Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5270: Illumina Makes Her Move

Davis stood frozen for a single heartbeat, the soft, insistent press of Illumina’s lips still burning against his own. She did not pull away. Instead she rose higher on her toes, arms looping around his neck, her voluptuous yet toned body pressing squishy against him as she pecked again, and again, each kiss deeper, wetter, more demanding than the last.

This sudden attack left him bewildered, but the scent of her skin, sweet with the lingering fragrance of the island’s murky winds and the faint musk of her own rising heat, flooded his senses.

Illumina’s soft tongue slipped past Davis’s lips, tasting him, coaxing him. A quiet, needy sound vibrated in her throat as her hands slid down from his neck to his chest, fingers curling into the fabric of his robes as though she meant to tear them open. The heat of her body seeped through the layers between them, her soft mounds pressing firmly against him, the rapid flutter of her heart matching the sudden thunder of his own.

Davis’s hands finally moved.

One settled at the small of her back, drawing her closer until there was no space left. The other rose to cradle the back of her head, fingers threading into the silky black-white hair that spilled like moonlight over her shoulders. He answered her kiss at last, claiming her mouth with slow, soft yet firm kisses. Illumina melted against him with a muffled whimper, her body trembling as their tongues met and slid together in a slick, heated dance.

When they finally broke apart for air, a thin strand of saliva still connected their mouths.

Illumina’s cheeks were flushed a delicate rose, her golden pupils half-lidded and gleaming with predatory desire. Her soft bosoms rose and fell rapidly against him. She did not look away. Instead she leaned in once more, lips brushing the corner of his earlobe.

”Master, let us... let us do it...”

Hearing Illumina’s whisper, Davis felt his silent heart was set ablaze with passion.

She was seeking him out on her own, and he found it incredibly alluring, a dent forming over his pants. He had succeeded in sealing these thoughts when he had been unsuccessful, but it was being pried open by Illumina now. Instantly, he considered the plausibility of the situation.

This island was indeed covered with formations, and the fact that it couldn’t be found by outsiders also meant that it was imbued with a karmic veil formation imbued by Mystic Diviner. Although he didn’t know if it would do well to block those karmic gazes, it should certainly scramble them.

His family was most likely safe since there was no karmic tug from his avatar to use the white stone treasure. Although he couldn’t sense the avatar, it didn’t necessarily mean that the white stone had lost connection with the avatar.

Since the two of them were deeply connected with its ghostly yang energy, they were still karmically connected with it, although they couldn’t communicate with it.

Exawelese Skylov sniffed the air, finding out that Illumina had gone into heat. That was quite peculiar, considering magical beasts of their level could control themselves well normally, especially the rabbit kind that represented yin. Their charm was extreme, but their ability to remain conscious of sexual decisions was high, so unless they chose the partner willingly, they wouldn’t go into heat.

Clearly, this rabbit had chosen to go into heat because of this human.

However, she couldn’t understand.

Just what did this little human known as the Divine Emperor of Death possibly invoke in an Emperor-Tier True Exalt Beast? It didn’t make sense for a higher being to fall head over heels for a lower being. What kind of pill did he feed her?

She narrowed her eyes at him, wondering if he had drugged this rabbit when she wasn’t looking.

If she were to look at him true to his title, then a Fiend like him couldn’t possibly make any women go into heat because of his death attribute. It was likely that he would make men go into heat instead by showing them the fear of death and forcing them to look for mates to leave behind their legacy as a last resort.

But he didn’t feel like a death-attributed cultivator either, as she understood death-attributed cultivators were mostly insane and this person seemed reasonable, so she was honestly confused.

”You two- this is still my island.” She echoed as she reminded them about propriety.

”...!”

It jolted Illumina out of her reverie as she gasped, but then turned to glare at Exawelese Skylov, ”Didn’t master tell you to go look for Fairy Jiayi Crystalveil? What are you still doing here!?”

She spat out while still clinging to Davis, her bosom pressing over his chest as she held him even more firmly while her hips swayed from the heat surging within her.

It made for a lewd scene, making Exawelese Skylov truly angered, but she knew she was stuck with them and needed them to gain benefits, so she shrieked, ”Fine! Do what you want, but I expect you to clean the place fully!”

”What difference does it make when you’re going to abandon it from tomorrow?”

”You-”

”Heh?” Davis chuckled from the sheer incredulity of the situation. He held Illumina’s butt cheeks, sinking his fingers deeper as he cast a gaze at the roc, ”Illumina, do not be rude to our benefactor. Since she is willing to give us accommodation, you should treat her with the utmost respect.”

”Mhmn~”

Illumina’s pitch-black eyes adorned with golden pupils quivered ever so lightly. She shook her head with an aggrieved hum, not wanting to apologize, but her ass was squeezed more firmly, causing her to submit.

She turned to look around again and threw a few words, ”I’m sorry, little birdie. I’ll treat you to a meal later.”

”~!@#$%^&*”

Exawelese Skylov nearly erupted there, but for some reason, she saw the person behind Illumina, his sapphire eyes having locked onto her. Her heart shook as she felt like she had been caught by the neck and held by a giant whose face couldn’t even be seen since he towered so tall, beyond her gaze.

”Can you help us guard the area for a day or two...? If you can, don’t let any prying eyes into this region.”

His gentle yet influential voice echoed out, shaking her mind.

For some reason, she felt compelled to answer favorably. She decided to go with her beastly instincts and nodded hesitantly, ”Don’t worry, fellow cultivator. My main island has a Peak-Level Exalt Grade Illusory Formation set up to prevent prying eyes from oogling at my sleeping form.”

”...”

Davis turned stunned, but nodded, ”Truly a descendant of a noble heritage and a refined upbringing.”

Exawelese Skylov threw a formation core of the illusory formation to Davis. However, she didn’t give the formation cores to the other important formations. She transformed into a roc the size of a bed board and soared into the skies again as though fleeing from him.

’This man... does he cultivate the supreme yang attribute for him to be this attractive and overbearing?’ She asked herself with some doubt.

Once she reached the top of the island, she didn’t leave but activated the other defensive formations and unleashed a technique that cast a darkness veil.

Davis’s gaze flickered as he looked above while Illumina constantly nibbled at his neck and sought his lips, going back and forth without concern for the eyes of the others.

The Jeweled Nightmare Tempest Roc seemed quite the oddity to be casting a karmic veil.

Since he lacked information on her race, he couldn’t tell if she used a species technique or a technique that she learned from her sect and was also used by Mystic Diviners. If it was the latter, then he felt like Yufella, the Dragonvein Serenity Turtle, could also be trained to use defensive karmic arts in the future. He couldn’t help but look forward to the progression of his family’s magical beast allies, but there was something else his body was looking forward to currently: the other head continually poking at Illumina’s waist and thighs.

She raised her legs and firmly provoked him, rubbing her thighs over him while her arms were wrapped around his neck and her bosoms pressed over him.

Davis finally lowered his gaze as he met her gaze.

The woman in front of him no longer seemed like the warrior but a sex addict. It wasn’t his first time facing a beast going into heat, but even for Nadia, her heat phase was still something modest compared to what his feisty Fiora and naughty Mingzhi would do, but for this rabbit, she appeared to feel no shame suddenly.

Her terrifying pitch-black sclera was like an endless abyss that pulled him in, and her golden pupils looked onto him, leading him astray.

He sank further into it and caught her lips, instantly engaging in furious passion.

Once their lips met, Illumina turned into a devourer, opening her mouth wide as she kissed him, seemingly having no propriety or the shyness she showed before. Her true inclination as a beast revealed itself. If she could devour Davis, she probably would, but she kept that thought alone suppressed and continued to indulge in his kisses that also turned voracious.

Davis’s soul sense extended, charting the floating island where the Jeweled Nightmare Tempest Roc had stayed for a long time.

Although the outer edges of the island were completely surrounded by feathers and other wall materials that made it look like a giant nest, the inside was completely different with its own ecosystem. There was a flowing river that ran from one side to the other, and within the center of the river was where he had harvested the Eternal Nightshade Moonflower.
