Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1023: Chapter 1014: Sectarian Fanatic Song and the Magical Diary

Before the Summit War, Tesoro and Morgans collaborated to establish an electronic information platform based on the Rotom Phone. However, traditional journalists found it difficult to accept this new model, so the Rotom electronic information had not yet developed externally.

But it was different within Hundred Beasts; the fully functional Rotom Phone was distributed to the cadres earlier, and members of Hundred Beasts had already become accustomed to this convenient information tool, especially its group chat function, which was very convenient.

Most of the people on Arceus’s Origin are followers of the Arceus Sect. Among these followers, there are some individuals with very special tasks, which is to record the glorious moments of the Lord.

Unlike the chroniclers beside a monarch, these people are the most astute in the sect. Their only job is to spread the Lord’s glory without causing any displeasure to Arceus.

During this process, Shaina also acts as a gatekeeper, so nothing has gone wrong.

Arceus usually keeps a low profile, and the Summit War was one of the rare instances of his actions. That heaven-like power became the most effective tool in the propagation process of the sect members.

That was a real miracle, and for a burgeoning religion, nothing is more effective than a real miracle.

”The Lord does not seek to judge the world, but to save it. This chaotic world has long lost its bottom line. Only the Lord’s glory can drive out the 800 years of darkness.

The bounty is the enemy’s fear of the Lord. The Lord has not yet fully awakened, and what we need to do is to pave the way for the Lord to restore his power, spreading the Lord’s gospel.

Our efforts will surely be rewarded in the world of the future!”

Beneath the monastery’s statue, Misu held one hand with the teachings, while pointing with the other to the images projected by Rotom, below which a chorus of responses arose.

Besides the believers present, there were other followers using Rotom’s remote communication from other territories, members of the Holy Temple Knight Order who were out spreading the faith, and Punishment Knights fighting those who insult the divine, making it the most successful gathering since the foundation of the Arceus Sect.

If a new war was needed, these followers would have the courage to go to the battlefield. Their strength might not match the members of the Knight Order, but in terms of morale, they were not weaker than any army.

With the support of faith, this team would fear no death.

”But don’t forget, the Lord does not need meaningless deaths. Outside, your life is the most important.

When encountering enemies, the most sensible thing is to contact the members responsible for combat, rather than sacrifice yourself.”

Arceus Sect members began their worship under Misu’s lead, while other regions presented a completely different scenario.

In Kuri, Setsuna’s room, Miaona and Wolf sneaked in quietly. After realizing Setsuna hadn’t returned, Miaona extended a claw from her fingertip, trying to unlock the locked drawer.

”Is it ready yet?”

”Almost, I’m about to open it. Mom didn’t use any complicated lock.

Stop watching me; go keep watch at the window.”

Miaona quickly found the key position, twisted the claw to the right, and successfully opened the drawer, revealing neatly arranged diaries in front of her.

Setsuna has a habit of writing diaries and is the only one in Hundred Beasts who completely preserves those diaries. These diaries contain not only her past life but also some major events that happened in Hundred Beasts.

When Hundred Beasts’ cadres forget some things, asking Setsuna always helps. If they remember the specific date, Setsuna usually can find what they need from her diary.

This has become not just ordinary diaries but a history of Hundred Beasts’ development.

The reason they were looking through the diaries was due to a request from Yamato.

[Could you two help me check out Queen’s lab for his work logs to find evidence of him slacking off.]

When departing for the Summit War, to facilitate domestic defense work, Queen had handed over those permissions to Zeraora. Yamato remembered this, so she asked the two little ones to gather evidence against Queen. It’s not quite suitable for adults to handle such matters.

The two, although accompanied by Zeraora into the office, were overwhelmed by the number of files and didn’t know which ones Yamato needed. Subsequently, they thought of Setsuna’s diary.

Because Setsuna habitually marks additional tags in her diary, like Queen dragging Zeraora to work overtime before her date, she remembered this grudge with notes like that.

Through the diaries, they could find specific dates and then eliminate certain matters from Queen’s work logs, allowing them to roughly infer whether Queen had shelved certain tasks.

The research on Poison was a clue the siblings found in the diaries earlier.

Sometimes Setsuna takes them to read her diary and reminisce about past days; otherwise, they wouldn’t know Setsuna’s diaries were kept here.

Recently, Yamato sent another message to the siblings, asking them to look for any new evidence.

”Mom’s diaries are so many, more than our textbooks.”

”Yeah, how did she write so many diaries?”

Previously, Setsuna only had one diary when telling them stories. These little ones never imagined their mom wrote a drawer full of diaries. They didn’t know this was just a part of it.

But then, Setsuna silently appeared behind them.

”What are you two doing?”

”M... Mom?!”

Miaona glanced at Wolf with an expression that spoke volumes: Is this how you keep watch?

”Don’t bother thinking about it. I’ve been through your age too, and what you are using now are my leftover tricks.

Peeking into someone else’s diary is not right; respecting people’s privacy is necessary. If you want to know something, you two can just ask me directly.”

Setsuna didn’t lose her temper, but she corrected the two kids and educated them until they started reflecting on their behavior, then she asked them about their purpose.

”Sister Yamato asked us to find some evidence against Uncle Queen.”

”She says Uncle Queen tricked her during the Summit War, so she wants to settle the score.”

”Well then, why didn’t you ask me earlier? Come on, Mom will help you find it.”

This kind of behavior within Hundred Beasts is at most a brawl. If the brawl target is Queen, Setsuna would definitely not mind helping to settle some old grudges.

Although those matters have passed, recalling them still made her somewhat unhappy.

While Queen’s future seemed grim, near Whitebeard’s former territory, pirates who heard of Whitebeard’s death took action, only to be greeted by Jack, who had just arrived....
