Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2237: Chapter 2231: Missing

”No, I haven’t seen them!” Teacher Wang shook her head, ”I’ve been watching the children the whole time. I even saw Teacher Yuan earlier; she seemed to be carrying a child upstairs. We have too many children; the hall couldn’t fit them all, so some were moved to the second-floor ward.”

”Let me go have a look,” the principal said and hurriedly went upstairs.

There were quite a few children in the second-floor ward as well.

The principal walked around among the children but didn’t see the pair of twins from Commander Qin’s family.

And Teacher Yuan Yunong was also nowhere to be found?

The principal was shocked and quickly went to the nurse’s station to check the patients’ records.

It turned out that almost all the school’s children were there except for the twin brothers, Ning Chenyang and Ning Chenguang.

The principal sensed that something was wrong and immediately called Qin Jian.

After Qin Jian heard everything, he was struck by lightning, frozen in place: ”How could such a thing happen? Didn’t I specifically instruct that the two brothers are not allowed to leave the kindergarten? I also specifically instructed the guards!”

”Commander Qin, you wouldn’t know. Today after lunch, all the children suddenly fell into a deep sleep. After naptime, no matter how we called them, they wouldn’t wake up! Every child was like this! Seeing the situation, we quickly reported to higher authorities and arranged vehicles to send the children to the hospital,” the principal explained.

Qin Jian then understood why the guards did not stop the children’s departure at first.

Because such a major incident happened.

Since it involved so many children, the guards could only consider the bigger picture.

Or maybe these two children were also unconscious, so even the guards couldn’t do anything.

He couldn’t blame the guards for that, but the issue was that they let the children go without reporting it!

”Commander Qin, if you have time, please come over as soon as possible!” the principal said.

”I understand!” Qin Jian said heavily, hanging up the phone.

Then, he dialed the guard post.

The soldier at the checkpoint, hearing it was the commander calling, quickly reported the situation to him.

”Commander, we couldn’t stop them! Your children were also unconscious! The kindergarten coordinated with our guard unit to send the children to the hospital! We called you afterward, but your orderly said you were in a meeting.”

”Got it,” Qin Jian said irritably, hanging up the phone.

The two children were missing just like that, and Qin Jian, of course, couldn’t stand by, but there was no news from Zhao Dong, who had been closely following Yuan Yunong.

He couldn’t be certain if the children were with Yuan Yunong.

So, regardless, he had to call the police first!

Let the police seal off the city and find the two children as soon as possible.

Since the children are missing now, could An Hao also be in danger?

Thinking of this, Qin Jian couldn’t sit still anymore. He didn’t expect that Yuan Yunong and they would act so quickly.

The speed was beyond his imagination.

Qin Jian reported to the police and then hurriedly called the hospital.

The nurse at the hospital said An Hao was still in the operating room and might not come out for a while.

Qin Jian told the nurse

:”Please make sure Dr. An stays at the hospital! I’m heading over there now!”

”Don’t worry! Once Dr. An is out of the operating room, I’ll definitely pass on your message,” the nurse promised.
