Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Ning Chenguang miraculously recovered in just half a year, he no longer felt irritated by the noisy sounds.

He wouldn’t easily forget things anymore.

His illness was completely cured!

An Hao excitedly shared this news with Qin Jian and also with those around her.

Ning Chenguang’s recovery meant that her son no longer needed to be fostered in someone else’s home.

He could return to her side, enjoy the same love and receive the same education as his brother Ning Chenyang.

Qin Jian even specially returned from the division headquarters, and the child’s grandparents also came back from the nursing home, everyone gathered to celebrate this good news.

They discussed and agreed that it was time to bring the child back.

But after all, the child had been fostered in someone else’s home for a year, and although they weren’t blood-related, they took such good care of him.

Qin Jian felt it was necessary to properly thank the He Family people, even if they were to take the child back, they should bid a proper farewell to the He Family.

The husband and wife sought Ning Chenguang’s opinion.

On one side were his biological parents, on the other side were the He Family people who were akin to his biological parents, Ning Chenguang found it hard to part with both.

However, he knew he had to leave.

During this year in the village, he harvested countless joys, but thought the most of his parents and brother.

He also felt it was time for him to return.

Ning Chenguang was going to make a final farewell to the He Family, before leaving, he and his parents went to the mall to buy a lot of things, and specially bought a beautiful doll for Yueyue.

With everything bought, the family once again arrived at He Family Manor.

At this point, it had already been a week since Ning Chenguang last left, and He Yueyue had long been anxiously waiting.

She both hoped her little brother’s illness would get better soon and worried he might leave once he recovered.

She spent every day in such trepidation.

She stood at the door each day gazing out at the road multiple times, finally on this day, she saw a military green vehicle driving over from afar.

”Little brother’s coming back!” she exclaimed joyfully, running to greet the arrival of the military vehicle.

The car stopped in front of He Yueyue, the door opened, and Ning Chenguang jumped down.

”You’ve finally come back, I’ve been waiting for you for so long.” He Yueyue pouted, expressing her dissatisfaction.

Ning Chenguang usually would smile and coax her, but this time, he remained silent, just staring at her, his eyes gradually reddening.

”Little brother, why are you crying?” He Yueyue stood on tiptoe, reached up to wipe his tears, casually asked, ”Did you go to the hospital for a check-up? Is the illness healed?”

Ning Chenguang looked at her, slowly nodded: ”Healed.”

”It’s good news that your illness is cured, huh, why are you crying?”

After He Yueyue finished speaking, she suddenly realized something was wrong, she stared blankly at Ning Chenguang and suddenly burst into tears: ”Little brother, now that your illness is healed, you have to leave, right?”

Ning Chenguang did not speak, lowered his head, and tears fell.

He Yueyue clasped his arms with both hands, gently shaking him, sobbing as she asked: ”Little brother, talk to me! Are you leaving? Are you?”

”Yes!” Ning Chenguang choked out.

Only then did He Yueyue realize that the moment of true separation had arrived!

It came so suddenly, so unexpectedly!
