Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2248: Chapter 2243: Get My Godsons Back

The driver was someone she recognized; that person was a doctor at her brother’s hospital.

And the woman slumped asleep in the back seat turned out to be An Hao!

Although the two cars just quickly passed by each other, she saw it clearly!

How is this possible?

Yan Huan thought she must have seen it wrong; her eyes must be playing tricks on her.

She rubbed her eyes and quickly leaned out the window, following the taxi with her gaze.

Instinctively, she memorized the car’s registration number in her mind.

Once the car returned to the camp, Yan Huan jumped out from the passenger seat.

Without bothering to greet the commander, she said to the soldier driving, ”Please tell the commander I’ve left first! I have unfinished business!”

”But... shouldn’t you tell him yourself? If the commander finds out I didn’t keep you, he might go crazy on me!”

The soldier said.

”He won’t, he won’t! Tell your commander I’ll definitely write it well! I’ll also choose some very British-style photos of him that you took to publish in the military report!” After saying this, Yan Huan sprinted away.

Back at her dormitory at the regimental headquarters, she picked up the phone and called Qin Jian’s home.

Oddly, at this time, no one answered the phone at her home.

She then called the military department, and it happened to be Qin Jian’s communication officer who answered: ”Are you looking for our commander? Our commander isn’t here!”

”Where did your commander go? I have something to verify with him!”

”Officer Yan, haven’t you heard? Our commander’s two sons were kidnapped! His wife was also taken hostage! He’s in a mess right now, searching everywhere!”

”What?” Yan Huan felt like something was wrong with her ears, ”Are you saying his sons and wife were kidnapped? Did I hear that correctly?”

”Officer Yan, you heard it perfectly right!”

”Where is he then?”

Yan Huan asked urgently.

”I’m not sure about that! I believe he’s searching all over the city!”

”Got it!” Yan Huan hung up the phone with a click and hurriedly ran out.

Wherever it was, she needed to find Qin Jian, she had to tell him about this news.

Yan Huan directly went to find their commander, requesting him to drive her out.

She explained the situation to the commander, who immediately took her around Nancheng City in his car.

Finally, they found Qin Jian in a hotel on the outskirts.

And Qin Jian had learned that Hua Jin and the others had left that afternoon and was feeling terribly anxious.

Yan Huan rushed over quickly, grabbed Qin Jian’s wrist tightly: ”Quick! Go chase! I saw the doctor from my brother’s hospital running away with An Hao; he was driving a taxi, I even remembered the car number for you! Come, give me your hand!”

Qin Jian quickly extended his hand, and Yan Huan took a pen from her military uniform pocket, biting off the cap and swiftly writing a string of numbers on his palm.

”It’s this car! More than an hour ago, they left the city! They’re heading towards Linjiang!! Hurry up and chase after them! You must save An Hao!”

”Alright! Thank you!” Qin Jian clenched his fists tightly, ”I’ll come back to thank you once I bring An Hao back!”

”No need to be so formal! Go quickly! Bring my two little godsons back too!!” Yan Huan shouted loudly behind him.
