Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1852: Chapter 1851: Trap

Taking advantage of her wonderful mood, she took out the notebook that had always accompanied her from her luggage, and wrote seriously with a fountain pen: I feel that I have never been so close to him, although our physical distance is getting further away, I feel as if my heart is with him, so warm… I really want to say to him, Captain, I really like you, but I truly lack the courage, afraid that saying that would make us close yet worlds apart.

Gan Tian recorded her mood in the notebook, cautiously placing the notebook full of her girlish thoughts back into her luggage. Her mind was filled with the image of Tian Niu, always longing for the moment to return home and reunite with him.

No one could have expected that this parting was actually the last time they would meet in their lives.

More than an hour later, Gan Tian arrived at the train station.

She waited for the train in the bustling waiting room.

A stranger woman came over, walked straight to Gan Tian, with tears in her eyes, and said: “Comrade PLA, could you do me a favor?”

“Please go ahead, madam! Whatever you need help with, I will certainly assist!” Gan Tian replied.

“I came with my child! I just went to the toilet, and when I came out, I found my child was missing. You are PLA, can you help me find my child?” The woman pleaded pitifully.

“Don’t worry, madam! I will definitely help you find your child. Let’s go! Tell me where your child went missing.” Gan Tian grabbed her luggage and followed the woman outside, “There is a police station near the train station, have you filed a report there?”

“Oh, I was so worried that I forgot! Comrade, can you accompany me?” The woman asked.

“Of course, I can. It’s better to mobilize the police together to search; the chances of finding the child are greater, and it can also save a lot of time.”

“Thank you so much.”

Gan Tian led the way in front, taking the woman out of the station, continuously moving forward.

“Don’t worry, madam, the road isn’t far, we just need to walk less than a kilometer,” Gan Tian said while walking, reassuring the woman.

“No hurry, no hurry,” the woman replied deliberately. When they reached a relatively deserted area, she suddenly pointed to the other side of the road and said, “What do you think that place is over there?”

As Gan Tian turned to look, a sharp pain suddenly shot through her neck. She struggled to turn her head and saw the woman tightly gripping a syringe stabbed into her neck.

Before she could utter a word, she felt a spinning dizziness, lost consciousness entirely as her eyes shut.

Playing the act to the end, the woman pulled out the syringe, threw it into the bushes beside the road, and shook Gan Tian’s body, shouting, “Comrade PLA! Comrade PLA! What’s wrong? Someone, please! Someone! The PLA comrade fainted!”

Two men stationed at the nearby intersection heard the shout, threw down the half-smoked cigarette in their hands, and ran over: “What’s wrong with the PLA comrade? Quickly, let’s take her to the hospital!”

…………

Who knows how much time has passed.

When Gan Tian reopened her eyes, she found herself lying in a completely unfamiliar place.

This seemed to be a simple wooden cabin.

How did she end up here?

Gan Tian recalled the events at the train station, it seemed like a woman used a syringe to inject something into her body, and then she blacked out.
