Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1036: Chapter 1027: Anyone Who Doesn’t Know My Adoptive Father Is Definitely a Fake

”Isn’t this what you wanted, Yamato Young Master... Anyway, if you’re willing, come with us, or we’ll be in trouble if Kaidou-sama gets angry...”

Yamato, with her carefree nature, didn’t notice the difference in title. Normally, besides high-level officials and her confidants calling her Miss Yamato, everyone else would only refer to her as Ghost Princess. Regardless, she shouldn’t be addressed with the term ’Young Master’.

If Robin were here with her, just from the title alone, she would notice something amiss, but Yamato was alone this time, and the awareness of Zekrom and Reshiram did not intend to remind her.

Those pirates were equally careless, without noticing why Yamato had removed her Prajna Mask, and how the Seastone Handcuffs on her wrist had vanished, even her clothes had changed, no longer the traditional Wano Kuni attire.

Raised by Arceus, Yamato definitely wouldn’t dress like this, but even though this was Ghost Island, it wasn’t the Ghost Island Yamato was familiar with, rather it was a world without Arceus, a Ghost Island belonging to the original timeline.

Yamato’s trial in Dragon Space had reached a stalemate, unable to win through combat or words, similar to how the brothers of the Super Beast Team were overwhelmed by the Netherworld King from beginning to end.

When the copy was deadlocked, no matter how many times it’s replayed, there’s no path to clearing it, so Arceus opened a new copy for Yamato, allowing her to see for herself what a world without her is like.

However, there’s a prerequisite: Yamato needed to first realize something was not right. She had just drunk quite a bit at the banquet, and the alcohol hadn’t worn off yet; she hasn’t noticed anything strange.

Even though Yamato had completely changed her style, her face remained the same, and the pirates, for the sake of reporting back, brought her to the banquet hall on Ghost Island.

...

”Who is the big performer who can sing and dance?!”

”Queen!”

”Who is the centerpiece of this golden Kagura event?!”

”Queen!”

Different world, same Queen, no matter where, Queen is still that flamboyant narcissistic character.

”Lord Queen! We’ve brought Yamato Young Master over!”

While Queen was boasting narcissistically, the voice of his subordinates came from nearby.

Listening to the voice, Queen felt a bit odd; the Hundred Beasts celebration here didn’t have as many annual events like the Fire Festival Night as those held by Arceus, which was a rare opportunity for dancing and drinking.

Every time Kaidou wanted Yamato to participate, but she never gave him any face.

It’s already beyond Queen’s expectation that these lackeys managed to bring Yamato here, yet what shocked him even more was the fact that Yamato had no handcuffs on.

Without Arceus, Yamato from the original timeline happened to find Kozuki Oden’s sea diary, after which she became possessed by the diary and changed completely, as if Oden had taken over.

Afterward, Kaidou imprisoned her on Ghost Island, although she could freely move there, she wore handcuffs that would explode if she left the island, and theoretically, Yamato shouldn’t have been able to undo those handcuffs, which was something Queen couldn’t fathom.

Moreover, Yamato had actually changed clothes, even her Wolf Fang Club, which was never left behind, had gone missing, which was also unexpected for Queen.

Not only was Queen astounded, but Yamato also grew increasingly confused, looking at the Wano Kuni style decoration, she was completely dizzy.

”What’s going on, how long has it been, did Ghost Island even renovate? Uncle Queen, your speed is just too fast.”

”I don’t understand what you’re saying...”

Queen slapped his own face; logically, she should be calling him Queen, but the term Uncle Queen is something that would never come from her mouth.

”Which year is it now?”

”1521.”

”1521?! Did I sleep for a year??”

Yamato was shocked by the time Queen mentioned, while Kurozumi Orochi brought a group of girls and walked over from the side, his behavior caused Yamato to furrow her brows, and hearing the title General Orochi, she showed an incredulous expression.

”Wait, isn’t Orochi dead? Isn’t Hiyori the current general?”

Upon hearing this title, the girl in Kurozumi Orochi’s embrace trembled, but Orochi didn’t notice this point and instead looked towards Yamato.

”Who is this rude woman, Queen?”

”Kaidou Brother’s son... but it’s very strange... it seems her mind’s been damaged.”

”Son??? Uncle Queen, how much did you drink? Can’t you even distinguish between genders?... Where is foster father? Everything here is so strange.”

This was the behavior of Yamato from the original timeline, who, possessed by the diary, firmly believed she was Kozuki Oden and thus thought she was male. Kaidou from the original timeline was powerless to change this, ultimately referring to her as his son.

”What are you trying to do disguised as Yamato Young Master?”

”I am Yamato! I still want to know what exactly is happening here! Where is foster father? Everything here is so strange.”

”Foster father? When did you have a foster father, old me doesn’t remember ever having such a brother.”

From the stairs beside, a tall figure descended, exactly like Kaidou in Yamato’s impression, except for a fierce X-shaped scar on his abdomen.

This sentence made Yamato recognize the reality; this isn’t Ghost Island, neither Kaidou nor Queen could have forgotten the existence of Arceus.

”If this is a joke, then it’s gone too far. I’ll give you a chance, remove these, and I’ll let it pass.”

Yamato kept speaking nonsense to herself, she thought it was a pirate violating Kaidou’s timeline and launching an attack, since now within Hundred Beasts, it’s hard for her to account for all the ability users.

Seeing no response, Yamato drew out her Aken 7.0 from her satchel.

”If that’s the case, then I’ll just knock all you impostors flying.”

”I thought you had understood by removing the mask, but apparently I was wrong, you’re still that idiot son, causing me to rejoice in vain, haven’t learned the lesson from last time!”

Kaidou swung the Wolf Fang Club towards Yamato, which was exactly like Kaidou in Yamato’s impression.

”Thundering Hakken!”

”Thundering Hakken!”

Facing ”Kaidou’s” attack, she had already formed a conditioned reflex, instinctively swinging her club to counter, but when the weapons collided, she noticed something off.

”Though I don’t know where you impostor learned Thundering Hakken, you’re at best Thundering Seven Hakken level!”

This ”Kaidou” wasn’t weak, yet was weaker than the Kaidou she faced daily, and that’s Yamato’s most direct feeling. Similarly, ”Kaidou” noticed something strange; although it was a probing attack, this swing actually pushed him back a step.
