Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2970 Due Consideration

”Natalya, donʼt be worried. Iʼm truly fine… In fact, tell your little sister to be a good girl and not to make a big matter out of it…”

Davis spoke to Natalya. However, there was a huge commotion in the background, causing him to purse his lips.

After asking about his well-being, they began to curse at him.

Even Evelynn wasnʼt amused. Although he instantly stumped her by saying that she also made the same decision back then when transforming into a fey, it didnʼt stop her from admonishing him. She stated that he was a father and shouldnʼt be so reckless.

Davis had no comeback to that. It made him want to see his children instead, making him wish that he could send his soul body, but he had exiled himself anyway. Going there would only bring the Aurora Cloud Gate trouble, or since he had exiled himself, they probably wouldnʼt even let him enter and might even capture him, depending on the circumstances.

He wanted to avoid that situation at all costs, as the Aurora Cloud Gate was good to him. He didnʼt want to put them in a bad position.

The messaging talisman exchanged hands multiple times before he was finally let go of with a warning.

”Alright, alright. Iʼll try not to practice my Cultivation like that again. Is Tina and Dalila there?”

”Mhmmm~” Mingzhi was the last one to finish him off, ”If you say so. Here…”

Davis waited to hear their voices as they hadnʼt cursed him or said anything. He wasnʼt worried if they were no longer passionate about him as their actions said that they did, but still, he wanted to meet them in person and relay his apologies to them, which he couldnʼt and had to rely on this long-distance communication which felt rather insincere.

”My love~”

Suddenly hearing Tinaʼs sweet voice while he was thinking of all sorts of apologies and excuses, his heart turned full of worry for her.

”Tina… did- did you succeed?”

By the time he was evicted, everyone from the Nine-Treasured Immortal Ordeal Palace, including Everlight, Tina, and Dalila, was already outside, somewhere in the mansion. He didnʼt have time to see them, nor did he know of Tinaʼs status.

”Yes~”

Tina giggled, ”I have completed my Four Elements Soul Physique. It is a grand success, allowing me to concoct pills ten times more easily at the very least~”

”What…?”

Davis gawked, ”No way… Did you learn Wood Laws?”

He already knew that Tina was traversing three Laws when she had the incomplete Smelting Three Elements Soul Physique, namely Fire Laws, Earth Laws, and Metal Laws. With this kind of combination, if she had chosen the path of being a forge master or blacksmith, then she would be in her own class.

However, she didnʼt like forging and liked alchemy. Therefore, she had unhesitatingly chosen to create the Four Elements Soul Physique, adamantly so despite the dangers of it, and laid down the foundations for it, even drinking and swallowing medicine when she needed to, as her soul physique had been flawed all this time.

He told Dalila to keep a watch on Tina and not overexert herself, and it seemed like Tinaʼs efforts had finally paid off, allowing her to solidify her Four Elements Soul Physique.

However, he only knew she had Fire, Earth, and Metal Laws, so if she wanted to concoct pills, Wood Laws would be better than learning Water Laws.

”I did, and indeed, I comprehended Wood Laws to the level of Quiddity yesterday~”

”Wonderful!~”

Davis also shared Tinaʼs excitement but quickly shook his head, ”No, I mean, what about your soul physique? Is everything fine?”

As a person who dabbled in creating artificial physiques, he was most clear about the side effects that could affect them. The reckless cultivation method he tried with his Essence Gathering Cultivation could not be replicated with his Soul Forging Cultivation, as failing that meant true death.

”Dear, you worry too much. The whole process from the beginning to the time I secluded myself to solidify the soul physique was overseen by one of the most important women you believe in your life, Ellia, and accompanied by my sworn sister Dalila, so remain assured that your Tina, is as healthy as a phoenix.”

”More than that, I heard you digested the pill we created for you but even went further in cultivation?” Tinaʼs voice turned worried, ”Iʼll start creating a pill to stabilize your cultivation immediately, so donʼt try anything strange like forcefully raising your cultivation again.”

”No, stop. I wonʼt raise my Cultivation as I know of the consequences, but you should stop.”

Davis enunciated, ”Go take some rest with Dalila. This time, I will come to see you all soon without fail and pay attention to your physique. I wonʼt disappoint you two.”

”Disappoint? What are you talking about?”

”…”

Hearing Tina act ignorant, Davis became speechless before he shook his head.

”Tina Roxley, youʼre taking my side too much. Let Dalila speak.”

”Oh, okay~”

Tina nodded and silently giggled, giving the messaging talisman to Dalila.

”Davis… Iʼm angry…”

Davisʼs eyes lit up, ”Tell me your grievances, and I shall rectify them.”

”Iʼm angry that you think that weʼre wasting ourselves while concocting pills.”

”Eh?”

”Listen carefully.” Dalila pressed on, her voice adopting a commanding tone, ”Cultivation is slow but concocting pills even slower. If you donʼt have patience in this profession, then youʼre better off not learning it at all. Well, what Iʼm trying to say is: we have all the patience in the world waiting for you, so donʼt needlessly tire yourself out by thinking that you disappointed us.”

”Dalila…” Davisʼs expression turned blank

”You sound mature...”

”Did you think I was childish!?” Dalila sounded flustered.

”I know what I was getting into, okay? I donʼt expect you to fall for me immediately or pay attention to me as much as you do give others, as itʼs only been a few years in reality. Iʼm working hard on it, and the only way I know to capture your heart is through pills~ Ah, sorry! Forget I said that... Ah, she ran away in embarrassment...

Tinaʼs voice sounded from a distance before it sounded closer, causing Davis to understand Dalila, but she threw the talisman to her captain and ran away.

But indeed, capture his heart through pills? That sounded like she was going to drug him.

But he knew that she meant it as her way of life, causing his lips to curl into one of pride.
