Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 769: Chapter 769: You’re Not Welcome Here

”Who’s there? Knocking on the door at this time is really annoying.” An Hao was being passionately kissed and suddenly heard a knock on the door, instantly ruining her good mood.

It’s almost eleven o’clock. Anyone knocking on the door so late at night definitely isn’t bringing good news.

”It can’t be mom, right?” Qin Jian sat up, turned over, and reached for the pants by the bed, slipped them on, and buckled the belt just above his impressive abs, ”I’d better go check the door.”

”Hey!” An Hao quickly called out to him, ”It’s definitely not mom! Unless it’s an emergency, she absolutely wouldn’t knock on our door at this hour. You should be careful! This place isn’t like the compound; I’m worried it could be some bad person.”

Qin Jian gave her a reassuring look, took a gentle breath, and opened the door a crack.

Seeing the people standing at the door, Qin Jian frowned involuntarily, ”Why is it you two? What are you doing here so late at night?”

”Brother! Can you open the door and let us in to talk?” Qin Fen huddled, his hands and feet cold from the freezing temperature.

It was already March, and night temperatures were still very low.

He and Song Yueqin had been squatting at the door for a whole evening, watching Qin Jian and his wife return home, not daring to go up rashly for fear that Qin Jian would refuse them entry.

Now that it was so late, if Qin Jian turned them away, they would have nowhere else to go, and the security outside was not very good either.

Qin Fen was certain his brother wouldn’t leave him out in the cold, which is why he specifically chose this time to come over.

”That’s right, big brother! It’s really cold outside; look at how Qin Fen and I have frozen!” Song Yueqin extended her red, chilled hands to Qin Jian.

An Hao thought someone had knocked on the wrong door and that Qin Jian would be right back after checking, but then she heard voices outside that sounded like Qin Fen and Song Yueqin.

She hurriedly got up, found her clothes, dressed, and came out.

Seeing that it was these two, she quickly stepped forward and with a loud bang, slammed the door shut: ”Leave! You’re not welcome here!”

Qin Fen certainly hadn’t expected such a turn of events and suddenly stood dumbfounded at the door.

”Leave, let’s go back to bed.” An Hao said without explanation, having already made her stance clear in the car.

And the purpose of these two visiting was quite obvious, which was to ask her for the jade bracelet.

She definitely wasn’t going to let them in.

Qin Jian hesitated at the door, but seeing the anger in An Hao’s eyes, he knew his wife was upset.

”Alright. I’ll go back with you.” He took An Hao’s hand and turned towards the bedroom.

Qin Fen indeed had gone a bit too far. Coming during broad daylight would have been one thing, but he had specifically chosen to come at night, aiming for his soft spot.

Qin Jian and An Hao had just returned to the bedroom when the persistent knocking and the shouts of Qin Fen and Song Yueqin wouldn’t stop outside.

”Should I just open the door? Otherwise, with the ruckus they’re making, don’t expect to get any peace tonight.” With that, Qin Jian prepared to open the door again.

”I forbid you to go,” An Hao grabbed his arm, ”If we can’t sleep, we’ll do something else. Just don’t go open that door.”

Saying this, An Hao wrapped her arms around Qin Jian’s neck and started kissing him.

Outside, the knocking and shouting continued unremittingly, while inside, the spring was boundless, filled with intense emotion.

It was like two different worlds!

Just when the two of them were breathlessly kissing, their door was violently pounded by a group of people, mixed with furious roars: ”What’s going on? Someone isn’t opening the door, letting these two wail like banshees, keeping people up at night.”
