Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2212: Chapter 2207: Doesn’t It Seem Strange?

Yuan Yunong somewhat apologetically said to the director: ”I’m sorry! I thought this was an educational game, and it could help the kids get some fun toys, so I stopped to let the kids play two games! But I didn’t expect so much time had passed!”

”Let’s go! If this happens again next time, I really will have to fire you!” the director said bluntly, ”At first I thought you were good at managing the kids! But now it’s really getting worse! Don’t assume that just because you have a good relationship with the commander, I will throw away my principles to tolerate this! If you think that way, you are seriously mistaken!”

”I understand. Director, I’ll be careful!”

....................

In the evening, two military trucks brought the kids back to the entrance of the compound.

Many parents were waiting at the gate.

Today, An Hao was looking forward to the two children’s early return, so she decided to wait at the gate to greet them.

The trucks stopped.

Teachers from each class took the children off the trucks.

When Yuan Yunong carried Ning Chenyang and Ning Chenguang off the truck, An Hao noticed the two toy guns in their hands.

”Yangyang, Guangguang!” she called out.

After the twin brothers saw her, they clutched their toy guns and rushed towards An Hao: ”Mom! Mom!”

An Hao hugged her two children and asked them how the guns came to be in their possession.

After Ning Chenyang and Ning Chenguang explained everything to An Hao, they proudly said: ”We won these! These are our spoils of war!”

”I want to show them to Dad when we get home!” Ning Chenyang said while caressing his beloved gun.

”Don’t you dislike guns? Why did you also want a gun?” An Hao pointed at Ning Chenguang and asked.

”I don’t like these,” Ning Chenguang tilted his head, contemplating seriously and said, ”But this is something I won, so I definitely want it. In case my brother’s gun breaks, mine would still be his!”

”Thank you, little brother!”

”No problem, big brother!”

”Such good boys!” An Hao hugged her two little ones and joyfully said, ”Let’s go home! You broke a sweat, I will give you a bath!”

”Yay!”

”Charge! Target, our home!”

At night, the children were asleep.

An Hao lay on Qin Jian’s chest, with a smile on her lips and said: ”Do you think there are parents more careless than us in the world? We don’t even know what our own kids are like!”

”Indeed! Hearing the kids talk, these two little guys might just be little geniuses!” Qin Jian looked at his hands, after solving three sides of the Rubik’s cube, and said emotionally, ”Even I can’t manage it!”

”I won’t even mention me.” An Hao held a smile, but after feeling proud inside, she felt something seemed amiss, ”Darling, don’t you find it strange? Is that man off his rocker? Using such a method to educate his son?”

”The world is full of wonders! Isn’t this just normal?” Qin Jian said, unconcerned.

”But. If he’s educating kids, the kids weren’t even brought here! According to Yangyang and Guangguang, they just played a few games with that man where I was!”

”Where do you think the issue lies?” Qin Jian asked.

”I can’t put my finger on it! It just feels like something isn’t quite right!” An Hao said truthfully.
