetheless, this exciting sensation was what they craved!!

Wind sounds brushed past their exoskeleton, tiny particles in the air tingling against their frame – this sensation was too thrilling!

One mistake could mean crashing and burning!

The distance between sonic speed and a metal monster – it would take just an instant to annihilate!

They wouldn’t even be able to muster the thought of self-destructing!

During this high-speed flight, Jia Yan slowly lifted one of his knife-shaped chitin forelegs.

Target in sight!

Big Mosquito’s supersonic lightning strike, commenced!!
