Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1047: Chapter 1038: Any Further Broadcast Would Be Restricted Content

After some time, Yamato didn’t know where she had flown to, but this distance was enough to shake off ”Kaidou,” so she landed on a nearby island.

”Woohoo! Finally got away from that hellhole. But why did you do it this way?”

”Heh heh, you still don’t get it. Fighting creatures like ’Kaidou’ is useless; even if you beat him to the ground, he’ll laugh happily. That guy isn’t a normal person.

But if you run away when he wants to fight, it’ll drive him mad. Just thinking about his expression makes me amused.”

”Seems that way.”

”Right? Right? You think I make sense too.”

The two Yamatos rarely reached a consensus, and then they walked off shoulder to shoulder, laughing.

”Did you do the same thing over there?”

”Uh... not really, so far I can’t outrun that idiot dad.”

This ”Kaidou” doesn’t have acceleration methods, but Yamato’s plan on the other side was executed before, though it ended with painful memories.

She is different from ”Yamato,” as she has some familial ties with Kaidou, so she always had to go home.

She tried to trick Kaidou with this method once, but Kaidou didn’t chase, instead preparing some new tricks for her.

Yamato didn’t expect that Kaidou would start the fight by using Belly Drum, hammering himself so hard that he spat out two mouthfuls of old blood.

The side effect of Belly Drum is enormous, requiring significant stamina consumption. Before the battle even starts, a large amount of stamina is wasted, which heavily impacts in the Pirate World where prolonged battles often erupt.

However, the amplification from Belly Drum is equally terrifying. Although it doesn’t boost speed, it directly maximizes attack strength, making it the fastest way to deliver high-intensity burst damage.

She will never forget that day’s battle. If it weren’t for Arceus coming back, who knows what the result would have been, so she’s always been devising new plans against Kaidou, though she’s yet to find a perfect strategy.

Kaidou’s raw strength is exceedingly strong, and he’s fearless, making threats or coercion nearly impossible.

Given Kaidou’s personality, even capturing a hostage is useless; he would choose to send the assassin to the grave rather than compromising.

Therefore, to deal with Kaidou, one can only defeat him with superior strength. Yamato could only find some sense of existence in the low-configuration version, or rather the normal version of ”Kaidou.”

”It seems you don’t have it easy either, but still better than me...”

”Yeah... wait a moment, your clothes...”

”Huh? What’s wrong?”

”You’re almost exposed!!”

The kimono worn by ”Yamato” had started to slip badly during high-speed flight, like finding a benefit episode scene in another manga world.

”It’s nothing, I don’t care anyway.”

”No! Your new life starts now. I need to get you into a change of clothes, so say goodbye to this outfit along with your imprisoned life!”

Seeing the ”Yamato” in front, Yamato pulled her into the woods on the island and began their grand change of attire.

”What are these things? Change, change; clogs aren’t as comfortable as these shoes... and the loincloth?? Make that disappear, try this; it’s much more comfortable than your stuff.”

Yamato’s bag was filled with plenty of her old clothes. Those smaller sizes were just right for ”Yamato,” and as for underwear, her new ones were extremely elastic, so it wasn’t a problem to give them to Yamato to wear.

Ten minutes later, the two Yamatos walked out of the woods. Seeing the ”Yamato” with a new outfit, Yamato felt she suddenly looked more agreeable.

”Ah, that’s right. Look, isn’t it more stylish this way?”

Using ice to make a full-length mirror, Yamato started tidying up her appearance. She had also just changed into a set of clothes purposefully without Pirate Flag symbols.

She had just discovered a problem.

Though over there she’s a wanted person, here the Navy knows nothing about ”Yamato.” Her identity is simply that of an ordinary civilian, making it legal for her to travel even to the Navy Headquarters.

”What’s the matter? Feeling awkward?”

”It’s alright... those boxers are pretty comfortable....”

...

While the two Yamatos were discussing clothing issues, Arceus had already cut off the live broadcast signal over there.

”Alright, stop hovering here, the banquet isn’t over yet. Go do your own thing.”

The live broadcast was about to show the dressing scene, which could easily invite censorship, and since Yamato had already left Wano Kuni, some things were unnecessary to continue.

The public punishment has ended for now, and the bystanders went to find new entertainment.

Yamato’s behavior was not much different from usual; it’s just that ”Yamato’s” existence let them know how terrifying Yamato’s self-development limit could be.

The Flying Six set up by ”Kaidou” was still fighting out there, allowing them to avoid the likelihood of dying a social death. Actually, the one suffering the most social death was King.

The Tenjison O move almost destroyed years of built-up reputation, but the only good news is that few people saw it.

When this live broadcast event ended, Queen finished his first round of dancing, hugging a large bucket of Mochi Red Bean Soup by the stage to replenish his energy.

Watching King and others come down from the upper floor like a movie has just ended, his face was filled with confusion.

”What have you guys been up to?”

”Saw something interesting. By the way, Queen, I realize I misunderstood you. To get where you are today, you’ve already worked hard enough.”

”Yeah, you’ve worked hard enough, just your starting point was too bad.”

”???”

Passing by, Shaina and King said something Queen couldn’t comprehend. He didn’t know that in another world, after losing the pressure that came with taking the heat, the other Queen’s strength and research capabilities severely regressed.

Compared to that Queen, this Queen is genuinely a genius.

...

”You made that girl see what she wanted. When are you planning to let her come back?”

After everyone dispersed, only Kaidou and Arceus remained here.

When Yamato returns is solely up to Arceus, and all Kaidou can do is wait.

”In a few days, maybe. Let her relax a bit, and meantime see how she trains herself.”

”Alright, I’ll prepare something. By then, she’ll understand what a surprise really is.”

Then Kaidou picked up a wine jar and left, drinking alone was much less fun; he wanted to find a few lucky buddies below to start a drinking contest.

Yamato didn’t know what happened back home. She was beginning a new voyage with another self, this time not sailing as a pirate but becoming a Bounty Hunter, moving along with ”Yamato” in the New World.....
