Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1886: 1886 Plan Step Two

After much contemplation, Hong Mei made a decision.

She and Hou Zicheng staged a drama where she was hit by a car and broke her leg.

It takes a hundred days for bone and muscle injuries to heal.

After she was discharged from the military hospital, her comrades sent her home to recuperate.

Her home was in Xixiang Hexi Village, and the abandoned ordnance factory was right in her hometown.

Tian Niu was stationed at this abandoned ordnance factory, making it perfectly reasonable for her to seek him out.

The second phase of the intelligence plan officially started.

She needed to get close to Tian Niu and use all her skills to extract useful information from him, which could serve as a stepping stone to infiltrate the armory.

The afternoon sunlight was very warm, An Hao lazily lay on the bed, playing with two children.

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, the two kids were already a year and a half old, and they could communicate with An Hao for quite a long time.

The two little guys babbled on noisily.

.

Watching as their features increasingly resembled Qin Jian’s, a slight smile crept onto An Hao’s lips.

Her two sons were certain to be very handsome, and she hoped the two children would also possess excellent character in the future.

Ring ring ring!

The phone at the bedside rang, interrupting An Hao’s thoughts.

”Mom! The phone...”

”Ring ring ring it went...”

The two children used childish yet lively language to express the situation.

An Hao laughed, bent down to kiss the two children, and then got up to answer the phone.

”Sis, are you off today? Bring the kids over for lunch; someone wants to treat us to a meal!”

”Who is it?” An Hao asked with a smile.

”You definitely won’t guess.” An Ping teased deliberately.

”I won’t guess. Just tell me.” She had to perform many surgeries every day and was preparing to return to the cardiothoracic department, feeling like her brain wasn’t enough for everything, unwilling to expend more energy on other matters.

”You’re just lazy.” An Ping was clearly dissatisfied with his sister’s lack of cooperation, but was helpless, ”Even if I asked you to guess, you wouldn’t. It’s actually An Hui who wants to treat us to a meal.”

”What did you say?!” An Hao could hardly believe her ears, ”He would treat us to a meal? I wouldn’t believe it even if you beat me to death.”

”It’s true! Come over, the restaurant is near the vegetable company.”

An Hao did not want to go out and did not want to meet the second uncle’s family, so she lazily refused: ”I’d better not go.”

”Come on! An Hui has really changed this time; you should come and see? The change is so great that we don’t even recognize him. Dad knows about An Hui’s change and is so happy he’s grinning from ear to ear. I’m afraid this brat is up to something. Sis, we urgently need your verification!” An Ping said.

Since it was like this, An Hao reluctantly decided to make the trip.

Besides, she hadn’t visited her father and An Ping for a long time, and she could seize the opportunity to see them.

Not far from the vegetable company was a small restaurant.

When An Hao arrived, the round table was already full of people. An Hui, seeing her coming, hurriedly stood up, smiling warmly.

”Sis! You’re here!”

An Hao responded half-heartedly: ”Mm.”

”Sis, sit down quickly!” An Hui was extremely attentive, ”Sis, we’ve already ordered dishes; not sure of your taste, you should order two more.”

This enthusiasm came too forcefully, and An Hao suddenly found it a bit overwhelming.
