Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 1007: Chapter 1000: Whitebeard’s Finale, A New Era Named Hundred Beasts

Not to mention this is still Navy territory. If it drags on for too long, the World Government will have enough time to deploy new forces, so Whitebeard only wants a swift battle resolution.

”One move? You’re really confident, Newgate. Fine, let me see what you’ve comprehended.”

Kaidou thought that with Whitebeard’s personality, saying he’ll do it in one move must not be for a suicide mission.

Since Whitebeard dared to say this, then he believes this move can inflict significant damage, which is exactly what Kaidou wants to witness.

”Fine, since that’s the case, I’ll end you with my strongest stance.”

”Gurarara, you’d better get serious, otherwise you might die, kid.”

Buzz!

The tremor power swept across the arena, and Whitebeard’s body was once again enveloped in a milky white halo, his Murakumogiri was pulled out anew, but this time, the blade emitted a faint wailing sound.

[Sorry old friend, let’s bear through this one last journey together.]

Looking at the weapon he had used for decades, Whitebeard felt a twinge of apology in his heart, and Murakumogiri seems to have sensed this emotion, bringing a touch of new resolve amidst its wailing.

Meanwhile, Kaidou also made a new move; the bracelet on his right hand emitted a kaleidoscope of light, which then spread along his arm across his body like a layer of crystal armor.

This was a detail even Yamato hadn’t noticed. Originally, Kaidou’s bracelet was just an ordinary metal spiked band, but after the Plate Radar was invented, it replaced the position of one bracelet, and in the meantime, the other spiked band transformed into a transparent crystal bracelet.

This wasn’t an ordinary bracelet, but a product of Tera.

Tera itself is a special product from the Paldea Region, and the locals even crafted it into Tera Orbs, storing Tera Energy inside—after Terastalization, Pokemon’s attributes change.

Each use would deplete its energy, requiring professionals to replenish it.

On this sea, only Arceus is able to replenish Tera Energy, and its role goes beyond attribute alteration.

Kaidou is human, not a Pokemon, his abilities have not been fully modified.

Though due to Arceus’s power, he possesses the ability to learn Pokemon moves, essentially there remains a vast difference between him and Pokemon.

Through Tera Power, he can further strengthen his body, allowing him to utilize Pokemon’s powers more perfectly, including some highly rare moves.

The attribute of the special Tera bracelet Arceus made for Kaidou is naturally Dragon, and upon Terastalization, Kaidou will fully unleash Dragon Type power.

Now, he is wrapped in a crystal layer, with no strange decorations on his head.

Hassaikai was once again held by Kaidou in his hand, with his physical strength and Haki constantly being infused into Hassaikai, the wolf fang club surrounded by purple-red energy, the phantom of a dragon slowly emerging behind Kaidou.

”Dragon Might.”

This purple-red energy is not Dragon Dance, but originally the exclusive move of the Dragon Divine Pillar Regidrago. Each Pokemon in the Divine Pillar Legion is unique, representing the extreme of a single attribute, and Regidrago signifies the manifestation of Dragon attributes.

Utilizing the Dragon Tera specially crafted by Arceus, Kaidou can also unleash Regidrago’s exclusive move, and has developed his own application of it.

In Kaidou’s hands, Dragon Might is no longer a singular light cannon, but has become part of his own Hakken Series.

”Ugorogoro, Newgate, be ready. You’re the first to witness this move; it was originally a surprise for my silly daughter, Mahajun Ryujin Hakke!”

The surrounding flame clouds were dyed purple by the overflowing energy within Kaidou, at this moment, Kaidou seemed like a demon dragon emerging from hell, carrying a horrific dragon shadow as he charged towards Whitebeard before him.

Looking at Kaidou’s new stance, Whitebeard remained silent, his body enduring a powerful counter shock force, injecting his Haki fully into Murakumogiri, and under Whitebeard’s swing, Murakumogiri, like a new moon, met Kaidou head-on.

Boom!

Whitebeard’s contained tremor power exploded completely at that moment, even Marinfanto couldn’t hold on, with the point of impact between Whitebeard and Kaidou as the center, Marinfanto was rendered into a fragmented state.

Innumerable rocks and soil were obliterated under Whitebeard’s power, while a ghastly blood scar appeared on Kaidou’s chest, the blood incessantly gushing from Kaidou’s chest accumulated into a pool beneath him.

”Ugorogoro, you indeed live up to your name, Newgate. You actually used the tremor to this extent?”

The Quake-Quake Fruit’s power was compressed to a point by Whitebeard, breaking through Kaidou’s defense, even shattering the Tera outer shell with a single strike.

”But it’s unfortunate, I’ve won, Newgate.”

During the recent clash, both unconsciously bypassed each other’s weapons, aiming at each other’s bodies.

Kaidou bore terrifying wounds left by Whitebeard, while Whitebeard’s chest became empty, as if pierced by some horrific beast.

In this final strike, Whitebeard also aimed to take Kaidou down, to reduce the danger his sons might encounter later.
