Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2986 Vile Outsider

Accursed Warlock Fraser Herrion, Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley, Wicked Tamer Jaxon Harrow.

These three names were uttered by the almighty and heavenly Celestial Transcendent.

How could Davis forget these names? Especially when they were told to be from the true immortal world.

The moment he sensed the aura of this person who somehow took control of Renfa Jadelight, he vaguely guessed that this person didnʼt belong here because his aura didnʼt match that of a human, magical beast, or a fey in terms of immortal undulations.

It was something else, and the moment he heard the termʼ Laws of Enchantingʼ from him, he instantly connected the dots.

This seed-stealing bastard practiced the Transcendent Cultivation System, so Davis was able to tell that this person was not of this world, making him believe that he was one of those three, and he chose to utter Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley because it matched with what the other party said.

He was going to drop the other two names as well, but he was sure this bastard was most likely Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley, and it turned out to be accurate, judging from what the other party uttered!

Feeling like he somewhat gained the upper hand, Davis smirked.

”How I know you donʼt matter, but if you want to know, I can divulge it if you tell me why youʼve stolen my seeds.”

”Is that even a question?” Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartleyʼs lips curled.

”A Saintʼs yang essence is extremely valuable that it sells for an unbelievable amount in the black market, but donʼt worry. I wonʼt give it away or use it on some random woman. Instead, I will enchant your essence into many things, like puppets to realms, imparting them with the qualities of the essence. Iʼll enchant anything, even souls. Do you want to give me more? Iʼll gladly take yours any day.”

ʼVile bitch…? Bastard…!ʼ

Davis couldnʼt believe that this person took over Renfa Jadelight and made a mess out of her just to obtain his seeds for purely growing his so-called Laws of Enchantment. It caused so much suffering to his women and Renfa Jadelight that his rage almost overclouded his mind. His anger even throttled past the anger he held for Patriarch Killian Zenflame as of this moment.

”Now Iʼve said my piece. Tell me how you know me.”

”Some dude in a white robe appeared from my tribu-”

*Crack!~* *Crack!~* *Crack!~*

”…!”

Webs of cracks appearing around them as though this temporary mental space was going to be destroyed, causing Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley to be shocked before he harrumphed.

Then everything turned black, receding into nothingness.

At the same time, Davis came out of his reverie, taking his hand back from Renfa Jadelightʼs head.

*Bang!~*

A ray of jade light struck Davis right on his face, causing him to be sent flying as he crashed into a wall. Dust emanated from the crash. However, he quickly shook himself out of the wallʼs grasp and floated, rubbing his lips as blood leaked from his mouth.

”No…”

He heard an enraged growl filled with sorrow, causing his heart to be shaken.

”You killed her…”

Davis gazed at the Starlight Jade Wolf King glare at him with killing intent as he held Renfa Jadelightʼs body in his embrace.

Surprisingly, her eyeballs seemed to have burst, almost painting her entire face with the blood but judging by what the Starlight Jade Wolf King said, Davisʼs expression churned as he knew that bastard killed Renfa Jadelight before leaving or disappearing from her soul.

”Get out… get out before I lose my mind and kill you…”

A low growl emanated from the Starlight Jade Wolf King. Nadia seemed to have been pushed back by him, but she walked over again, her eyes gleaming with the same killing intent for attacking her master.

”Both of you calm down…”

Davis took a deep breath as he uttered. His soul force flushed all over the place, but he couldnʼt find a trace of Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartleyʼs aura other than in Renfa Jadelightʼs collapsed soul sea, in her glabella to be precise.

”Renfa Jadelight was possessed...”

”…!?”

His words instantly startled the Starlight Jade Wolf King and Davion Jadelight. However, he continued with a somber expression on his face.

”I saw it in her memories. Someone karmically took her over, and if Iʼm right, that person enchanted her soul, meaning that they couldʼve enchanted themselves into her soul. I figure that it may be somewhat different from possession, which didnʼt allow her to realize that she was taken over, causing her to doubt her own actions and emotions...”

”…”

For a moment, the Starlight Jade Wolf King and Davion Jadelight couldnʼt follow. However, they quickly checked Renfa Jadelightʼs collapsed soul sea, and indeed, they sensed a foreign aura that they had never felt before.

Unless Davis planted this now, it wasnʼt possible for this aura to exist in Renfa Jadelightʼs collapsed soul sea, but since it was present, they had no choice but to believe Davisʼs words.

”You mean… she didnʼt consciously do all these things you accused her of…?”

Davis went stiff before he heaved a breath and shook his head.

He dropped to his knees and lowered his head, his gaze ridden with guilt.

”I apologize…”

The Starlight Jade Wolf King trembled, turning to look at the woman he made to love just yesterday and was courting more times than he could think in the past few weeks. His eyes were bloodshot, but he forcefully shut them.

”Just… leave…”

”… leave before the Ancestors show up and kill you… or I might even kill you myself and call it an end for the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan…”

His voice was filled with sorrow, although it was raised by a belly full of rage.

”…”

Davis didnʼt know how furious his sworn brother felt, but he definitely knew that it was enough to no longer allow them to have to same brotherly relationship.

Even so…

”Calm down and step away from Renfa Jadelight.” Davis stood up.

”You still dare to stay here!?”

The Starlight Jade Wolf King roared, stepping forward as he laid Renfa Jadelight to rest.

”Nadia…” But Davis uttered.

Instantly, Nadiaʼs three tails emerged out of the void and wrapped around the Starlight Jade Wolf Kingʼs limbs, causing him to be unable to move.

*Bzzz!~*

His immortal emperor beast undulations surged wildly but were unable to overthrow the deathly air around him. But suddenly, he felt an immense chill seeping into his spine as he looked at Davis cast something utterly otherworldly.

Black and white energy surged out from Davisʼs ten fingers, swirling like ten dragons creating a massive vortex. Heaven and earth energy shook at his momentum, gathering towards the vortex in copious amounts. As soon as the otherworldly vortex formed, it kept shrinking, turning into a sphere filled with an unknown power.

Unbeknownst to him, something flew into the swirling vortex of iridescent energy and became bound as though it was one entity.

”Who do you think I am? Iʼm not a person who murders a sworn brotherʼs woman, nor am I guilty of it. Besides…”

*RUMBLE!~*

”I am Divine before Death.”

A firm yet thunderous voice resounded around the Starlight Jade Wolf Clanʼs City as a blinding light stretched from within the main palace, filling the space Davis stood and beyond.
