Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Capítulo 2207: Chapter 2202: Scheming Something Nefarious

“The park?” Qin Jian raised his hand to help An Hao wipe away the sweat on her forehead and said, “I got it. They’re planning to go to Xiqing Park. That park has a lot of trees, plus there’s a flowing fountain, so it’s not too hot! It’s also a place to escape the summer heat!”

“That’s why I’m preparing lunch for the little ones,” An Hao said with a smile, “As long as the kids love to eat, I’m not afraid of the effort!”

“You’re truly a great mother!” Qin Jian praised with a raised corner of his mouth.

“All mothers in the world are great. It’s not just me!” An Hao laughed, “Your mother is great too! She’s worried sick about us! She called me this morning, saying that no matter how outsiders try to stir things up, I must trust you! And she added, if you don’t behave, she will definitely give you a good scolding for me!”

“Mom understands and trusts me!” Qin Jian laughed.

“I don’t trust you?” An Hao glared at him, “I dare say the person who trusts you most in the world should be me!”

“Yes! Of course, it’s the wife!” Qin Jian hugged her tightly and kissed her, a smile spreading across his lips.

“You tease!” An Hao pouted, “If it weren’t for Yuan Yunong causing trouble, life would be so much better! Having two smart sons! Plus a handsome and charming husband…”

“An Hao, have you noticed something?” Qin Jian’s expression suddenly became serious, “Recently, Yuan Yunong has been oddly quiet! The rumors around the courtyard seem to have lessened as well.”

After taking out all the steamed buns from the pot, An Hao said, “Yes! The rumors have lessened a lot in the courtyard because last time, didn’t you mention to Wang Zhong about Liao Ting hitting me? Wang Zhong beat Liao Ting in the middle of the night so badly that she was screaming! Everyone in the courtyard heard it. Now when she sees me, she avoids me! As for Yuan Yunong… she indeed has quieted down a lot! Why is that? Could she be plotting something bad?”

Qin Jian shook his head: “I’m not really sure. Perhaps because that day Zhao Dong followed Yuan Yunong, she sensed it?”

“Anyway, let’s be cautious!” An Hao mentioned casually, not realizing that Yuan Yunong indeed was plotting a big move later.

………………..

The next day, the sky was clear and cloudless.

Early morning, the kindergarten children went to Xiqing Park under the guidance of their teachers.

In the morning, the teacher led the children to play games among the trees on the lawn, their laughter ringing out, sending birds fluttering away.

At noon, the teachers of each class led the children to have a picnic.

As soon as the picnic blanket was laid out, Yuan Yunong walked over to Ning Chenyang and Ning Chenguang and said, “Let’s not eat yet. The teacher will first take you to the restroom! It’s too far from here to the restroom. By the time you want to go, you might not make it, and I’m worried you might wet your pants!”

Her words made all the kids want to go.

Yuan Yunong then greeted the other teachers to watch the rest of the children and took Ning Chenyang, his brother, and a few other kids to the public restroom.

Upon reaching the restroom door, she saw a man setting up a pile of toys on the grass next to the restroom, with a sign next to the toys: Who is the smartest kid? Answer questions and get rewards.

Upon seeing the man, Yuan Yunong quickly exchanged eye contact with him.

The man immediately understood Yuan Yunong’s intention, so he stood up and started inviting the kids, “Come answer questions with uncle! Whoever answers the most questions will have a chance to get a toy from uncle! The first prize is a toy machine gun!”
