Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Until she was nearly driven crazy by this feeling, dazed and confused, she heard Ji Chuan’s low, husky voice softly sound in her ear.

”I want you...”

Yan Huan’s hands gripped nervously as she heard her voice also tinged with a hint of desire: ”Will it hurt?”

”A little. But, I’ll be gentle!”

”Mm. I trust you!”

That night, Ji Chuan tirelessly brought Yan Huan to the heights of ecstasy again and again. The consciousness he had suppressed for so many years broke free from its seal and shackles that night, allowing him to love his beloved with all his might.

Yan Huan convulsed repeatedly, overwhelmed by the obliterating pleasure, clinging to Ji Chuan like a dodder plant, experiencing the ultimate joy of the union of spirit and flesh.

The two were lost in a sea of love and desire, unaware of when it would end.

In the morning, a ray of sunlight streamed through the window, spilling onto the marital bed, bright and warm.

Yan Huan awoke from her dreams, moving her aching body. As she opened her eyes, she saw the room adorned with red wedding symbols, reminding her she was now a married woman.

She suddenly remembered Ji Chuan lying on the other side of the bed. She quickly turned over to see Ji Chuan exposing his upper body, resting his cheek on his hand, with a gentle, slightly roguish smile at the corner of his mouth as he greeted her, ”Good morning, Mrs. Ji!”

Yan Huan smiled and softly replied in kind, ”Good morning, Mr. Ji!”

.........

Ning Chenguang was about to leave.

He had attended his brother’s commendation ceremony and the wedding of Ji Chuan and his godmother Yan Huan. It was time for him to go.

On the morning of his departure, Ning Chenguang hugged An Hao tightly, not wanting to leave.

Seeing her son’s reluctance, An Hao also felt a tightness in her heart, but for the sake of his condition, she had to send him away once more.

Chenguang also understood his mother’s intentions and buried his tears deep in his heart.

The military vehicle drove along the dusty country road, with Ning Chenguang nestled in An Hao’s arms, enjoying the warmth his mother brought him.

The farewell was approaching fast; he didn’t want to let go.

”Mom, tell me a story again.” he said.

”Alright. What story do you want to hear?” An Hao gently asked as she stroked her son’s jet-black hair.

”I want to hear the story of the Big Bad Wolf and the Little White Rabbit.”

”Why that story?” An Hao wondered, as Chenguang never liked those kinds of stories. On the contrary, it was Chenyang who liked them.

”Because I want to hear how the little rabbit deals with the big bad wolf.” Ning Chenguang muttered.

An Hao’s body trembled slightly, as if she understood something in that moment.

Perhaps, she had found the reason for her child’s unhappiness.

”Okay. Mom will tell you!” An Hao animatedly told Ning Chenguang the story, noticing his big, watery eyes lost in thought, then added, ”Of course, in our lives, there are also people like the big bad wolf. But some are obviously bad like the wolf, easy to spot. Others are not; they often wear a kind facade while doing harmful things.”

”What kind of things are harmful?” Ning Chenguang asked.

”Things that are not good for people, that don’t bring benefits, but cause harm.”

”Does making someone feel uncomfortable count?” Ning Chenguang suddenly asked.

”Did something happen to you?” A strong premonition told An Hao that Chenguang must have experienced something.
